I just hope Kim is as responsible as you to make good on the animals either by returning them to me asap in reasonably good condition or by paying me for their value if they were stolen or died from whatever ailment killed the boas she sent you.

Funny you should say that.
Someone once told me....maybe it was her....that she had gotten broken into.

Are the two females she sent you looked like the one in pictures? Kind clean with pastel color and pink? They are roughly 6-7 feet, may be slightly longer? Decent weight?

look at those.
The first pic is like the boa she sent me.......not much color. Just VERY clean.

The second pic looks also like the other boa she sent me. DEFINATELY more color.

And the guy in the picture. I have a cousin that looks like him.

SMALL WORLD if you ask me.

Anyway she was asking me if I still had the boa with the pink because some guy wanted to buy her pink boa but it just died out of the blue one day.

I told her yes I still had the pink boa but it was sick. She then sent me antibiotics to give it shots with.

HOLY COW!!!!.....I just realized her other pink boa she was sending to some guy, supposedly died.

John I looked at the pictures again.
I must say it is truly UNCANNY how they remind me of the boas that died that came from Kim.
I can say with a 90% certainty that those are what she sent me.

hey ritch

how goes the grind? i have a problem over here and havent found a solution as
of yet.
i sold a man a pink boa on time..to cut to the chase..last friday night i
check on the boa and its fine..saturday i come home from being gone all day and
wham its dead as a doornail.
so..no boa for the man..meanwhile because my mothers funds were all
frozen..she had to run and tell the bank dad died on monday of course and all the
accounts were frozen pending paperwork verification..ugh..my moms
sometimes..anyhow..we had to pay for a funeral service reception that was already arranged for
next week and she was broke till she can get her own money back so i gave her
some of my dough to help.
that included the pink snake money of course..more ugh from me and my
decisions..
i wasent really thinking i was in panic mode..anyhow..you have a pink boa
there..
has she been bred and can you spare her by any chance? if so do you happen to
have a picture of her? if that doesnt work then ill just have to refund this
man his money as soon as possible and if i get tortured on boi i have to live
with it..normally i dont do such things but last week i could not think
straight..it was also my mothers birthday on saturday and i was so worried about her
feeling the pain of dad being gone i wasent using my business mind and went
super emotional when she asked me for help..another stupid lesson learned.
never spend or offer the dough until the deal is closed..how many times do we
read that over and over..it doesnt matter why you need the money just dont
spend it..duh.
im too old for such <font color=red>[**censored**]</font> ups..one would have thought i had learned that
lesson a zillion years ago..grr..im very frustrated with myself and even more sorry
to have to ask you about this because its really ajoke and such a shame ..i
know you had great plans for the females over there..STUPID STUPID STUPID ME..

Doesn't anyone out there have a clue where Kim is now? Maybe because many of you may have had good dealings with her in the past you don't want to get involved in this situation but the fact is I'm out two beautiful animals and a significant amount of money because of her. Whatever the reason for Kim Felts disappearing act I would like MY ANIMALS returned immediately! If anyone has any information or can assist me in their safe return please come forward. You know if the situation were reversed I would do the same for you.

I have been informed of Kims husbandry and quaratine practices, or lack thereof. He assured me that the boas dying could not be my fault.

How about we just name the guy who stole Bob Clarks albino ball pythons? His name is Jeffery Charles Miller, and he was convicted of the crime so there should be no problem actually naming him....................I REALLY rather we NOT sit around and imply that someone going by the handle "JM" and living in Southern California is a theif.

Regardless of

the fact that my animals may have been stolen by whoever, they died from disease, or they're whooping it up having a good time, Kim should have kept in touch with me to update me on their status. For me to have bought back what was formerly my animal from Vinnie I had to pay a 50% premium above what I sold it to him for. I was willing to do so because this animal was well worth it. When Vin was hesitant to ship the animal directly to Kim I assured him Kim was 100% trustworthy. Man has she let me down. There's no excuse for someone making tracks with someone elses animals and that is what is at issue here. If I have to personally hunt Kim down I have the will to do so.
I am hoping that by some miracle someone who knows where Kim is will contact her and tell her to return my animals asap. If that doesn't work the next step will be for me to contact the police and see what they can do.
If the animals are still alive it's time they go back to their rightful owner. If they are dead from improper husbandry, stolen, or sold for funds, then I expect to be monetarily compensated for them. Right now I haven't even had the courtesy of an e-mail or phone call.
On 9/25/03 I even posted favorably on her regarding her shipping practices in the following thread:

BTW two of the three adult animals mentioned in my post were my own! The 1.1 Peruvians and an adult Cancun were supposed to be shipped. I received the Cancun and the others were supposed to follow but that was it. Because of the shipping incident involved in the thread linked above she was "shellshocked" and afraid to ship. Shortly after this she disappeared and there hasn't been any more activity from her here at Fauna or anywhere else that I'm aware of ever since. That's gratitude for ya, huh?

what is the most current address you have for her Greg? There are a lot of us here in Southern California, if any of us are close enough maybe someone could drive by and see if she still lives where ever her last known address was.

