Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

You are only allowed four lines of text. You have five lines. Blank lines count. IT IS IN THE RULES. You don't want him to seem biased about it do you? You're not the first to get warning points for it. If he didn't give them to you someone else that got them would come crying about it.

I have also warned Neil Nubitz for it. I remember doing it because he got a little bent out of shape over it.

When you have a crystal ball that allows me to know the entire content of every single post made, let me know. Until then, if you are not reporting the offending posts when you see them, you have no reason to complain.

I still find it entirely flabergasting that members here still believe or expect that three moderators and one administrator should read every single post made. Even if I did this as a full time job, there wouldn't be enough time to do it. And quite frankly, not everything you all post interests me enough to read it.

I am not sure what you are referring to at all. What I am referring to is what many have brought up in this thread. The ego that rules this site and bans good, contributing members for what amounts to nothing. Rich and the mods can certainly dish it out but god forbid they get questioned or taken to task. So sad...

I know they are, and quite frankly I had planned on waiting a few days in order to allow things to cool off a bit before posting something or calling you about this. However, I was becoming increasingly concerned that things were going to get further out of hand, and that people were going to continue to say hurtful things to the point that things might become completely irreconcilable.

Rich, be objective. Look past your own emotions. Kelli does not hate you. She did not have any intention of doing you or this site harm. She did not (and does not) have an "agenda." She had been thinking about starting a website for a long time, and when she got her feeling hurt it served as the impetus for her to move forward with her idea. However, there is absolutely no reason at all why the two websites can't compliment one another. Nor, that she couldn't be an asset to both.

Emotions are tricky things, and quite frankly they usually defy logic. Kelli has been emotional because she thought that you slighted a memorial to her son. You are now emotional because of the hurt caused by things that were said about you. However, by and large the most hurtful things said about you were not said by Kelli, but rather by people who sought to "pile on" when they saw a feeding frenzy taking place...screw them. You've seen their types here all too often in the past...and you'll continue to see them in the future.

Rich, apologize to Kelli. Not because you necessarily meant to say anything wrong, but what you said did hurt her...whether you meant for it to or not. (Lest we forget, emotional reactions don't usually follow logic...and as far as I'm concerned, Kelli deserves more consideration on this sort of thing, with what she's been through, than anyone else on this forum...especially considering what the comments were about.) Explain to her what you meant...but most importantly apologize.

Kelli, apologize to Rich. What you said was hurtful. Did you have the right to say it? Yes. BUT... was it right to say? No. Especially, since you were a mod on Rich's site. I know that you were venting your hurt feelings, and that explains your actions...but that doesn't make it right. Tell Rich how you feel, tell him the things that you've told me...but most importantly apologize.

For God's sake...just talk it out. I know you both, and your both better than this garbage that's going on between the two of you. Just put the hurt feelings aside long enough to open the dialogue between you...the rest will work itself out. I know you both well enough that I say this with a great deal of confidence. :)
 
Rich, I seriously hope you take a couple of days away from this website and then come back and re-read everything here with a fresh set of eyes. You are allowing some people* to run off members. And you yourself seem to be trying your hardest to empty out the place of anyone who seems to disagree with you. It is a shame that a simple post that shows a PAYING MEMBER disagrees with the services offered is met with a condescending and utterly stupid** reply.

I suggest you go read some more around this site. Rich, myself, and the others mods get "questioned or taken to task" all the time. It does NOT mean we have to agree with every single opinion thrown at us. Why is that so hard for people to understand?

Rich has already explained his actions for this incident. Right, wrong, indifferent, wether you agree or not, it is his decision to make. Harping about it only gets EVERYONE more worked up and angry. Honestly, what good will come of it?

How about maybe it spurs Rich to think about his attitude towards people and start acting like a human being. Even one of his mods (who I rarely agree with) suggests he apologize but Rich's wounds are too deep? What about Kelli's wounds?

Now that is more about the single issue at hand.

My posts had been more of a generalization of current and past attitudes.

That very well could be true. But I suggest that if you were running this site, you would be in the same basket or would have thrown up your hands in disgust and frustration and shut it down long ago. Most psychological ailments are a product of the environment the mind is subjected to. This is a particularly harsh environment for anyone trying to keep the site from going into complete chaos. People say they want stricter rules to keep out the garbage even when it turns out they are the worst offenders. People want a gentler more kinder way of letting people know they are violating the rules, which the warning system does (rather then just flat out suspending or banning someone) and yet people will hold a grudge FOREVER when they get a warning point for blatant profanity or derogatory comments.

For instance right now it is apparent that a lot of people are trying real hard to be able to carry the pennant "I HAVE BEEN BANNED FROM FAUNACLASSIFIEDS!!". So this is now a goal of some of you "sane" people here?

If it is insanity to not understand that logic, then yep, I am insane.
