• Responding to email notices you receive.

In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Kimberly Lucas Gorgeousgecko.com con artist!!

I am a bit shocked that Kim has such a lax opinion of this situation. In my personal opinion she is not some type of scammer. I do feel she is guilty of having very poor customer service.

I don't see why she couldn't

a) take the animal back for a refund at his cost and maybe a fee for taking a animal back that has been exposed to other conditions where she had to quarantine it.

b) Offer a exchange at the buyers expense

c) That gecko is not worth what he paid and could of maybe tried to meet half way on a price that gecko would be worth so he didnt feel like he was ripped off?

d) i think it was very nice of him to ONLY ask for $150 back out of that large sum. Why not honor it you still turned a profit!

Seems like a classic case of a misunderstanding on the quality of the gecko and she didnt make it better by acting the way she did.

Did you even read the thread? There was nothing "classic miscommunication" about this situatuon. She advertised the animal as a Moonglow. It clearly was not. Then she tried to say the term Moonglow is basically used loosely.

She straight up scammed this guy.

Exactly, there was no misunderstanding here. One of two things are the only possible explantions. Either Kim honestly thought she had a moonglow, and is just ignorant as to what a moonglow is. In which case she has no business selling geckos if she doesn't even know the morphs. Or she knew it wasn't a moonglow and just said it was to up the price.

What an interesting read. Took 35 pages but moral of the story is.....

Don't buy gecko's from Kim!

oh and altitudeexotics, you live and learn

Cheers

Is it just me or didn't it seem like 6 months ago every crested posted had some kind of necrotic looking half tail? Now none of them have tails?:shrug01:
I get it, housing all the hatchlings together is much more economical but you don't have to charge out the ass for everything you sell either?

I keep anywhere from 4 to 15 younger geckos per cage and have never had a tail lost or injury from another gecko.......of course I am actually FEEDING them more than once a week.......they actually have CGD at all times and I dump a pile of red runner roaches in each cage every couple of days so in essence they can find roaches hiding throughout the cages at all times also.
