Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Loxahatchee Herp Hatchery & Rodent Farm--Great Guys

I have nothing but good things to say about Loxahatchee. Great customer service, clean product, packed and shipped properly. These guys have been outstanding. I have never had any problems or hassles when ordering from them. Their website is having some issues this week, so I emailed them to place my order and got return emails both at home and at work, with a number to call if I wanted to place my order over the phone. I called, got Stacey, placed my order, and will have my frozen feeders Tuesday. Stacey had everything taken care of in about 45 seconds - no kidding! Oh, and the website should be all fixed and back to normal this coming week. Which is good, because I don't think I want to order from anybody else. I highly recommend!

Good luck. Not sure what's going on, but they seem to have checked out. I was a longtime customer, and couldn't get any answers on their shipping pricing problems so I ended up buying elsewhere.

Shame, their rats were amazing.
 
I got my order from them today. I live in FL, so shipping was not bad. Both rats and mice are ultra clean, smell fresh, vacuum packed in meat trays, and still frozen hard. Their prices are very reasonable too.
This was not my first business transaction with them either. I have ordered super worms from them before at an awesome price. This def will not be the last time I will be ordering from them either. Great product, great service and great prices!

They dont have a contact number on thier site,yet its posted on the FB page?
I was forwarded the number and attempted to call,huge rain storm had the back ground noise(metal shed) unreal.
Asked the guy if he got my number via C/ID and he confirmed,I requested a call back once the storms moved out,nothing yet . . . . .

I see that they are now also providing frozen ASFs - nice! A lot better than trying to raise the little demons.
 
I can echo the difficulty in contacting them, apparently is is technical difficulties on their end. However, once an alternate e-mail was provided everything went flawlessly. Impressed with the rodents, the price, and the facility. :)
 
I will add that I also love them, and was impressed by my order.
My only problem is that they are sold out of what I need a lot of the time. When they do have it, I am sure to order.
 
Wanted to add my recent first-time experience with Loxahatchee. I placed an order and they shipped the following Monday. There was a slight mix-up with what was delivered versus what I had ordered, but Jim took my call and promised to make things right free of charge, no questions asked.

The correct order is now on its way - you can't ask for better customer service than that!
 
I'm very happy with the order I received from them today. Nicely packed and very clean. Their shipping prices are very reasonable. I gave them a try because I wanted some ASF with my order and they are they had them in 3 sizes. I usually use another supplier, but when I need ASF I will use Loxahatchee. It's always good to have a back-up or 2 anyway with suppliers all periodically being out of some feeders.
 
I received mice and day old pinkies from them today, frozen solid, very well packed and easily separated, and best of all they all looked great. Given their prices are pretty good and I am on the East Coast, this will now be my go to source. Ordered on a Saturday and had my order today, so quick turn around times, too.
