    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I know he is well liked and I have known him a long time.. and really don't want to drag him in the mud ..but..the way he has been with me ..is just the opposite..of Jordan.
on june 18th 2013 he came over and picked up $5000 worth of 2013 boa morphs..july 4-5.. Jordan came over and paid me $1500..which was fine and I left him alone all summer and early fall..times up ..need the balance.
not emailing or calling any longer..
not sure what to do..paper work for small claims is next.
so sorry for this!

No need for proof. I most certainly owe Tibor $2,700.00 for a group of consigned animals.

It is not his fault this has lapsed longer than it should, and that is my fault.

There has been no avoidance, no unreturned emails or phone calls.

There was a few day period where he thought I was avoiding him, but that was because my phone number had changed (I had made sure to blast that all over facebook, changed it on my website, kingsnake/fauna ads etc...)

By the time I realized he had been trying to reach me (through a friend) he had already gotten himself quite worked up. I sent him a lengthy email explaining what had happened and asked him to call me once he had calmed down (and re-provided the new number).

I never heard back.

Some time later (a few weeks maybe?) I got an upset text from Tibor's wife asking why I was avoiding them. I explained I would never avoid them (I have known Tibor for maybe 13 years or more?) we had a lengthy conversation via text about the situation and I thought we had an understanding that I unfortunately did not have the funds to cover the consigned animals and until some inventory started moving I couldn't fill the remaining consigned value ($2700).

I offered them the trade in/up animals if they were legitimately concerned that I was avoiding them and wouldn't pay. Since via text it was suggested that I was ripping them off. This was declined, and Robin and I left the conversation under the pretense they would wait for inventory to sell.

They have done nothing wrong, I have had a very rough year financially and have simply over-extended myself. They are without a doubt a top priority for me, and they will most certainly be paid in full the moment I am financially able.

I apologize for this situation, and my mess is my mess to clean up.

Jordan is honest, trustworthy, and dependable, an all around great guy, a definite asset to Herpetoculture!!

With all the great reviews an all....So I can wonder if All the proceeds(Cash) went to USARK?? You know all those Fund raisers. Just my Opinion!

manning up and paying up are 2 different things. If a deal is made and you have to pay by a certain day then that should happen no matter what. If you take something on credit you should make sure you can pay for it and not hope to resale it and pay for it.
How many times have we heard "I will pay you" and this is extended for months at a time and never see a dime!!
Make a deal stick to a deal!!!

keith, your statement borders on libel. And if you had chipped in and participated in the auctions you would already know there were no cash transactions and that no money was sent to or passed through Jordan's hands. Statements like that piss me off. Keith, you are a good guy, but really?

You are absolutely right, I should have never accepted the boas without having the money to cover them in my account.

Keith, rest assured there isn't any possible scenario where money could be mismanaged. I have worked very hard to raise money for USARK since November of 2013 and every single payment from every auction and raffle I have done has been paid DIRECTLY to USARK even the raffle website checkout button (www.raaca.net) is set up with USARK's paypal address. Each buyer on each auction pays USARK directly and then sends a screen shot of their proof of payment to both myself (to clear them as paid from my file) and to the donor to clear the animal for shipping. We have raised over $100,000 for USARK since November and not one penny has gone to my pocket, or anyone elses other than USARK.

for someone that lives in a highend gated community and hired a limo last summer ..your a smooth writer / talker and should run for an office some where..if all your cronies would know the true conversation we had here and on the phone in oct..(hows it my problem)..this thread would hit 12,000 in a month .with your actions to me ..they do speak louder than words...and the 4 stack of AP cages with heat and thermistat for $800..I could have used them back in july,aug,sept,oct even Nov.. but in dec I built my own that i needed back then..sell them.. give the new usark $500 in my name..this is better ..the reptile community is big enough we don't need to see each other again.

and for Lucille..your like an infection on a open wound ..don't you have a bike to build...ditto!

ok so I got in a little trouble with my post..sorry to Lucille and David for my Bad post.
as for Jordan its obvious he is in a bind..not wanting to beat a man down..I'll make do.its his bad ...he lives 30 minutes and could of came over face to face and told me of his problem.. ok learning lesson..let this post die way down and hope for better.

. The BOI has become an absolute circus. What was created to serve the reptile community has become a toothless joke. I challenge the moderators to re-format the BOI and only allow the parties involved and actual moderators (sorry Lucille, find something else to do) to post on a thread. All the other nonsense just clouds the real issues and takes the legs out of the spirit of the BOI. It can be good again if all the clowns and self appointed forum moderators are put in their place and instructed to stay out of it unless they are involved. If that means you( or me ) can no longer chime in to support a party by sharing your previous experience, transactions or interactions, then so be it. Most of these threads have morphed into garbage. That is not how the BOI is run, Mike. And it is NOT going to be run that way because that way just does not work. It's PEER PRESSURE that is the muscle behind this. It is the participation of PROSPECTIVE CUSTOMERS that can influence participants in a dispute to make more effort to do right in their transactions.

"Toothless"? :rofl: Yeah, right.... I'll bet a LOT of people wish that were true.


BTW, did you come to this revelation before or after you engaged in the very same thing you say is wrong with this place in another thread here on the BOI?
