The Truth is...
she is probably very aware of this thread and has registered as a member under a new screen name. Her IP address is different than before because she's moved to a different locality and bought a new computer or so I was told before she flaked out on me. The reason I know she's aware is because of Alan Hall's post regarding AOL IM. He saw her online and posts "Kim?" She responded by signing off three seconds later. Two minutes after that she signed back on literally for a second just to see if Alan was still on. When she saw he was she signed off again. Why else would she open her IM and close it right away like that?
It's obvious she's avoiding Alan because he succeeded in contacting her months ago when I posted a thread under the missing persons section. She knows what she's done and in my opinion she's no better than the jokers on the other thread I currently have going on Mystic Herps.

she needs to come clean here and try to make up any wrongs she has committed. I would hate for her to go on the list with Jesse Underhill and all the other dirtbags. I think she got in too deep, and her ladder is way too short to climb back out. I have helped Kim in the past, and would do so again if she asked.

What I don't understand is why would she use her well-known screen name (Babyslither) if she wanted to log in without being noticed? Something does not add up.

shortly before she disappeared she asked me if I was interested in taking over that link positioned atop the boa classifieds. She was going to write to see if it were possible to transfer the rights to the link because she was planning on getting out of boas and into beardies. That was her new found love and as stated earlier she sent a free baby to my wife's nephew in Florida. The other thing she was supposed to do was send her custom made enclosures which I believe were built by Casey Hulse. I never saw or asked her for them and she never came through. I believe she voluntarily offered them to me as a gesture to keep the topic off of the Peruvians and make me think, oh, what a nice person she was! Maybe by that point something had already happened to the pair or she had plans on absconding with them. It's still a mystery at this point but it out and out sucks one way or another.

The only problem is that she has to settle these issues first before even thinking of posting beardeds for sale in the future. I'm pretty sure she understands this as she was quite involved in some threads in the past. We all have personal problems, that's understandable. What it's not tough is not even attempting to make contact with those people to whom you owe.

anonymously. I know where she lives and I believe I have her correct phone number although I haven't called her as yet. I have a friend well known to this forum that has stopped by and talked with Kim's mother and Kim called this person back. Her story is she fell off of a ladder and broke her back and hit her head. She claims she sent "her" animals to several locations and doesn't even remember what she sent to who. Believe me if I told her she had sent me a motley on breeder loan and it just had babies worth $8,000 each she's remember that real fast.
I'm quite sure she's still amongst us using different user names. I saw a post at the boa forum on 4/29/04 that was 100% her writing style under the user name Boid149. Here's a link to it.

In my opinion that doesn't sound like her (although I guess anything is possible). There are several misspelled words in that post which was not characteristic of Kim's writing. Please keep us posted if you finally get a hold of her.

ok this morning or shortly ago i spoke with a person on kims AOL AIM IM , this is a direct transcript of the conversation i spoke with kim ALOT in AIm and know her typing & gramatical ways and i would say that i feel 100% sure this wasnt her as she knows i have nothing with her as a beef or such so i feel if it were kim she would have spoken with me .
i think this will shed some light on Kims behalf as to why she dropped under /off the radar screen . while it also may shed some light on why the snakes were split up and sent out and her now truely knowing to whom or wherethey went in her condition .

again i think this should be taken in consideration as to kims disapearing for some time and i would say that if any of us went through something like this we to may very well be put in the same postion she has/was and or is doesnt take but the blink of a eye to have your life change drastically and leave us in the same position of not being able to care for animals and have little or know control on where they go and who has them .those of us that know kim on a more personal basis i think we can say that with that we know kim as she was and that she wouldnt have intentionaly done what has happened knowing that the people we are as reptile freaks keep tabs on things alot ... so try to keep somewhat a open mind and think if you were in her postion would the top of your list be your animals or well being ?
i hope to speak with her myslef in the near future and as i have told greg in a email if i can get any info that may lead his snakes back to him i will surely pass it on to him . More then likely the person/s that may have taken possesion of them knows many of us here and would know what snakes greg is looking for so i would think that if someone recieved the snakes greg is looking for they surely are a aprt of the community here or on KS so i would ask that if you receieved any snakes that fit the bill greg is looking for to do the right thing and contact greg with what you have , i dont know greg but im sure he would know his snakes if he saw them and surely wouldnt claim a animal that isnt his ..
well i have to head out now just thought i would shed a new light on the situation and ask that in light of her postion and state of health to keep a open mind and put your self in her shoes and ask what would you do in her place or what wouldnt you do if you were not able to ?

