Back in June I finished paying off a 2009 0.1 Mötley het anery originally produced by Jermey Stone From Kevin Gilbert of KG constrictors. He missed the first ship date because he was out of town for work. He missed the second ship date because he said UPS never showed up to pick up the package (he was still out of town for work an had arranged for his girlfriend to have her ready to ship). On the day she was supposed to arrive on the third attempt I received a text message of a picture of the Mötley I purchased being bred by one of his males. Needless to say I was upset and asked for a refund. I gave him every chance to make good on the deal until I had to open a claim on PayPal. Being that I had a one month payment plan on her and he missed 3 ship dates I could only get half of the $800 back I paid for her. He promised and swore he would refund the rest. He has since stopped answering any texts and flat out ignoring me. I doubt I'll receive the other $400 but I'll be contacting the authorities in his home town for what it's worth. I HIGHLY recommend NEVER doing business with him, he is a liar and a scammer. Hopefully this saves anyone else from the headache I've gone through in the past 2 months.

I can honestly say I've never had an issue with him at all. I've ordered from him on 3 different occasions. And I received my animals healthy, safe and as described. He even made videos and took multiple pictures when asked. I understand being frustrated about shipping and I can't add to that aspect, but I can say he's always been stand up with me.

All I've ever heard is good about him....until now obviously. I checked the BOI before the purchase and he only has good guy threads. That's why I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt, but it's gone on long enough he's had more than enough time to make it right. I have not notified him about this thread but it's been going on over two months and he knows of all the posts on Facebook in boa groups and the BOI and FBI groups there.

I have been breeding and selling boas for 10 years and have hundreds of satisfied and happy customers and great references.
I received a couple of deposits on the snake and then did not hear from him for some time until he paid the snake off. I gave him a discounted price on the snake without him having to ask. After a complication on shipping he decided he no longer wanted the snake and asked for a refund. Life happens and I do not do this for a living and was out of town and left shipping to a friend.
I had already spent his 800 and told him I could offer him a baby arabesque jungle right away which is worth 1300 mind you. He declined. I told him I was recently laid off from my full time job and was trying to start my own business and it would take some time to refund the funds. I went along with the paypal dispute to help him receive his 400.00 as fast as possible. He said that he could not recoup 400 of the 800 via paypal due to how much time had gone by and said "I guess you win." To that I responded no...I am not going to screw you out of your 400 but I need some time.
I had several other people who wanted and were ready to buy that Motley and saved it for him and was patient. I often send snakes ahead of time without them even being paid for. I recently sent someone a free 2009 breedable male super salmon to make up for a baby that lost a hemipene. I will refund his 400 and never planned on not refunding it. I have been trying to gather up the extra funds to clear the books on our deal and unfortunately maybe all the bad posts he describes are the reason why I haven't been able to sell a few remaining babies to pay him off.
I sold the 2009 breedable pastel Motley for half price due to some immediate financial needs. The new owner says it is the nicest pastel he has ever seen.

I don't sell snakes expecting people to back out. I also agreed to refund all 800 and not keep 25% of the deposit like my terms clearly say. I have lots of breeder friends who have kept lots of money due to people backing out.
I am sorry if he feels I was out to scam him, I am not like that at all and in the 10 years I have been selling snakes, he is the first person to make such an accusation.
This is all I will say on the subject.

I don't want to sound like a cheerleader, but I must add some more. I am the person Kevin gave a 2009 super salmon to as stated in his post. He has always been there to help and answer questions, he even talked to his vet to see what I could do for my baby. He always has given lower prices and has been honest about everything. It's unfortunate you feel this way but he did offer solution and did say he was going to get you the rest of the money. I don't feel a bad guy thread was warranted. Things happen, it's life, I'm sure he would have gotten the boa shipped to you perfect and all. He seems and I'm sure he was 100% willing to work with you and fix it all.

We agreed on a 30 day payment plan and YOU sir gave me $100 off without me even asking. I paid her off within the 30days also. I sent a $200 deposit and a week later I sent another $200 so I'm not sure why you're saying you hadn't heard from me. You missing 3 ship dates and then having a male in with the female I had already paid for is why I wanted a refund not because I wanted to back out. why would I?? I already had her paid in full! I bought her to breed with one of my males, if she possibly could have been gravid it defeated the purpose. As far as the Arab jungle goes I will hopefully be producing hypo Arab motley jungles next year so I had no reason to want your replacement snake. (which you had for sale at $800 not $1300) Don't try and turn the tables here the fact is you spent the money on a snake I had paid for AND put a male in with her. I understand you were laid off and had some troubles that's why I've been patient but you flat out refusing to respond the last 2 weeks is what brought this on. I still have screen shots of every text between us which I will upload when I'm home if I have to. Sorry it came to this man but I had no other choice.

Kevin, regardless of the people that will say that you shouldn't have spent the money until the buyer was satisfied I understand that things happen and it's easy to get in a bind financially. What I can't understand is why you would possibly put a male in with his female. Did you really do that?

right lets move this along, can either of you supply:

Transaction reciepts - if done via paypal it should all be in the history and have dates for a time line

Picture - the one you said he sent you showing him breeding the female you wanted

Emails/facebooks/text etc.

I have a feeling that this isn't what you are attempting to make it. From your pictures and texts, Kevin has stated that he is going to return the money to you. He has offered a solution, he is refunding everything instead of holding a 25% non refundable deposit, and remaining in contact. He even offered a free snake to you!!

Saying "that's awesome" was obviously taken the wrong way. my thoughts when receiving the text when I woke for work were...wow that's awesome he's courting her.. but why is he even in with her? mind you this is after 2 missed shipped dates and on the third attempt I woke up the morning of to a picture of this... what would have to say to that? I was first confused and dumfounded why she would even be with a male and had no idea what to respond with. While most of you know sarcasm does not carry over well in texts. And Edwin he offered me a "free snake" that I did not want I paid for a Motley female NOT a Jungle Arabesque. By "attempting to make it" what does that mean? I'm attempting to get a refund for a snake I paid for and never received. Why is this confusing? I will post texts between us leaving out parts about other parties Kevin wouldn't want posted on a public forum (as well as the other party) and also texts of us just chatting which are irrelevant.

Also why in the world should I not be entitled to the deposit? The deal gone bad was in know way my fault. So you're saying I should lose $200 because he missed ship dates, spent my money before the deal was finalized, AND had a male in with her? I don't understand that logic. Also he has NOT kept in contact with me the last two weeks and has made no effort what so ever to refund me anything put what I could get back from Paypal. I made me first payment on May 16th and my final payment on June 21st. So this has been going on since then.
