    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Some times a person reaches a point where the negative is all that they understand.I have been there.Richard you are kind of like a hero to me now.Some truths are hard to hear but much harder to say .The truth is I did not understand much of this and I will read it one more time to be sure.What I got was .This guy has a hard time expressing him self with out anger and is doing alot of blameing,in time this will most likely pass as prison changes a person and it takes time to re enter society .I do not feel sorry for his family as he most likely loves them and is doing what he can for them.That remark was a little out of line,inmo.He could come around and be a good member of the herp community some day. The key would be to release the past and embrace the future .No one was ripped off no money was lost.Anger can rule a person as I know all to well I hope that this passes for him

It's doable. But what it takes is something inside. You first have to admit, then realize, then act on it. As long as it is the fault of others, there is no self acknowledgment of wrong doing. If you're not doing wrong, there's nothing to change, right. :shrug01:

Yes, I do understand though. That's sorta what I was trying to get across to him. Some people have to go back inside again to figure it out though. Some never do. :shrug01:

Yea I changed my signature from brian & jessica so it made no sence lol. BTW Richard... I have HUGE RESPECT for your ability to overcome your past (my older sister has the same past) she is like you, (one of the 10% that gets away from that peticular addiction.) Also huge respect for bringing it up to help out a future member of the fauna comunity (too bad he spit in everyones face for trying to help) some day he will lear from his mistakes and grow as a person.

My love of all things wild, and concentrating on my critters had a lot to do with it. ;)

He'll figure it out one day. Inside, kindness is not understood for what it is, it's understood as weakness. The mentality is hard to lose for some.
 
Richard, that is a very true statement.. I truely hope the op takes a big deep breath and finds SOMETHING to help him with the pain inside I'm more than willing to help as long as their is no yelling. I'm sure after a nice apology lots of member here would as well.
 
Alright I guess now is the time where I bow down and ask for everyones forgiveness. I am truly sorry for backing this guy up. Everyone was right about him.

After me telling him I could not ship until wed this week cause I was waiting for heat packs from SYR. He wanted me to go get some walmart special 18 hr heat packs. I did not want to do this first its a walmart special (so its worthless). Second its only 18 hrs.

So we talked back and forth all last week and weekend through email and phone. (which now I know why people dont want to talk on the phone this guy called or texted me 10 times a day) Tuesday came day before my supplies were to get here so I could ship out (by the way had already sent him a email with my shipping label that I got the middle of last week that I now need to get my money back from SYR for it). He sends me a text and a email saying that he was sorry he is going to back out of the deal cause he was tired of waiting.

He couldnt see why I wouldnt just go and get the walmart special heat packs. He was like they work well I use them all the time.

Plus I am a bartender so I work nights and sleep most of the day (which he also knew) and was upset that I would not respond to every text, phone call, and email.

I will never do business with him again. I gather that not many people on this site will either for you all already made up your minds about him. I was wrong and should of went with what everyone else thought about him

I just hope that no one will hold this over my head. I hope that it doesnt ruin my name or any rep I am trying to build for myself here.

Josh, live and learn. By the way, there is nothing to forgive regarding you. One word of advice though, never stake your reputation on someone whom you have never done business with. We are only here to get to the bottom of things and well, his bottom line went deeper than most of us care to go. You will be fine;)

It takes a big man to swollow his pride and type this. I'd say you are on the right track. You just got caught up in the moment (I hope).

This is why I said earlier in this thread that I wouldn't put my rep or my business rep behind someone I did not personally know (face to face) or known for a VERY long time online.

Just learn from this experience and dont be so quick to back someone you dont really know.

It's ok, I guess it happens. I'm just glad he didn't get away with it and walk away a good guy while labeling me a bad girl lol, he could have really messed things up for me.

Ok a little up date on this. John had told me that he was thinking about going to kingsnake.com cause of the way he was treated here. I just saw a couple of postings on there by someone just calling themselves Jeff. Who just joined kingsnakes a couple of days ago. He has the same 2 adults year and all as well as some other stuff posted up there for sale and trade.

Not thinking about John I sent (Jeff) a email (which is different but same type johns was [email protected] and this one is [email protected]) about trading for some of the snakes. He replied very rude like no.

I then thought about John and saw that Jeff had the same adults and same price (06 anery and 06 ghost $75 each). So I sent him a message to send pics of the 2 adults and said I could pay cash for them would like to see pics.

So now I am waiting to here back from him. So I will let you all know if this is the same guy very shortly I hope.
