    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Was contacted by John about a animal I had up for trade and we worked out a deal. He is a great guy that I have known for a few years, but I've not had the pleasure of doing business with until now. I would highly recommend doing business with him if you get the chance.
 
Jas is good peoples. Just a bit misunderstood. Okay, a LOT misunderstood.

He's always been very pleasant to chat with, and has offered to help me out with some stuff on a couple occasions. I haven't been able to purchase an animal from him yet, but I want to.

Because he has a history of being abusive to other members on this site, cannot seem to break the habit of using profanity in his posts, and the last straw was a post that was both racist and profane in nature towards another member.

There are two PAGES of infractions on his record, so it's not like he wasn't given sufficient notice that his actions were reaching the stage where he would have to be banned from here.

As to this being any indication of how John Stranahan will be in his business dealings with you is something that you will have to form your own opinion about.

I finally had the opportunity to purchase an animal from John and am very pleased. It was a straightforward, no BS deal just the way I like them and I had zero issues with his communication/shipping/customer service. Gorgeous little VPI axanthic female! I hope to be able to buy from him again sometime. :yesnod:

Okay, so I just thought you guys would like to see how rude John "Jasballs" Stranahan is. Most of you don't know but my dad passed away in March. My dad and I were very close, and I miss him. I post on my facebook a lot saying "I miss you daddy." Well tonight I posted something else and I got some VERY rude remarks.. It starts on my wall and then goes to chat.

I have to show emails of his comments that were sent when he replied since he deleted them before I had a chance to copy and paste them. I put them where the comments were on the status.. Then you will see his lovely chat with me.

YES, I know I lost my temper.. But how could anyone act like that to someone who lost a loved one.


Personally, I would not buy from someone with this kind of demeaning personality. Such filthy words. How would he react if the transaction went wrong and you complained?

I have never really even spoken to this guy before, and he just decided to comment those nasty things? He doesn't even know me. So NO, I will not ever personally buy from him, or recommend buying from him. And even if you say he has nice animals, His has low-class to stoop so low and I will not be putting one penny into his pocket.
 
I agree, Lena!

While I am glad some of you had great/good transactions, we all know how it goes if a seller is unable to exhibit self-control in areas of his life.

I would not purchase from him either after some of the things I read and experienced because I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end if those spots re-appeared during a business transaction.

A leopard does not change his spots: he can disguise them for a while..but they will always re-appear.

Just SO not worth the risk.
 
Just for the record - Lena's post should not become the topic of discussion in THIS thread. She has initiated a thread in HELL, and members are free to comment to her there.

*Lena, this admonition was not about you posting this here - I believe it has a purpose in this thread...but a good majority of the comments it will inspire simply have no place in a BOI thread.

**I'm not saying people cannot tie that into a BOI relevant post (Deborah did so quite nicely), just advising people that if their comments aren't pertinent to this thread, they should be placed in the other one....and remember, personal attacks aren't condoned in HELL, either
 
Lena's post in my opinion reflect John's character and I am glad she posted on here.. How people act in their personal life will surely eventually show up in their business ethics.. I personally have never did business with John so I can only comment on what I have read.
 
I recently purchased a VPI axanthic female from Jas and would not hesitate to do business with him again, transaction was smooth and my axanthic is freakin amazing. If your looking for hott animals Jas has got them.

Jas (John Stranahan) has my respect plus he's got some killer mojaves too.LOL
 
I recently received a nice little Enchi girl from John (Jas).. She was the last one to start eating, and John was very honest, and patient with this, and kept me well informed.

I will soon be working a trade with him, and am very much looking forward to it.
 
Her identity crisis doesn't negate John's part in that conversation, does it?
 
No I disagree on that.. Regardless if she was real or fake he said what he said not knowing any different... His statements reflect his character and thats what makes her post relevant...
