I think sending the $800 you originally agreed to send would be a good start.
I think the whole deal should be presented, negotiated, and accepted, so nothing pops up later to prevent a successful completion. What else besides the $800?

We still have not seen pictures of the bloody salmon or pictures of it being probed.
Okay I think I must be a bit dense. He had Lisha send the snakes to a Hardware store in Maine and then picks them up in Maine and carries them back over the border? Here is the info on the address they were shipped to: http://ww3.truevalue.com/johnsons/Home.aspx
I really would like to see a copy of the cities that he used to bring these snakes over the border into Canada and a picture of the Bloody Salmon with todays date.

Lisha and Kevin, In the few private messages that were posted already there was another offer for trades or $800 dollars for the Ghost that Kevin asked for.
It appears that Lisha agreed to pay the $800 but there was still the issue of the mis-sexed snake and no funds were received. Why can't you both work from there and come to a conclusion in this transaction?
I'll add this (not that it will help this transaction), Buying something that isn't born yet is a bad idea. Selling possible babies is a terrible idea. Not having agreed upon terms in place ahead of time if you don't produce just adds to the headache. IMHO
Since it doesn't look like you two are going to come to terms on replacement animals and shipping to Canada the $800 asked and accepted should be the starting point to settle this. So what should be the compensation for the mis-sexed snake?
That seems to be where you guys are at or have been at for some time.
Boom!Kevin, I don't understand. You want to get what your owed and she wants this to end and we are right back to the 800 leaving out the missexed animal.
She asked for a fair compensation number from you and you should give it. Working out a replacement snake instead is prolonging and opening this up for further problems. Tell her what you want money wise.

Also, I had asked earlier if there was any dispute about the sex of the animal. Nobody stated it was disputed. In the correspondence between the two of them I didn't see a dispute. Now there is?
She just asked for a total number to rectify this which seems like the right move to end this. Someone else pops in asking for proof of the missexed animal now we want proof before you send anything? It should have been done before. Now it is important?
There is no dispute you owe him for the ghost.
If there is a debate about the import fees that will reflect on Kevin's character and representation of what has transpired if anything is proved that he didn't import correctly.
That has nothing to do with you still owing him for the ghost. If he doesn't have anything to add for the value of the missexed snake, send him what you know you owe and call it quits.
Why drag it out?
Well it is nice to see the Facebook crowd here to start throwing their weight around.
I have never said what I wanted for the missexed bloody salmon because what I want is a fair offer from her. She had it listed here on fauna for sale at $3,500 then if I remember correctly she dropped it to $3,000. I honestly didn't think asking for the $1,800 difference between her asking price and the real value was not quite right.
She has never questioned the sex being wrong until people on fb said I didn't deserve anything.

lisha, when was the first time you asked for proof on the sex of the snake?

On May 28 when Lisha offered a female Snow for the missexed snake, I was under the assumption no one was disputing the sex of the Bloody Salmon.
