    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Tim - if you'd sent the original order as planned, you wouldn't have had the $75 to begin with.... this isn't entirely Joseph's fault. As you stated in your emails, he has a pregnant girlfriend, and works long hours. If he doesn't have $75, he doesn't have $75 - kinda like you??? so it's not so unbelievable. Quit acting as if you're the only one that had something inconvenient happen
 
No this isn't meeting in the middle at all tim not at all. You come up with something better than what you are deviating right now.

I gave him several chances. He kept pushing it the first night I gave him until 12:00 just to contact me. That was the DAY he was supposed to pay. I'm sorry I know it's splitting hairs but contacting me at 12:08AM Saterday is not Friday. I then felt like he was just being an ass waiting until 12:08 to saw oh I forgot, or and I don't have it. So I didn't think he would have it again. Look HE DOESN'T.

YOUR daughter let out HIS tegu after YOU received HIS three carpets?? and YOU could have made HIM wait while YOU had another shipped?? where were you gonna get the money for that?????

So on an assumption, you wrote a bad guy thread. You had options... no title... inquiry... info... all those options.. and you chose BAD GUY... LOL. All on a hunch....

Listen lets just work this out now I cant wait until friday. I have to have something on my table I paid $30 for it. I have to place the order tonight to get anything by friday. I can't even order WC stuff because I can't treat it in time. If you can't get the money now could you please just send back the B&W. When you can afford one I will still sell you another or even a pair at a good price. I will even pay for shipping and email the label tonight.

Actully I can make the order tomorrow at the latest. So, if you can do it by then or send it back it would be great.


Those were my PMs to him. I don't see any other way to meet in the middle. He said friday and didn't have it. Then he says Saterday and then sunday, with nothing. Now you say Next friday. I say meeting in the middle would be have the money to me by tomorrow or ship them back would be in the middle. But I am willing to let his just send back one tegu or both. I see lots of options for you and only one for me one your end.
 
How is that a hunch he had three chances and nothing. I have seen no attempts on his end to help the matter.So I'm on the do not buy from list because I said I could have done that and didn't. That's cool I wouldn't sell to you any way you seem hard to please also.

Hard to please? Hardly...

That said, because you don't want to lose $30 on a table, you want Joseph to be out 3 carpet pythons AND the shipping to send them AND the shipping to send back a tegu that was part of the original trade for the carpets AND the tegu itself... do you see why he might not see that as fair?
 
I said nothing about next Friday this Friday is what I said. I'm telling you how do I know you are going to give me a good deal. I'm trying to pay you the 75 dollars and you keep refusing I can only pay on Friday I don't even have a box for the tegu to ship back I can't do that at all.... you could be cooking up something that I don't know about for all I know I could send it back and u sell me absolutley nothing you could be thinkin karma is a umpf right now for all I kno. Must I say again you say you want to meet in the middle but that's not to me.
 
All he will be out is original shipping cost. I will be out shipping both ways and I offered to pay half the original if he wants to just trade back because I would have to ship back as well.

What happened to the box I sent you. I am a man of my word and I will promise right here and now I will hook you up again if you make this right. I don't want to damage my name by lying. I want you to come back and buy one and post a good guy next time. I just want this to end. I will personally make another thread explaining what went on here if you make it right. So, when people search you name they will see the other one also.

the original trade as I understand it was:

1.2 carpets + shipping for 2 tegus + shipping

what happened was

1.2 carpets + shipping for 2 different types of tegus + shipping and $75 in contention

Joseph has agreed to pay the $75 on the 14th.

You're saying that now, you want to undo the deal to have made it:

1.2 carpets + 1/2 shipping for tegu originally not agreed upon

so... he's out a tegu and he's out 3 carpet pythons... I guess only Joseph can say if that's fair or not, but I don't blame him for deciding he'd rather just pay the $75 on the 14th...

Out of curiousity, whatever happened to the tegu your daughter let out?!?!? surely you searched for and located it?? can't you now sell that?? Also, if it got out, why didn't you just wait till the next day after finding it, and ship out the original two?
 
No you are misunderstanding. First off he originally wanted just the red tegu that's why I offered it. I can show you the email. Secondly I offered to pay the entire shipping cost if he wants to send just the B&W back. I then said if he wanted to trade Back which would be me shipping again I would refund half of the original shipping cost. How is that not fair?

For one I never found it. I have dogs. I assume they got it, On top of that he didn't want to wait for another one to arrive because I already had the red and could ship that day.

originally he wanted the red tegu, but the ultimate DEAL was for two black and white tegus, which you were unable to fulfill... so you're asking him to give back the only one of the TWO you were supposed to send... see why he may not want to do that???
