    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

So you are saying it is ok to take someone's money and not refund or send the item? That is what he has done. Most of the emails back and forth have been from him giving excuse after excuse for not shipping. Why didn't he just tell me in the beginning that it was too cold? He kept giving excuses like he was too busy, or he didn't have heat packs, etc. I only sent him one email after he didn't reply after a couple of days that I didn't want to leave him negative feedback on the boards. All of the other emails have been friendly conversation. I think Jesse was stringing me along the whole time. He is a liar and now a thief. Jesse I hope you see this. All you had to do was reply back to my email that I sent over a week ago. All the emails have been me trying to get a set ship date, which I was given several. Then they were me emailing him trying to find out if something happened to delay the shipping and then I find out he didn't ship like he said he would. This happened several times. I also gave him 2 addresses to ship to and I was inquiring which one he would ship to depending on what day it was and what my schedule was. I was just trying to keep track of a pet and to make sure that it didn't get delivered and I wasn't aware of it. STAY FAR AWAY FROM JESSE FRICKER !!!!!!!

1 Don't order animals in the winter

Nope! Ain't what I said at all. Not even close.

What I was TRYING to say, is there are good reasons for NOT shipping, and don't think you are picturing them. That's why I gave an example of the hubs.
I feel your anxiety, trust me. I have ordered stuff on line, and been put on hold also.
I am not excusing Jesse one iota either. Especially for the lack of communication. And I agree, the more time that passes, the worse Jesse is looking.

Jesse, if you are following, (and I suspect that you are), I would deal with this quickly. The longer you wait, the worse it looks, and this thread is here FOREVER, as evidence to how you deal with your customers. Right now it's pretty fixable. Too much more time, and it'll pretty much make you look like a thief, and not to be trusted to do business with.

Just come deal with this before it's too late.

Actually, you just found his ad. He posted it almost a month ago, but as Dennis pointed out, he was here yesterday. For what it is worth, I checked the map and Slatington is very close to where the Hamburg Herp Show is located and the next one is this weekend. Who knows, he may have a table. If you know someone going, maybe they can ask around for you.

I agree, Jesse should have made contact with you by now, but it is still too cold to ship. Buying in the winter, knowing it may not be shipped until spring, has both advantages and disadvantages. I am sure you will see this the longer you remain in this hobby.

Yes Bart, I know that now. In the beginning I didn't realize that. Jesse kept telling me he could ship, but then would come up with an excuse like he was out of heat packs but would get them in the next day and would ship. He was just on this morning and I sent him a PM asking if he was still avoiding me and he instantly signed off without replying.

Most of the animals I was waiting on have come in this last week. I don’t necessary believe it’s to cold ship. It just depends on the person shipping and what's being shipped. I wouldn’t want to push anyone that wasn’t experienced enough or if they were just uncomfortable.

Regardless, as it has been pointed out, the refusal to address his customer as he views the activity here will continue to change the direction and opinion in this thread.

You never intended to ship the animal or refund my money. What happened to I would be more than compensated by the next day? I gave you time to make good on that and still you avoided me. What choice did I have? I feel like I have been taken advantage of. I went by what you told me you would do and still you backed out of it. I would like either the Crested shipped out Monday or my money refunded to me as soon as possible. You need to take care of me and not avoid me. You caused this to happen not me.

That's called passive aggressive.

I do think you jumped to conclusions faster than you should have, but there should have been some communication as to what the status was.

Making your refund "low priority" in retaliation is game playing and vindictive.

Unless he wants to come here and give his side of the story, all I can conclude is that he handles uncomfortable situations poorly. The damage is already done, all he is doing (assuming that quote is him) is making it worse for himself.

Try to not to jump the gun with accusations and paranoia in the future, and this kind of situation can be avoided. Hopefully you get your money or the gecko. If he does not intend to ship the gecko when weather permits, then I think he needs to refund immediately.

Well Jesse, the way I see it, and probably a majority of the board as well, if you would just take care of this, the negative comments would stop. Might have even turned into good comments had this been dealt with in a more timely manner. Now though, with this being a low priority to you, I'd say the thread is deserving.

