In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Kathy Weeks has sticky fingers - Thief

You know, that is just WRONG. I'm sure we have been to an expo where we saw an animal and thought, "I wonder how easy it would be to just grab it and get away with it..." but thinking about taking something and actually doing it are completely different things. I myself would much rather try and talk them down on the price, and if it doesn't work then I wasn't meant to have the animal. This sickens me!

I personally have not thought about how easy it is to just grab it and get away with it... doesnt speak highly of someone's character that they would even THINK like that... If I don't have the money for something, I would save up and buy it the right way..

I think I've said it before in this thread, but you're taking a pretty big leap by questioning someone's character for noticing how easy it would be to swipe a really expensive gecko at a show. I think it every time I go to a show, not because I want to do it but because I wonder how crazy a lot of vendors must be to just have thousands of dollars worth of merchandise just sitting there while people crowd around all over the place. I can't imagine most selling venues being set up like many show tables are.

I wouldn't in my wildest dreams swipe an animal from a table, but I think about how easy it would be every single show many times. Take what you will from that.

Uh, no? Being able to evaluate potentail dangers doesn't imply anything about my moral character, thanks.

When I was the president of a club in So.Cal. we hosted a show every year. I would walk the floor and look for ways to make it easy for a thief and then talk to the vendor about better ways to protect their inventory.

We are, for the most part, a self policed industry. As a vendor myself, I would appreciate that same help from others. Yes it does speak of my character.