Well, I was going to leave this one alone...

Sorry I can't help with her whereabouts but I can tell you about my experience with her. Atleast I was the seller on this one and "opted out". She had paypal'd me a deposit on a pair of baby Honduran boas as agreed. I live only about 25 minutes from her so she was going to meet me somewhere in my area to finalize the transaction. I got tired of holding the animals way longer than we had agreed on so I explained to her I needed them gone so I could shut down the huge rack for the winter. During this time it was the same excuses that some of you had already mentioned, my kid is sick, my car isn't running right, etc. At one point she wanted me to ship them Airborne Express and have the shipping billed to her account. It was around November or so and things were starting to get cold. Remember that she lived only 25 minutes down the road from me and they would probably have to go all the way to Ohio(or whatever state Airborne's hub is and then all the way back here again). She even told me that she was waiting for some caging to come that had been delayed for a very lengthy amount of time and that because of this, there were respiratory problems starting to develop throughout her collection. It was at this point I just refunded her money back through paypal and sold them to someone else. She got very upset with me and emailed me several times, quite nasty. I told her to take the deposit back and get her car fixed, get some cough syrup for her kid, and put some heat on the sick snakes. I was very adult about the entire thing but she sure wasn't. For those of you that don't know, Inglewood isn't known for being the nicest city around here and I wasn't going to drive down to deliver them to her, even with my Glock on my lap.

That tells me that as of November she was still living in LA or at least wanted an animal shipped to her old address. It is pretty weird she wanted you to ship an animal rather than just meet somewhere and do a hand off. She couldn't have been to cash poor if she was still trying to buy animals from you and someone else in Vegas. I'm very glad you came forward. I know there are at least a dozen others out there that can add some information here. Forget about the Kim Felts you used to know and please help out by adding more pieces to the puzzle. Does anyone have a pic of her?

Wow, that was alot of reading. I used to be in contact her myself.
I have sold her animals in the past but have not heard from her in awhile. The last address and phone I have is the same as was already posted.

Hopefully she is OK, and someone can get ahold of her. I tried the email I had for her and nothing.

I read what you posted over there on the Vincent Russello thread, and I wanted to respond, but I didn't want to draw that thread off topic any more than necessary. That guy is too much to handle on one issue, let alone another.

As to your dispair over seeing this thread get so little attention and one of little real consequence like that one get so much, I share your concerns. However, if Kim were posting every few minutes on this thread making one assinine comments after another, you know we'd be all over that situation too.

The problem is that no one seems to know exactly where she is, or what she's even doing. She may be in trouble (which is no excuse at all, but it would explain things a bit -- people usually don't just "turn bad" after all), or she may just be that one case in 1,000,000 (of previously good people) that has simply decided that there's more easy money to be made than honest money.

I don't know. Neither does anyone else, it seems. So, that is why there is no real activity on this thread. There is just nothing to say beyond what has been said. It looks bad for her. What else can be done until more is known?

I know she's still alive and living in LA. I will give her a chance to either come up with the goods or at least help me get the animals back from whomever she sent them to. I'm getting bits and pieces of information and will post everything here at the appropriate time. I can't say any more at this time.

I am about 45 minutes from Inglewood. Maybe I can help you. I feel bad about helping to steer you into a bad situation by speaking well of Matt from Mystic Herps. While in retrospect it seems obvious that this could not be forseen I still feel partly responsible and would like to make it up to you if I can help out in any way. I will put my feelers out here. The reptile community is a very small one here even though L.A. has like 14 million people. For instance, I know her friend John Nugyen. I'm sure that I know some other people that know her as well. I sell a few thousand rats to a couple hundred herpers around these here parts each month as well as snakes, so I'm bound to find something out. In the meantime if you want my help let me know. I don't work and as a result I have LOTS of free time. Also, if you do want my help it would be good to get as much info from you on her as possible too. If she still has your boas and lives in So Cal,..... you will get them back.
