    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

He brought his lawyer into this with threats to sue, of course im going to consult mine if he is threatening to sue me.

When you called did you ask him if he said he would send me a replacement female? If so what did he say?

I am a bit offended by your idea that i would switch animals on him, I am far from a shady dealer.

Whats wrong with people not seeing my animals in person? I dont do many shows, and I dont let many people in my home.

What is his side? I see a major holes, being he said he would send me a replacement and has not.

If he has all this free time to tell people on the phone what's going on, why doesn't he come here and answer the questions that have been left for him?

Funny how I see things pretty clearly as well and yet have a different view of the situation. Of course, I guess I must have "tude" as well then?
 
As I have stated in previous threads, I am not in the habit of putting what I hear on the BOI or what people email me. Its just a me thing. I would give that respect to most anyone.
I am however, fairly confident that when the time is right and all is said and done that they will post. Who knows maybe they take their business and what is posted about them seriously. Go figure.
 
well im not gonna speak for robbie he assured me that he would post when he could,,,,and steve im glad you have a different viewpoint than i and NO that does mean you have the "tude" i do not lable someone with a "tude" just for dissagreeing,,anyway i beleive this will all come out and be resolved in the near future ,,, thomas davis T&S reptile farm;)

I find it VERY funny how someone will post repeatedly negative, mean, harsh comments about someone on this REPTILE related forum, and then sign it with their name AND reptile business name. If you want to be a jack----, fine, but do you really think after reading your negative posts, with your poor attitude, that anyone on here would want to do business with you. Look at Neil, and what happened to him....

To everyone on this board,

Apparently, many of you have been anticipating my response to Corey's claims. I must say that this thread was brought to my attention a few days ago, and I initially chimed in to clear things up. After my brief comments, I just didn't think it was necessary to follow up.

After receiving calls from many of you, I now see the need to explain further. When I first saw this thread (I am not an active member here, but will probably become one, as this site is fun and informative), I must say that I was very disappointed. Corey, in his very first statement alleged that I "sell under other names on other classified sites." Is he kidding? I barely can use the computer, or the internet for that matter. My great wife, Michelle, does most of the emailing and responding on my behalf, and does use my "signature". She is very responsible and has dealt with people like Corey in the past. Me, well, I can surely say that my experience with Corey has been memorable. I can't think of a customer who has been more rude and immature. He has no patience and jumps to conclusions at the drop of a dime. I think my observations have been confirmed in the last few days on this board.

Yes, Corey did threaten to call the USPS and allege fraud. This was VERY early on in his dispute. I must say that I thought he was being silly and just trying to threaten me in order to get his female, which he already had. For the record, He did indeed order 2.2. For the record, we sent him 2.2, let's all get that strait. We had 3 clutches of eggs. We sold 1.1 prior to Corey's transaction, and have very recently followed up with our customer, who confirms that he got 1.1 and is very pleased. Please don't ask who it is, as I won't disclose that information. We only had the 2.2 left, which were sold to Corey. Do I have proof? No. I can only say that I am 100% positive we sent 2.2,as they were probed by myself. It was when the snakes were first purchased as sub-adults that I had trouble probing one of them.

When Corey called me and continued his threats, he happened to catch me as I was on my way out the door for dinner, something I rarely get to do with the little ones running around. About a minute into the conversation, I couldn't take it anymore, and said to Corey, "fine, just send me back the damn snake and when I get it, I'll find you a female," and simply hung up on him. What I should have said was ”send me the snake and I’ll give you your $75 back,” and hung up on him. He had a way of wearing on me. Like nails on a chalk-board.

That's exactly what happened, in a nutshell. I personally got eggs from all three pairs I had including the ones Corey bought. That is why I was very firm with him in the beginning about our policy. Some of you may think my policy on returns is unreasonable, but it is very standard in this industry. I would also like to point out that Corey keeps referring to them as Tangerine Hondurans and they were never said to be or listed as such, they were and as far as I know always have been Honduran milk snakes, If he would like to call them tangerine Hondurans then they are the ugliest tangerines I have ever seen.

Even so, I buckled and gave him the option to send the snake back, against my better judgment. I truly do want to make all of my customers happy, no matter what it takes sometimes. You should all know that the snake was never sent back to me. You gotta wonder why he never returned it....who knows. After time, I started ignoring him. I promise he will deny this, I'd expect nothing less from him. It's that simple.

About my lawyer, yes, I called him when I saw that Corey stated I had a "long criminal record with notes such as "maximum risk". I must say that his statement was meant only to slander me and bait me. Well, it worked. I was very upset as I have no criminal record for pete's sake. Well, at least I thought I didn't, and not very sure to this day if I do. Yes, I've had some small matters in my life. I must stress....SMALL. In the last 10 years, I was brought into court on Town violations that may be misdemeanors? Not quite sure. Please allow me to describe my incidents.

First, I had to answer a charge regarding my pet cougars. Yes, I have cougars, and a bunch of other amazing creatures. Anyhow, it turned out that I had to bring my cougars up before the permit arrived for the new property. Man, if that's a crime, then so be it. I fixed the issues and paid a small fine In court. Another one pertained to a permitted employee of ours who was bitten by a venomous snake of mine while helping me by packing all my animals up while I was purchasing my farm. I admitted my fault and ended up having to donate $200 to a non-profit organization. They called it a "compromise". I was very happy at the outcome, and a side note the person bit is and has been a very good friend for many years. Secondly, I was cited because my marsh wall was not extended one or two feet higher (can't remember). This was the wall surrounding my alligator marsh. Needless to say, I went to court and was given the chance to extend, which I obviously did. The revised law was only couple weeks old and I needed to do it anyway. Well, small fine paid there too. I guess that may have been a crime too, not quite sure. Not concerned either. Won't effect me at all.

