• In the past two days I have gotten emails asking about being requested to provide credit card info in order to register and also to make a post in the classifieds forums. PLEASE NOTE: In no instance will this site ask you for this sort of information. The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. Anything else is coming from a source other than this site. My guess is that this is coming through Google Adsense, but when I can get someone to send me a screen shot of this sort of request, I will know more.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Well against my gut instinct we sent her some money for 20 adult female ball pythons. She was easy to get a hold of and reach when she wanted our money. We sent it through PayPal and went right away and then boom like someone flipped a switch.

I then paid her after i had her change the paypal request stating that we were getting 20 adult female ball pythons before she just put that we were getting some ball pythons. I had requested to talk to her on the phone and called numerous times leaving a couple messages and nothing, I sent another email asking her to call me.

"I will snap some pictures for you when I go back from work. I can ship Monday for Tuesday then.

Then there was a bunch of emails that went unanswered and no response on telephone like before and then I got this email

That last email was recieved on Sunday. Now i haven't heard a word from her at all since and have even had a couple of buddies of mine from out of state try to reach her. I am hoping that this is big misunderstanding but if you sell something to someone you might want to at least communicate with them and set a date to ship and not keep putting it off and changing it and all that.

Anyone with some help or is in that area would be much appreciated. I am working with PayPal, my bank and Visa on this matter as well as contacted the authorities for the area that she is in

Matthew, sorry to hear you are in this position. I felt this women was full of BS from the word go in the other thread. Now I believe any doubt that may have lingered has been removed.
 
Dang, sorry to hear of your situation....but I feel the need to ask, if you knew enough to come to the BOI and post this, why on earth didn't you do a search on her here first???

You know, at one point I ALMOST (stress on the almost) felt sorry for "Katie" or whoever she actually is for her getting allegedly screwed over by that Harrison guy, but the more a person hears about her, the more you have to think at the very least she's no better than him... :uzi:

You HAVE to do searches on people. I learned this with Mike Clark and Katie was added to my "Do not do business" list along with Harrison, because they are all major DEADBEATS!! Special places for them with somebody waiting to see them :dgrin:

You may have an avenue with your state attorney general's office as well as with your local law enforecment (which I saw you have already involved). Let us know how it works out.

Matthew, Regardless of what you didn't do as far as doing a search on Katie that's history now. At this point contact Paypal and report fraud so they freeze her funds until you either receive the animals or get a refund. I personally would insist on the refund because she was suppose to ship and disappeared. I doubt she has the animals or is looking for them now at best. I wouldn't want them from her anyway. There are plenty of reputable sellers to deal with. Contact Paypal and file a complaint NOW!

I did do a search on her name and didn't come up and then i had heard that some people had recieved some animals so i thought ok even though instinct said otherwise. I have already started something with PayPal and others too.

Any other advice would be helpful also

Enough!!

OK ladies and gentlemen. I have had enough. As you all are aware I got ripped for 35oo from her harrison or who ever. You also are aware that I came to her aid when this all started. I also told you if I felt she was not for real that my rage would overwelm all of you combined. :hot:

It is time, As a "supporter of hers" she was "going" to make it good. I communicated w/ Katies early this week. She informed me she was going to put up another add. I said befor you do llet me get any large females. Not a word.

I also told her earlier, that "if" I felt this was a scam and "if" she was involved I would do everything possible to have her put in jail. I meant that.

I have paper work from her/harrison and I have some of the "alleged hets"

Lets put our money ware our mouth is and prosicute the two of them.

I hope she looks good in stripes :raspberry

Something that a few of us caught

A few of us caught something that we cannot outright confirm. So we may need some help. Did anyone else notice that Harrisons Documents are extremely similar to Bearded Pets Documents? I think it's a good possiblity that there could be a connection. Several months ago I saw some Bearded Pets documents and could almost swear they are the same, but I honestly don't remember exactly what they looked like, does anyone have some they can share? Obviously the Male "Morphs" in the Harrison Documents are really not Morphs, at least the Pied and the Clown Documents that I received (see blown up photos on the Harrison thread) so I asked Katie how she could have seen true hets when the ones on the paperwork aren't even real, of course I have not heard back from her. I don't feel that she gave a true representation of the snakes at all, luckily, I didn't loose as much as some, but it's enought to have become perterbed by her lack of response.

I expect them to be nothing but healthy, feeding, normal female snakes as guaranteed by Katie. If they turn out to be hets, then great, if not, no money, time or sweat lost and who can't use a few extra females in their projects!

Also a phone number listed at the address as well. I called it and asked for Katie a lady picked up the phone and said, hmmmmm, you have the the wrong number.
