    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Where is this stated?

In his email that he just posted he clearly states he doesn't know what your arrival guarantee is, so when was this talked about, or written?
 
i stated the facts there was cushioning paper all around the animal. bottom sides and couple of sheets in between the heat pack and the animal. and ONE heat pack taped to the inside of the lid. the box was 12x9x6 and you have to be real thick or shipping to Alaska in winter to put more than 1 heat pack. I told him about the other spider he did deny it, so i offered a 1500 gram normal female, and to just pay shipping. he said he had to think about it, then proceeded to file a claim with Pay pal which was denied yesterday, THEN he comes up with the THREE heat pack theory, and now here we are.

Tracking the animal doesnt tell you that the animal is right outside your house it just tells you the location in which it is at a warehouse or it says in transit. Also yes it is true I have spoke to you on many occasions about other snakes that had nothing to do with us getting into transactions which was much appreciated at the time. When you first offered me the spider yes I said how do I know its not going to arrive dead because you wanted me to pay another $100 for it. I never denied it i just said let me figure out what my plan is I will call you back and I did. You offered me a 1500g female NORMAL for $100 also and wanted me to choose between her and the spider. I started a help me thread and I posted the email in the beginning of the BOI thread that you had said the spider is now sold because of the thread I started and left me a voice mail stating that I am not getting a refund as far as you can help it.
 
Lou post the email in which you say you stated how you were going ship the snake like you said you did. I'm curious to see that email because I don't have it
 
It was oral over the phone. In our conversation the day i shipped out and he told me he would be home. and really, do you need to be told after you spent good money that you should get the package on the first delivery?
 
you wouldn't have it because we talked on the phone. and i amended the offer for the spider so that you just pay the shipping. you did not want him and then i offered the female for just shipping. all this was over the phone. then yes i got ticked and took back the offers.
 
At this point you aren't going to admit to the 3 heat packs however your second wrong doing is that you took back the offers. To me that is bad business. I told you what I would do if I sent someone a dragon and it arrived dead. I would send them a new one and if they missed first attempt I wouldn't sell to them again but at least they would know that I come threw with optimum service
 
For what its worth... all three heat packs appear to be the same kind as the one taped to the top of the box. Its circumstantial at best... so take it for what its worth. It also appears that both the one on the top and bottom were taped with the red stripe out... (ie how it should be done) so I dont think someone just slapped them on there at the last minute. Also just circumstantial

so your upset that i took back the offers after the bashing and lying about the 3 heat packs. You did not want another animal from me remember. you wanted a full refund. it was your fault, next time sit on your doorstep and wait for UPS. i did try to make this right at first you wanted a full refund, then tried the pay pal route now you want me to send you more animals. oh and i never took the female offer off the table just the spider.
 
you can get those heat packs at LLLreptile and if he is in the beardie breeding business i would guess that he has a few laying around. all i know is That i DID NOT place three heat packs in. even when i shipped in Jan i only put one in. 3 is overkill.

Lou is one of the best guys in the business. He is not only reputable but also very fair. I have bought over 20 ball pythons from Lou without a single problem. He has shipped me half of those snakes when I lived out of state and I never had an issue. You missed the 1st delivery attempt. That is not Lou's fault? It is either yours or UPS. I would buy animals from Lou before any other breeder with my positive experiences. I hate to see a good guy get bashed when it is not his fault.

Are you kidding me? Sit and wait. Do you not think that some of us have lives and work to do around the house. IF I was to do as you suggested then I would be sitting on my step for about a 2.5 hour window because that is the timeframe that my driver normally gets to me. I know when to expect my packages... or at least what time frame. He is never earlier than 2pm and never later than 4:30pm.
 
I am mad for many reasons, I lost $350, you put three heat packs in the box, you took away your offer regardless and are trying to give me a normal female. Yet you keep saying I missed the first attempt.

John I am glad you had positive experiences with Lou.

I don't carry heat packs, I just got back into beardies in January I bought from Tom Clark of Baltimore Beardies. I don;t have any eggs or any hatching so I would have no need to buy heat packs. The one dragon I sent out I sent without a heat pack because I don't have any and the weather was appropriate enough to not need one.
 
As Chris said, state facts. Due to the 3 heat packs vs. 1 in the shipping box being a "he said she said" situation I believe we should press on to diffrent circumstances of this deal. Lou, did you offer him another animal as compensation?

4:39 he finally call me back and tells me that the spider is dead. I tell him that he was fine and healthy and very much alive and ask to see pics.

I get home a few mins later and see that no pics are in email and call Ed again (5:11pm) No answer.

I call again at 5:17 pm and offer the other spider. He tells me " Why would i want another animal from you when the first one died" then starts the the HELP ME thread.

Can you log into your providers website and take a screenshot to back up these times?
 
Kevin, he has stated the UPS has done the no knock thing and drive bys before, so if there is a history of this then wouldn't you wait on the door step with 350.00 riding on it.
 
Let me throw this out there.... chances are 4 hours extra this time of year would not kill a snake if it was properly packed. I just got in a boa that was a day late and it is doing fine. It also had a heat pack in the box.

This is the BOI... and if you can prove what you stated... it will go along way to proving him as a liar (which appears to be what your claiming).

As I said above... I recieved a boa this week that was a day late... and I live in the south... so I dont think 4 hours extra would kill a python if it was packaged properly.
 
How about if the afternoon heat spikes to 85 or 90 like he said and it was in a box on a truck with A heat pack. at 9:07 am in New Jersey on thursday it was 69 degrees. he did not get the package till 2:47 Est over five hours later according to my UPS emails.
