Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

BTW...you told me the geckos along with a few other things on your site were in stock! You never claimed to have to go out and buy it from a friend. Yes you did offer other animals @ a discounted price but we both agreed there was nothing you had that I wanted and you AGREED for the millionth time to send a refund...but as usual it never showed! You emailed me and asked for my address, I sent it, a week later you claimed you never got the email. I sent it AGAIN!!!! and I also sent it to you on AOL messenger...but ofcourse no check!!!! So I wrote you an email..asking you to stop jerking me around....I beleive I had the right...the bottom line just in case you forgot is... You promised a refund 4-5 times and the check has NEVER arrived.... am I wrong for bing so patient with you? Would anybody else wait 6 months for you???
 
I didn't offer a BCC at a discounted price.  I offered a male Guyanan BCC paid.  $100.  Incredible deal, you said you were downsizing and that you weren't interested.  The point is, I don't go out trying to screw people on deals.  Things go wrong, as this deal did, and you will get your damn money back, as I have said many times.  That is all there is to it.  Case closed.
 
The case will be closed when you do what you say! As far as I am concerned nothing has changed...if the check arrives then and only then is the case closed!
 
To be quite honest, at this point, you're not too high up on my priority list.  Post your address here, and I will send you reimbursment.  Until then, I would appreciate any slandering to subside, and, as I said, any form of e-mail to be civil.  [email protected]

Thanks for the comradery for Charles on your part, Kim.  It seems you two already have an established relationship, so anything I say won't be good enough for you anyway.  I don't think I'm a great person for telling Charles that I have his money, you seem to have been misreading everything.  I had to remind him that I had a deposit.  I have made attempts to mend this, for example, as previously stated, I offered a male guyanan boa, basically free of charge, other than shipping.  Charles declined, saying that he was downsizing.  Now please, just because you are friend with Charles, does not automaticall make him right.

Why do people continually kill their rep over a lousy buck or two. From your replies there was never an issue if the money was due or not. Casey even pointed out that you said "I'll send the money" in various formats yet the next page and you still are arguing.

You say your in it for the hobby not the money. Hobbies are supposed to be fun and stress relief, cut the check and enjoy the hobby.
 
I don't feel that I am ruining my rep over $100.  I have 2 unsatisfied customers and many satisfied.  Charles, and some psycho who tried to pull a fast one on me.  Anyone who knows me knows that I try my damndest to work with people.  Charles obviously doesn't see it that way.  Charles, next time you back out of a deal, be ready to deal with someone not working everything out exactly how you say.  You backed out, not me.
 
I backed out??? YOU SOLD the snake I PAID a DEPOSIT on!!! And you admitted that...sounds to me like the deal went wrong becuase YOU sold the snake......that is the bottom line...there is no pointing fingers. The deal went bad when you sold the snake you already sold to me. Now send the check and prove us all wrong.

As far as I know, Charles is a great guy to work with.  He sent me a deposit for a Suri a while back, and someone had sold the Suri without me knowing it.  Charles understood.  I still owe him the deposit back, and he has been more than patient with me.  Very very understanding guy, and very nice animals.

I tend to cut Jimi some slack because what happened in my deal was I paid $135+$25 shipping for a trio of hatchling mexmex and asked him not to ship for three weeks until I got back from vacation. One of the females got sold by his partner before they were shippied and the other female died. Jimi replaced one with a much better yearling female mexmex and offered a refund when he could on the one that died. I agreed to this and when I got the snakes the replacement female was much better than expected both in size and color worth alot more than the $45 the hatchling female cost. Also the shipping was more than the $25 I was charged. I have never seen a better looking mexmex than the replacement animal, it had perfect squares down it's back like the wild phenotypes and not bands like some of the inbred ones that are out there. I was so impressed with the animal that I completly forgot about the refund until I read this thread. I do believe that Kevin may have buned Jimi in their partnership and this caused alot of problems Jimi has yet to rectify all of them. At this point I would not even want a refund because after recieving the replacement animal I can see it was well worth the cost of the original animal plus the refund not to mention the shipping was undercharged.
Be that as it may Charles should get his refund, but as for me I would definately do bussiness with Jimi again because I feel anything I bought would be better than described.
 
Well Jimi, I think all your headaches would end if instead of promises you simply sent Charles the money he is owed.  I think you are making yourself look bad here by continuing to promise he will get his money back.  Even if you don't have the money right now at least post a date when he will get it from you and stick to that date and I think most people would give you the benefit of the doubt.  On the other hand what keeps going on in my mind is, how did you sell the same snake twice ?  I would say that you need to be more careful in the future and you will avoid situation like this one from happening to you again.

Just an update..afther the flaming on the BOI, I emailed my Jimi my address as promised and he sent me this email:
