Everyone is talking about Corey's Tude and his Motivation and his jumping the gun. If he jumped the gun ...........why did he wait six months before posting? Jumping the gun would have meant he posted without giving the other party time to make things right.
If he had other motivations...why did he wait six months to post?

I honestly believe this thread would not be here if a female was sent to replace the male. That is all you gotta do. Send him a female to replace the male. I do not think it is too late for anyone on this thread. Corey just wants his female. Robbie just wants to protect his business. But sending a female to replace the male will 1. Not hurt anyone. 2. Make everyone happy. a. Corey will be happy. b. People will see that Robbie would do the right thing and do business with him.

2. The word LONG is rather objective. To some of us....three things in your record makes it long. To others it means youare a Saint.

3. You are saying that you are suing because he "directly affected your business". To win this case you also gotta prove through numbers that your business has "suffered" or has been affected.

HE posted PUBLIC record on the INTERNET. He got your PUBLIC record on the INTERNET. Can you tell me how is it illegal to post something on the internet that is already there?

Also you may be able to say that in some states posting public record is illegal. I just want to remind you that in YOUR state it is NOT illegal. Because your STATE helped it publishing it. YOUR STATE made it available for internet publication.

So enough with the suing stuff. You are just gonna waste your money.

Just let the guy send his snake back. And if it does turn out to be female. Replace it anyway but have him pay for all shipping. If it is a male and you made a mistake......You get to pay for all shipping.


Going to the vet to submit burden of proof on the sex of a $75 snake is a wee bit too much. Who here would send a $75 dollar snake to the vet to be sexed so that it can be replaced by the dealer that missexed it? Besides Thomas Davis.

I would still buy or sell to Corey.
But I will not buy or sell to someone who won't replace a mis sexed snake and neither will a lot of people. So in my humble opinion....just send him the snake and exchange it with the other one.

If Rob KNOWS that animal is female, then why not get another female to trade Corey back for this female? He would not be out anything as he can sell the "proven female" again for another $75. And if he KNOWS that the one Corey has is female, anyway...

Also, another point of confusion/contension, if Robbie KNEW for a FACT that he sent Corey a proven 2.2, #1, why did he have to probe them in the first place, and #2, when he DID probe out the 2 "proven females," why did he have trouble probing one of them?

Also, Robbie, if your other customer recieved the other 1.1 and was happy with them, why not let us know who it is? I would think they would make a good reference, wouldn't you? Or at least offer them the opportunity to post their very pleasant experience with you here on the BOI by sending them this link? Happy customers shouldn't have a problem being used as a reference I would think.

And of course, there is that whole nasty little shipping snakes through the USPS thing. Hmmm... federal crime I think(I'll look it up one of these days). Why didn't you bring that up? You only mentioned that Corey threatened you with fraud. So, did you knowingly ship snakes through the USPS, which is a crime?

People are saying there are holes in Corey's story, but I'm seeing PLENTY in Robbie's.
 
Robbie. You are sure that you send 1.1 to your other customer? or maybe you send him 0.2 by mistake, and let Corey with the 3.1, heck I will be complaining too.

Many of you will ask why I just didn't make this offer to begin with. I didn't because I know I'm right, and I've got my principles to stand by. Nonetheless, I am making this offer to satisfy this forum, not Corey. The thoughts and feelings of the users here, with the exception of Corey, is very important to me and Michelle.

When Corey dredged up my past, he tried to make me sound like a serial killer, which obviously is too far from the truth. He admitted that he posted these several comments without having any knowledge as to the contents of his information. From his first post and on, he had every intention of slinging mud without having any real knowledge as to who I am. That indeed is libel. This type of behavior is not just "petty" but also reckless and should not be tolerated here.

Furthermore, you should know that I did not use USPS for shipping. Also, I am now forced to take pictures of all of my imports. Hopefully, I'll never need proof in the future. I sincerely hope that my offer puts closure to this awful experience.

Just one little thing though, I think you should go ahead and stand by your principles, do not do this just to please the readers of this forum. I think it's big of you to offer, just not the best manner of validating your choice. Yes, 75.00 is not worth all the hassle, but what are your principles worth? This is an entirely different topic though. If you feel right about doing this, both for your business and because you think it's the right thing to do, great. But, to do it to appease someone else I don't think is so good.If there is the slightest chance that you made a mistake, you know, one in a million, then bite the bullet and do it because without concrete evidence to the contrary it's the right thing to do.

Corey, if there is any chance that you did not get three males, say so now. If you still maintain that you did, I think Robbie's offer is a good one and everyone should be happy with it.

First off Robbie used UPS to ship, he packed them perfect and his shipping was surpurb, I will give him that. I dont know where this "robbie shipped with usps" came from.

I paid with a USPS postal money order and send it via USPS express.

In washington (where i am) and in Florida (where robbie is and where the owner of the forum is) posting criminal records is completely legal. No way did I make him sound like a serial killer, the note I posted came right off the record.

I am willing to send it back next week, for a REPLACEMENT with a female, that is what I will accept, that is what I was promised, that is what i ordered.

Also this forum required a full name. Is your name Robbie Kez or Robbie Keszey?

I just looked. Corey never says the snakes were shipped USPS. He says "I made the threat to turn robbie over to the USPS for fraud,".......we all ASSUMED that meant the snakes were sent USPS.

When you ASSUME something you make and ASS of U and ME both.
 
It is indeed a very small world as has just been proven. I got a pm from Robbie asking me to contact him about this thread. It turns out that he was a customer of mine back in "The Day" when I had my shop out here. Now that I have heard his side from him I really think that Corey should just take the money and call it quits. I never had any problems with Robbie back then and he is certain that he sent two females. Based on the fact that I have done business with him I believe that he believes he sent two females. Since there is no way to verify that he did or did not I think his offer is fair.

There is one other thing that needs some clarification too. Robbie may not have a Masters Degree in English. He spoke of his record and said that he didn't know he had one and that he thought it was sealed and or expunged. I mentioned to him that the two, not having one and thinking that it was sealed and/or expunged were pretty much mutually exclusive. He agreed that it was poor usage of the language and not an attempt to hide anything. We spoke of his picadillos and if he wants to make them public I think most of us would laugh and shake our heads. I'd trust this guy with my daughter, who is 10, that is no little thing. He simply misspoke himself and didn't realize how it sounded or read here.

Corey, I would advise you to take the money, it is fair at this point. With no way to verify that the snakes you have are actually the ones he sent you I think what he has offered is as good as it's going to get.

Now what confuses me here... you're willing to give a refund when "the snake" is returned. But maintain you sent the right snakes... so what sex snake are you agreeing to refund?

It seems that no matter what someone is going to say something. I think what Robbie is offering is fair. He is trying to have customer satisfaction even if he believes he is right. That is not exactly a bad thing.
Corey, I would accept the offer, it is meeting down the middle and at this point it is better than holding on to bad feelings.

Are we going to be right back to square one with this nonsense or is he going to give a refund regardless?

Is he going be the better man and simply let it be known he gave a refund, or is he going to come on here and claim he has proof Corey was wrong anyway?



I hope this gets resolved, but when you throw all the people with "tude" into the mix I just wonder where the line will be drawn. It seems like this has just as much of the opportunity to continue the pissing match as anything else.

But I tend to agree.. get the refund, buy from someone you trust and so be it.
 
Stardust, our oringinal agreement was swapping the mis-sexed one for a female. If I wanted the $75 I would of sold it months ago. As my first post says, I want a female.

$75 - 25 (shipping) = $50 = not enough to buy a proven female.

I dont understand why he can not follow through with the original agreement.

In my opinion Corey should not have to pay for the shipping. If he is going to be refunded he should be refunded for the total ($75). This means he should either receive a replacement female or the $75 plus shipping ($100 according to Corey). Although as Corey states he might not be able to find another breedable female for that kind of money, it is better to walk away with something than empty handed.

What if...

I sent someone 2.2 animals, and the value is in the females, and they later sent me an email saying I sent 3.1, I would be skeptical. They could then send back a male, and actually have 1.3. Granted, I have not read the ENTIRE thread here, I actually have OTHER things to do, and am in no way accusing Corey of anything, it is just a thought!

Very possible someone would do that, anyone that knows me, knows I wouldnt do that. I maybe a jerk sometimes, but I am not a fraud.
 
I believe Robbie will take the snake reguardless of it's actual sex. And since the bottom line here is that this is a he said she said I think that splitting the shipping costs is fair. No one is going to be completely happy but this seems most fair to me. Either that or everyone calls it quits and that's it, over and done for now and forever.
