    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Obviously it is a conspiracy involving all levels of government and Scotty SOMEHOW knew you had insight for a phone company and knew you threw away your phone bills.

You and your bf, David make a lot of sense. Making fools of yourselves and name calling all the while Scott is keeping up his professionalism and even if he DID lose it who would fault him after both of your repeated insults at him and everyone else.

I haven't checked, but I'm pretty sure you could get that phone bill if you TRIED. I mean what could you lose if you got that phone bill to show the WORLD since you are SO educated and righteous. Oh maybe your dates were a little off and you don't want to look even more douche than you already are???
 
If LLL is admitting that the red mites are their fault, and Eric is admitting 50% of the "fault" or "blame" is on him, LLL should just send Eric a check for $100. $80 in credit when you spent $200 would not cut it with me, if, in order to cash in the credit, I would have to spend more money on shipping. So, original animal plus shipping was $200, you get an $80 credit, but you have to spend $40 more of your own money on shipping, that would equal $240 for an $80 animal, or a $40 animal if you use part of the credit for shipping.

Maybe WC animals of some species just should not be sold.

This all being said, I got a pair of Lineatus from LLL-I live close to them-and got 4 good eggs from the female about a month or two later....and yeah, all four hatched:)

To answer your questions I got books and a bunch of supplies from your shop for xmas and its all awesome. You are a lot nicer then most people out there.

When I said crystal clear - I knew I missed something! LOL.

David - I don't want a loophole. Wow. LOL. We will REFUND him. I don't care how. I will send him 200 single dollar bills if you want. I will send him a $200 dollar Starbucks gift card. I don't care. Is that clear enough? Fax me the phone bill if it is that simple.

Outside of this thread, I bet you have a really good sense of humor David! Let me know if I left any more loopholes open... You glossed over the fact that he didn't call within 3 days of the animal arriving. He called after he noticed a problem. If that was within 3 days of the animal arriving, then you (sorry, Eric) is owed a full 100% refund. Period.

So what did everyone get for Christmas? I got a cool new GPS and a 5 weight fly rod. Pretty excited about that....

As far as we all know right now, Eric has not provided proof that he honored LLL's Terms of Service by contacting them within 3 days. And Scott has not indicated if Eric has made further contact with him regarding that issue.

I'm STILL not sure where David fits into this picture.

I'm waiting on proof that Eric made the call when he said he did before I make any decisions.

Actually I believe the way it was explained earlier is that the $80 credit was for half the price of the gecko, not the total cost(gecko+shipping). $200(total)-$40(shipping)=$160(gecko)/2=$80. Which makes sense considering the TOS clearly states no refunds on shipping, so that would not have been included in determining the 1/2 refund.

Hah, you've got to be kidding me. I was a witness to the claims Eric made, both about the gecko's condition and him calling LLL multiple times. Being a first-hand witness, I thought that perhaps my verification was valuable given that I am a known member here with a good standing of being honest and having integrity.

But you're right....I have zero business even posting here. What was I thinking?

Why is this such a difficult concept to grasp? Everyone would take your side and Scott would fully refund Eric if he just provides proof of his call. If you two would stop attacking everyone who disagrees with you, MOST OF WHOM HAVE HAD FANTASTIC BUSINESS TRANSACTIONS WITH LLLREPTILE, BOTH IN SUPPLIES AND ANIMALS (but of course Scott just singled you out or something, right?), replies would be less hostile. Hell, if Eric showed proof that he called, everyone would likely agree and admit that it was a fault of LLLReptile. But now you've both thrown such a huge tantrum I doubt it'll do what you intended in the first place. Either nut up and bring out the proof, or let this slide into BOI-history, because right now you're just making a scene.
 
david, give it a rest, you can't goad me into a fight... You don't have to be a lawyer just have a little common sense and understand some basic laws. A utility company can not bill you without showing you what exactly they are billing you for plain and simple. So far in this whole thing you've done little more than name call and insult peoples intelligence and have offered no real help to a solution. I don't know about the rest of you but both of these guys are on my permanent do not sell to list and I will let every breeder I know that they should do the same. Maybe I'll start a BOI about it eh... j/k I wouldn't waste the space. Oh and scott I gott an orange ghost male ball from you guys at the vegas show, a spider male, and a pastel female and an IPOD dock for xmas... Hope you have fun with the new rod, I haven't been fishing in almost 10 years.
 
JUST an FYI ~

I have bought many things from LLL Reptile and NEVER had any problems with them. The customer service has always been great & in a timely manner.

One negative experience from someone else would not discourage me from buying from them, even this situation.

One has to take into consideration, sometimes things happen, people make mistakes and things do not turn out the way we had planned, no need to go into war over it though.

You always have to read the terms & conditions from every store/site you are considering making a purchase from, before you make a purchase. If you are not in agreement with their policies, you should not purchase from them.

It is very unfortunate for both parties involved in this situation... but arguing is not going to settle anything. Stick to the facts & policies and it can be worked out.. it won't be ideal but can be worked out... Ideal would have been nothing to have gone wrong in the *first* place.
 
I have not done anything close to "throwing a tantrum".....while some of my replies might be heavy on sarcasm, I feel that I have not crossed any lines in terms of name calling or being rude. Nor have I been "hostile" as Johnathon puts it.

Sure, the company may tell you what you're being billed for....my online bill states the services I receive, lists charges for those services (I am not charged for long distance calls on my home phone as long as they are in the continental US) but it never lists every call that I make every month. I myself have never needed such information. My cell phone bill does, but that is through another company.

Putting me on any sort of "do not sell to list" simply because of what I (not Eric) have posted is pretty silly in my opinion, and does not really bother me much since I am an arachnid/invertebrate keeper who dabbles in reptiles on occasion, from which I have a plethora of local vendors & breeders to purchase from. :)
 
I also want to point out that the more customers a company has the more customers they have that will be unhappy with something about their transaction. As a customer you will get further with your complaints and possible resolutions if you act as professional as you would expect them to. If a company has 1000 customers a week or a month and 20 of them are unhappy originally thats only 2% of the customer base and most large companies would consider that a good week... if you can resolve most of those incidents then obviously thats even better but the point is that when you have a large customer base it is impossible or at least very unlikely that you will make everyone happy and that should be considered by everyone who reads a thread like this one.
 
Well David I'll tell you what, I'll call a truce with you as I have nothing personally invested in this but you have to realize that all of your sarcasm and rude comments don't pay you any compliments when it comes to trying to resolve a business conflict. If they weren't intended to be hostile then I apologize for that comment. You have to appreciate the fact that your ability to post on the BOI doesn't automatically make you right, it only gives you a resource of many different opinions so that an understanding can be reached. Sometimes it's not the understanding you'd hoped for but thats life right.