Just thought I would mention, When you look up her email address for AOL IM it pops up as littlerana16. Thats if you type in [email protected] in the buddy wizard. Not sure if that's the same person but thats what ya get.
I have not heard from her in along time now. Last I heard, her mother was sick. Her ex-husband who she told me was an alqueda member was always on her case. She seemed to always have a rough time of it.

Kim Is Nothing More Than a Crook!
It's been three months ago today that Alan Hall made the revelation that Kim was going to suddenly come back into the world and make good on the money she owed Neil Gubitz and return two animals of mine. The thread can be viewed here:

"im truely sorry that i worried some people as much as i did it was unintentional . i have greg snakes here safe and sound and paid neil first thing on my list when logging on today first time in ages.
you dont need to forgive me but in my book its better late then never and i paid with interest to show my realization of what the problem could have caused the other person in wait time.
i will know better in the future because honestly could have used the support through recovery . lesson learned and thanks to all who knew enough of me to know the person that i am."
To eliminate any chance of my animals mysteriously disappearing or dying in transit I arranged for a friend of mine living near Kim named Laura Cox to contact Kim to arrange for an in person transfer of the two adult Peruvians. At that time there was a reptile show only two weeks away located a short distance from both parties and I'd hoped to have Kim and Laura get together there. This didn't happen because of Kim. Laura has contacted Kim countless times since then in a very friendly manner to arrange a for a pick up the snakes, meeting half way, for Kim to drop the animals off, etc. Each and every time Kim's had every excuse why she couldn't do so. Finally, after much frustration I wrote Kim requesting she return my animals back immediately because the weather was getting colder and breeding season was nearing.
The bottom line is Neither Laura or myself has had any contact from Kim in well over a month and my animals are still nowhere to be found. IMHO Kim Felts is no better than a common thief so don't be fooled by her mild and meek innocent person act. She has proven herself by her actions which speak volumes of her true character. What a loser!

Yes she did.... she owed me $450, and paid me back $500.... She did everything she said she would do for me.... I have no complaints.... I would, however, like to see Greg get his snakes back, though....

Neil was very lucky to finally get his money back but since I chose not to kiss Kim's butt she has been totally uncooperative with me. I've lost an entire breeding season last year due to her and I'm now poised to loose another one. I loaned her the original female because she said she had an adult male to go with her. I've since found out that she scouted around for a male AFTER I sent her my female so she lied about this. Then, to top it off I decided to have a very rare male melanogaster sent to her since I was lucky enough to come upon one after the female was already in Kim's possession. Rather than renege on my breeder loan and have the female returned I was nice enough to have the male sent directly to Kim as well. Now I ask anyone, how often does anyone send a PAIR of animals on breeder loan? Not long after Kim had both of my animals in her possession she disappeared. I have never heard anything about any babies having been produced and now another season is here and I STILL DON'T HAVE MY ANIMALS!!!
Kim, skipping out for an entire year was bad enough but what is your excuse now? You've had every opportunity to make good yet you've decided to be totally irresponsible. Contact Laura and get this done and over with. Otherwise it's obvious your reputation means absolutely nothing to you.

Rather than renege on my breeder loan and have the female returned I was nice enough to have the male sent directly to Kim as well. Now I ask anyone, how often does anyone send a PAIR of animals on breeder loan? Not long after Kim had both of my animals in her possession she disappeared. I have never heard anything about any babies having been produced and now another season is here and I STILL DON'T HAVE MY ANIMALS!!!
Kim, skipping out for an entire year was bad enough but what is your excuse now? You've had every opportunity to make good yet you've decided to be totally irresponsible. Contact Laura and get this done and over with. Otherwise it's obvious your reputation means absolutely nothing to you.
