    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I would (as now I'm curious LOL!) but your email address isn't in your profile and the email feature is disabled by your request...probably the default setting.
 
I don't know why people are voting on this poll. I have no intentions in the forseeable future of charging to use the classifieds sections on this site.

Am I missing something here? Do people actually WANT to have to pay for this service?

Honestly if anything, sometime in the future I may have to start charging for access to the BOI just so I can effectively weed out bogus registrations and the subsequent postings from these fake identities. But so far I haven't seen the pressing need to even spend much time considering that option.

Somebody out there for whatever odd reason they had thought it was worth their time and effort to dig through over a year's worth of mothballed threads to find this poll and vote on it effectively bringing the discussion back to the top of the pile. They never actually posted a comment to the discussion itself so I guess we won't know why they did it. It was other people noticing the poll was back at the top that started the actual discussion up again.