I must say that I've had a couple other matters over the years, but ALL of them have been dismissed and sealed. I can't even remember what some were about. I'm a former Rock-n-Roller, and "small" things have happened. I must say again, they were ALL dismissed and sealed (as far as I know), so I won't even mention them again. What I will say, is that none of my incidents have anything to do with my industry, or theft, drugs, you name it. Just stupid kid stuff. There's my big "MAXIMUM RISK" history. Take it for what it's worth.

It is obvious that Corey's intent was to only smear my name and create a negative impact on me and my business. As you can see, some users here have written that they won't buy things from me now. I'm glad to see that many of you here (not all of you though) have insisted on more proof. I really am a nice guy and in my business, pleasing the customer is number one. I tried to do that here too.

That is why my attorney was called. What Corey did was libelous and slanderous. It directly effected my business. I have a family to feed to pete's sake. Like I'm gonna risk my reputation for this kid? No way. But he had to make some reckless stupid comments and then even have the audacity to post my "record" on the internet. Yes Corey, I am aware of it and have copies of it too. As you know, what you did may be criminal in many states and it's totally traceable to you. You have been extremely irresponsible on this site and should have your membership yanked. In my eyes, you are a disgrace to this site, which is an invaluable source to most of the others. Will I sue you?, I'm gonna seriously think about it. Perhaps a public apology for your reckless conduct, despite whether you think you are right or wrong may mend things here. You crossed the line.

So, this is my dispute to Corey's claim. He says earlier that if he doesn't get what he wants by August, he'll be stopping by. I encourage him to visit me, seriously. He won't be getting a penny back, and I'll never do business with him again. I'm sure he won't do business with me too, no skin off my back. Not to beat a dead horse, but Corey is the kind of kid that would hit himself in the arm and blame it on his sister.

By the way, Michelle helped me write this. I normally can't write this well, and wasn't able to edit my previous post because I'm a newbie here. Hopefully, my status will be elevated as I use this site more in the future.

Just my 2 cents. I look foward to getting advice and input in the future from many of you.

As I know neither Corey or Robbie and Michelle nor have dealt with them, I would tend to say this is a he said she said based thread.
If I had need of something Kez was selling I would still buy from them.
There is nothing either way from either party of proof. Both parties as I have talked to both seem nice enough to me.
I hope this thread could be known as the lesson to be learned thread.
One: Do not accuse unless you have proof
Two: Do not air laundry that may be construed as worse than what it really is to gain
Three: Most important one, HAVE OR GET GREAT RECORD KEEPING SKILLS :D

Its sad that I will now have to take pics proving sex, and get vet checks, even if someone agrees to replace the animal(s) in question. I guess thats why they say "trust in no one".

At NO point did you tell me to send it back, we agreed that I would send it back when you had a female for me. You didnt simply hang up on me, we spoke for about 15 minutes. And of course waiting 6 months is having no patience.

Yes i threatened to submit a fraud report, only after I was told I could buy another one.

When does a female probe 8 scales deep? Why did you tell me you had trouble sexing one of the "females", but then say your 100% sure on the sex?

You do have a criminal record, call and request a copy.

I will apologize and retract my comments when you send me a female honduran. Simple and plain.

I have done nothing illegal, maybe the criminal record thing was petty, but so is having to wait 6+ months for a replacement.

(btw im sure your lawyer can tell you this, but slander is spoken word.)

Is there any point for this even continuing on the BOI?
 
Let's see here...... Robbie, do you by chance have any pictures of the snakes you sold to Corey? Corey, could you post pics of the snakes being probed? And Corey, is there any chance that you just pushed to hard and went into the tail of what may be a female? Unlikely, but possible.

Now that Robbie has spoken, so to speak, and told us his side, I must say he comes of as a reasonable person. And all this for a 75.00 snake is somewhat unreasonable. Pictures would go a long way at this point.

Personally, if either of these two guys had something I was interested in, I would buy it. Maybe you guys should just shake hands, agree on what to do about the snake in question and move on. Now that I've heard Robbie's side that sounds like the best thing to do. If there is no pictoral evidence from either of you then this remains a he said she said and may never be resolved.

I really hope you can work this out.

That is if you feel like keeping this going or just taking in a learning lesson and letting it go.

It was good to see that you took the time to address these issues. I have no idea which of you is right, but it seems that one of you has to be wrong. That snake is either a proven female or it is not; given what has been stated, there is no other option.

While I was not impressed with Corey's having posted about your alleged criminal record, there is one thing you left off of your list of "mea culpas." It is a crime to ship snakes via USPS. Perhaps you did not know that, but, if so, ignorance of something as basic as that is somewhat telling of a shipper, in my opinion. If you did know that this was illegal, then you were knowingly in violation of the law, and that tells me even more.

All of this back and forth about the sexing of the snake has been interesting, but not very fruitful. I really don't know how to settle the issue. However, for you suggest that you did NOTHING wrong here is just ignoring a very basic part of the transaction, which was accomplished in an illegal manner. Maybe that's another issue you should address with your attorney?
 
If Corey attempted to buy 2.2, then wanted to trade a female for a male so he would HAVE 2.2, and all 4 snakes are still healthy (Corey, is this true?)

WHAT IS COREY'S MOTIVATION FOR THIS IF NOT TO JUST GET THE SNAKES HE WANTED AND PAID FOR???

How could this situation be construed as Corey trying to scam? Everyone keeps talking about it being a he said/he said, but Robbie is the only one that could be coming out ahead on this deal.

Robbie, unless Corey can make your snake change sex, what do you have to lose? Give him a female Honduran that he is assured is female, and take back the one that you're certain is female. No harm, no foul.
