I have my views of Fauna, some good some bad, some room for improvement. All in all the thing that I respect most here is that you stand up for your right to run your own type of forum. You set the rules, I do not know if Jeff knew of those rules beforehand of the BOI but if he did and approved he was VERY wrong in even asking you to break the rules you set forth. Perhaps his ego was so inflated that he couldn't even fathom anyone writing something about KS, I do not know.
I have not been posting here as much because I think there are some definite flaws here but I still come here to read and do believe in this site.
There has to be somewhere to go to tell your story or a bad deal and you have provided that. Was there little get backs here and there? I suppose there was, I don't know about Jeff side of get backs as I only know of him banning you and fauna. But isn't the forums, including web watch (although made after) still a place where people can go to voice their true opinions, thoughts and facts?
It's funny, I still like some of KS, not because of the politics of it, but the people, I enjoy reading there. It is all that is hidden I do not like, it is the fact that they do not care enough of the people who go there and support there community by hiding bad deals and letting the people go on thinking everything is fine including all the sellers on the classifieds that rip people off
You can do what you think is best, Rich. I will stand behind any decision you make and respect it. I will say that I do not believe there will be an end to this as long as fauna and the BOI exists, so I hope you do fight for the right of not only freedom of speech but your right to buy and sell.
As it stands he has tried to tell you what you can and can not say on your site, now he is trying to tell you what you can buy and sell. When is it going to end? Would giving him that site solve anything? Or would there be something else he will find to do? I am sorry but I just do not see an end to this. I have seen you try to no avail.
I guess you have to ask yourself how much is this site, the ks site you have is worth to you? How much is your integrity worth and how far will you be willing to go for these things?
