Marcia and Kelli were originally banned from Fauna because they made a mistake of publicly criticizing Rich and Lucille on a completely different forum that happened to belong to Kelli. Rich banned them the second time because he accused them of deliberately creating a boycott from Fauna, which is nonsense.

Besides, what does any of this beating a dead horse have to do with Kelli being a good-gal, or the fact that Bruce allowed several geckos to die needlessly because he wouldn't answer the door when they were delivered?

Marcia and Kelli were originally banned because they publicly criticized anyone. The original ban came about because they, while moderators on this site, took it upon themselves to mock not only Rich, but many members here. Only the intentionally obtuse would interpret what was said as "criticism." Much of what was said was nothing short of malicious, to include sexual jokes and innuendos.

Criticism is welcome. As has been said, however, what was posted on the "other site" didn't qualify as criticism by even a stretch of the imagination. It had also been stated that the forum where the malicious postings were made was never intended for public view. As such, we got to see the true face of some people rather than the act they put on when they think someone else is watching.

Call me silly, but if I trust a person and invite them into my house, only for them to later stab me in the back, talk about how much they detest me, and whatnot- that invitation is going to be removed. In this instance, trust was placed in certain individuals, and they betrayed that trust. As such, welcomes were worn.

Okay, I realized that I need to clarify something here...

My above comments were not so much directed at Kelli as they were other individuals, and I do still hold Kelli in high regards on both personal and professional levels.

I still feel as though the unfortunate situation involving Kelli and Rich was not directly the fault of either party. It came at a time when emotions were running high and were easily manipulated by those looking to create strife where there previously was none. In short, the whole fiasco was orchestrated by outside parties on both sides of the fence. I say this as someone who was able to take a step back and look at the whole mess objectively over the course of the past year since my involvement in herpetoculture has been minimal due to more pressing issues.

My own take on it is that what transpired between Kelli and Rich was a tragic series of misunderstandings between two individuals that may have worked itself out were it not for the manipulation by third parties that desired only to further their own agendas.

People react in predictable ways when they've been hurt, and the emotional wounds ran deep here (obviously deeper for some than others). Unfortunately, there were those that didn't want resolution and moved in to pick at the wounds. Knowing what I do, I can say that those third parties have accomplished what they set out to do, and that two very good people have been caused a great deal of pain.

While I have more thoughts about that matter, I'll just leave it at that since this has gotten far enough off-topic as it is and those who have "picked sides" are not likely to be swayed anyways. Let's try and bring it back to a friendly discussion of Kelli's business ethics, okay folks?

About that, I'll say this much- I have never had any qualms about referring anyone looking for a more than fair deal on high quality, honestly represented animals to Kelli and Steve.

I believe the albino emoryi you purchased from me in 98 or 99 (it's been awhile) was sold to you as a cross (not pure emoryi). I purchased the animal from Don Soderburg as a cross for $500. As I recall, you paid $250 for the animal; the low price was due to the fact that it was not pure emoryi. I heard nothing from you about anything until after Kelli and I got married and she helped me get back on my feet with HISS. All of the sudden, out of the blue, you sent me rude emails demanding animals we had for sale at the time, claiming that I lied to you about the emoryi being pure. We disagreed on that fact, and of course we always will.

As for my wife, yes, I am sure she was nothing but polite to you, despite the fact that you told her her husband is a piece of crap. Kelli is an intelligent person and knows better though.

Price isn'tr relevant: neither what I paid or what you paid. Don was selling the pure ones for $500 at that time, so you paid less for the hybrid. I know this, and you know that. Heck, it doesn't matter. I don't care if you got the animal for free. I don't care if you sold it to me for $1. You had it listed as an emoryi and sold it to me under the belief that it was pure - and you did nothing about it! My first emails were polite - you ignored them, too. I had to get rude to get you to reply once you got back in the "business." You ignored me until I made a complaint against you with kingsnake.com, didn't you? Does that sound like a respectable business to you?

Have you ever sold any other hybrids as pure and contributed to pollution of the gene captive gene pool? I'm not accusing - I'm asking.