Why don't you just man up, deal with this in an appropriate manner, and quit with the 12 year old attitude, so this can end?

You no what, thats enough! This is such BS. I couldn't ship Jerry's Crested when he wanted. Im sorry, but I don't care how much pressure I get from any "customer", I will not sentence one of my animals to death by shipping it in an ice storm. Jerry didn't like waiting, so he purchased other geckos and requested a refund, which I said was fine. When I didn't get it to him the day that he asked for it, he threatened me with a "Bad" post. Well, I don't respond well to threats. And Jerry mentioned that he was afraid that his gecko was sitting out in the cold on his porch. Thats some more BS. I told Jerry that I would contact him with a tracking number the moment it shipped and that if I didn't send him a tracking number, then it didn't ship. This is all about Jerry Foster changing his mind in the middle of a transaction and then threatening "BAD POST" when he didn't get his money as quickly as he thought he should. Jerry Foster is clearly not accustomed to having to wait for anything. I advise anyone that wishes to sell to Jerry Foster to let him know ahead of time, and certainly before receiving payment, that shipping dates may vary due to weather and refunds will not be expedited by threatening "BAD POST". This is not a pet store where you walk in and trade money for an animal. Internet purchases, especially of live animals, take time and consideration. Two things that Jerry Foster apparently doesn't have.
 
Jesse you kept telling me you would ship and then not do it. Then I asked for a refund and you said yes. Then you stopped responding to my emails. You said I would be refunded the next day. You never did that either. No wonder I don't trust you !!! Sure I may have been impatient, because you told me you could ship. I was wondering why all the "put offs" when you said you could ship. Now I pissed you off and you are refusing to refund me. I will be calling the police department in your area
tonight to see what i can do if anything. If you don't believe me just wait for a knock on your door or a phone call. I have ALL the emails and PM's from Jesse and can provide them to anyone who wants to see that he kept telling me day after day he would ship and then didn't. He NEVER said the weather was too bad, just that he needed heat packs which he was out of, but would get the next day. If anyone wants to see the emails just let me know and I will provide them. Jesse enough is enough. Refund my money now or I will make the call.

I always have and still do intend to complete our transaction. You threatened me with a bad post and I don't respond well to threats. You caused this not me. If I truly intended to screw someone out of money, for one it would have been allot more money, and secondly, you would have never heard from me after I received payment. I kept in touch with you rite up until you decided to hand out threats, and again, I don't respond well to threats. Let me know which address you will be at on Tuesday and/or Wednesday and perhaps, if you can go the entire weekend without threatening me or dragging my name through the mud, you will receive a package there. Good day

I want my money back because I don't trust him to take care and ship the animal after that comment.

Jesse, holding the guy's money for ransom makes you look like a jerk, at best. If you really wanted all this to go away, simply give the guy his money back, and be done with it.

It's certainly your choice, but at the same time, many people advised you to be patient in the beginning of the thread. This sort of thing is WHY. At least Jesse has come and responded.

Jesse, really man, just give the guy his money, and take it as a learning lesson. No need to make things worse than they are.

Thats funny. I don't recall "stating" anything about anyone else on the board.

I have witnessed and appreciate the way the board has in the past interveined and helped to resolve petty disputes such as this one. That is one of the things that makes sites like this so great. But, with all do respect to the board, It is not likely, at this point, that I will take your advice and "man up" as one of you put it. Jerry is in the wrong. He has inflamed this entire situation and unfortunately, I'm afraid my decision not to indulge Mr. Foster in an argument, in a public forum has left the board with only Jerry's extremely edited version of how things happened. Its kinda funny that Jerry comes here to tell you about the pm he got from me, but doesn't include the part where I asked which address he would be at on Tuesday (Feb 27) as I will be sending his gecko on Monday. This is just another edited version of our conversation. I advise you Jerry to file a complaint with the authorities and then I will make sure that they get the entire story, not just the parts that are beneficial to you. Then and only then will our transaction be completed. Good day.
