    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Why should I type and add more to this thread when I have told my story in full?....I guess that is a little funny!

The original poster of this thread was rtmreptiles who asked if anyone had had any experiences with FYB, so I replied. I told my story in full. I showed the pics etc and told of the conclusion.

Do I have to tell the whole story all over again and waste space on this site or maybe if we just back track a few pages those that think i need to type more of the same can read the original?

I am way done with this thread and life rolls on!

That's my point. YOU THE PERSON WHO ACTUALLY HAD THE PROBLEM, have stated your case (quite well) and been refunded your money. You've even been apoligized to, so why are Mark and Aimee continuing to beat these guys over the head.

1.They refunded the money.

2.They stated what they though may have been the cause of the problem.

3.They apoligized.

What else do you want??? First born... Josh ain't all that pretty, I really don't think ya wanna go there. :D

As someone said, everyone makes mistakes. FYB has admitted that and corrected the problem. Drop it.

The one I saw had FYB pointing fingers at the buyer and the person they bought the snakes from. To me, this is an attempt to "AVOID" responsibility. It was only after several others pointed this out that FYB said they "think" it "may" have been the heatpacks, but FYB has yet to explain to us how they packed the box or how many heat packs and of what type they used.
Until FYB shows beyond a doubt that they have taken responsibility, stated what the problem is for all to see and stated what they have done to correct it, there is still alot of "doubt" about their reputation.

4. Another party has come forward to say that they have had several successful dealings w/ FYB.

He can not bring them back from the dead. If he could, we wouldn't be here now would we. What more do you want? Even if I didn't know Josh, he would have satisfied me at this point.

I honestly don't understand what you want from him. You say you want to know exactly how he packed the box, but that's just unreasonable. How long ago was this anyway??? I know for a fact Josh has probably packed about 5000 boxes in the past 6 months, so I seriously doubt he can remember the details of every single one. It appears that the customer that had the problem has moved on, so why can't everyone else? Is it a black mark on his record? Sure, but it's one he's made amends for.

I thought this was originally about Joshua's poor business practices??? then all of a sudden it's a 20+ man battle-royal with everybody fighting each other's battles and who's vouching for who, a little too late might I add....

I'll continue what this was created for - opinions on Joshua.

I have NOT had dealings with Joshua thus far and this is only because I did not like the content nor the attitude of his responses to my emails.
I did inquire about an animal or two, including trade offers- he responded in a way I wasn't pleased with... let's just say it wasn't the most professionally courteous response i've heard...
He then repeatedly emailed me back offering other trade deals, including some wild caught iguana's and gravid adult females. He even sent me a pic of a big wildcaught iggy he caught, just to show me, asking me for my opinion. From what I culd see in the pic, it didn't have a tail - but that's neither here nor there..

I know this thread wasn't started because of FYB Exotics (please forgive me if the business title is incorrect), it was started because of Joshua.
I don't think it's right nor necessary for Steve and Joe from FYB (if that is their correct names) to get upset, defend themselves, or lash out to the rest of the people here, unless directly offended - which I think shouldn't have happened in the first place.
If someone's main concern is to criticize someone else's typing or spelling abilities, I believe that person is in need of some help.
I think Joshua should be the ONLY person here defending Joshua - not how many people can vouch for him and has more experience and knowledge than he does.

FROM WHAT I CAME TO REALIZE FROM OUR EMAIL, and from what a reputable breeder/cmpany TOLD ME, MY OPINION is that Joshua is young, inexperienced, and not so much concerned with healthy/quality but more with the money.
I understand he wants to 'dive' into this wonderfull and very rewarding industry, but this is NOT the way to do that!

Joshua: You could refund EVERYONE the SAME DAY for the rest of your career!!! that doesn't help the fact that you are sending poor quality animals!

In MY OPINION, the pics of those bloods looks like someone went through an importers garbage picking out the dead animals (starvation, infection, parasites, etc..) and selling them hoping someone wouldn't complain!!

other wise the only other situation I can think of is that after they died of the same methods as listed above, they were left out for a few days before shipping.
Those pics break my heart and turn my stomach.

Something else that turns my stomach is that his name Joshua reminds me of the infamous Joshua Myers from Philladelphia Exotic Pets who scammed me and several others for $1,800.00 a piece for an invisible 6 foot female Sharp strain Albino Columbia Boa about a year ago. Classic.
This guy, from what I know, has not been caught yet. Who knows if he is laying low or is the next Jesse Underhill! lol... anyway..

Those are my opinions here. I have NOT seen his animals so I can't comment on them.

Thanks much Steve for your clarification and apology - for you to do so means a great deal and reflects who you are and what you stand for.
I wasn't sure about the Iggy, that's why I didn't mention it as fact. It did have great color though!
I also do understand how it can be receiving tons of emails. It is hard to tell by an email if someone is an experienced, serious herper/breeder/collector or a young amateur who's collecting pictures and wasting your time (believe me, i've had my fair share of those..).

Neither Brian Conley or anybody else tells me to drop it. I don't think any other member would appreciate being told what to do by another member who doesn't have the story correct in the first place.

Scott, that is who the "drop it" was addressed to. I had/have no problem w/ you or the way you've handled the situation. YOU stood your ground, accepted a apoligy, got your money refunded, and moved on. YOU are the person who had the problem. YOU say when it's over. YOU have/had, yet they were still bashing the hell out of this guy. That's why I to THEM to drop it.
