    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

:shrug01: Just posting my take on the matter. I can see someone trying to "get at the truth" (or whatever it is she's looking for) from two different angles.

I'm not saying she's right...or wrong...heck, I don't even know what she's complaining about except some vague idea of an order that didn't arrive and/or pictures she didn't get or something.
 
There's more info on her issue in the caging forum at redtailboa . net if anyone cares to read it. I think she's just worried she's going to get ripped off.
 
Maybe someone can link to the thread... because i dont know about anyone else.... but im confused as hell. I can understand her fear of getting ripped off.... but conflicting posts cause conflicting thought processes.... She may have been completely harmless in her posts... but it leaves a bad taste in someones mouth when it is done how she did it... jsut my 2C worth.... Im confused right beside ya Judy...
 
I asked because I was hoping to see what other people though of the company, hoping to see good things.

I have been stalled, and now the truck company tells me that Sean needs to drop off the cages to the local Vitran. Sean says Vitran picked them up Friday. I call the freight place and they insist that these cages have NOT been picked up. Sean says they have. I can't figure out what is true. I don't believe they shipped. I believe Sean needs to take them to the carrier and then they will be on their way to me and that hasn't been done. I do know he paid for it so that's good, but I'm getting so many conflicting answers and I'm very frustrated.

Again, I was just hoping someone might put in a good word to give me hope.

I'm sorry if I posted the wrong thing. I don't get why he can't send me a picture as I was promised to have on Saturday and I still don't even get a pic of my cages. Why not post white on the website? People do like to see what they are ordering. Sean says the white is awesome so why not post it? Might get more business. When I saw some white cages another girl got from somewhere else I was awed at how nice they looked. That one picture could draw business.

I'm not sure why it's odd? I guess my frustration is coming out in the wrong way. I apologize for that but I don't know what to do.
 
If you want the entire explanation, I will give it to you. It's been stalling and stalling and I was told turnaround was 2-3 days. Well apparently not for white. I placed one order for 3 cages and a pedestal, then I ordered another cage knowing that would delay my order a week. In my opinion, my cages should have shipped Oct 28 based on what I had been told.

Am I making any sense now? I'm just very upset. I don't know whether they have even been taken off of his property. He tells me one thing, the truck place tells me an entirel different story. Something is wrong with that.
 
Kathy, if/when you recieve everything please update us here. I've been considering several cages from them since they're close enough so I could pick them up but the quality has to be good for me to do so.
 
Not to add to your frustration.... how about you BREATH and just RELAX.... if he said he shipped it and the shipping has been paid for.... give things a chance. Carriers dont always know whats going on... TRUST ME. Just give things time. I know your probably excited and the fact that you paid out money for something your waiting for is stressful.... but just give things a chance.... It will pan out. If you dont get them after a reasonable amount of time... then come here and post it with facts and supporting evidence... Its ok, i understand now... but just give it time... thats all the advice i can give. If the shipping has been paid... thats a GOOD sign....
 
I'm rather relaxed now, but all of these issues gave me a headache and I was so stressed out I needed xanax to settle down. I am probably wrong with all of my posts today. I know I will get them but there is such a definite issue with this shipping. If the carrier picked them up (carrier says Sean has to drop them off) and there is no record of them being at Vitran something is wrong.

I will post pics when I do get my cages.

I would also like proof that they have actually left his shop. I know I'm excited, very excited to get them that I agreed to go pick them all up today which was going to be a very big hassle and half a day driving back and forth. Now, I am not agreeing to pick them up. They need to be delivered to me. I'm not driving 4-5 times now. I agreed to that only because I was told I could have them today.

LST Exotic Pets Bill, good news we are making some changes to Kathy's cages so they are coming out of their boxes and will have their day in front of the camera. We do put out a lot but we only do white on certain days.

LST Exotic Pets The front will look ugly and the top or bottom is a lot more difficult than the back. These are light pvc plastic cages. I have seen a 7 year old move a stack of 6 on a carpet by himself.

Let me jump in here a bit, I am concerned about making my wife happy, I could care less whether her cages are black or white, I don't mess with the snakes, I just wanted speak my piece. Above are some transcripts from facebook where Sean promised my wife he was going to post pics of his white cages, he promised several times and it never happened, now how hard is it to take a pic or 2 and email it or post it on facebook, I do it all the time. Like I said, I could care less but you know how some ladies are, they got to see it. Well we are the couple Sean mentioned in his earlier post that wanted to come out to his shop I just wanted to let my wife see the cages if posting the pics was so hard, I just live right down the road from him. But as you can see in his earlier post that is unheard of. I just wonder if I had bought cages would I have to pay to have them shipped a few miles down the rd. As I said before, I don't really care about any of this, but I do care about my wife and her happiness and I feel Sean not keeping his word to my wife about posting the pics is highly dis-respectful and I am deeply offended, This all could have been avoided on my part by a simple click of the cell phone and a post on facebook. Now I can't by locally because of his attitude and my money not being any good. Enough Said
 
Bill, We have never sold anything to you or had any business dealings with you. So you posting here is ridicules. So is posting negative things on our Facebook. Treating people like crap and posting negative things is not the way to get what you want. We have a site with pictures and a facebook with pictures. Call any other cage or rack builder and ask them to take special pictures for you and they will laugh. If your wife can't see a black cage and make a decision based on that then I am sorry, there are other cage builders our there.

We took pictures of the white cages but I am not going to post them because we will never sell the ones like this again. That is a business decision we made and that is the end of the subject.

Kathy asked for flat cuts instead of bending the corners. We had to write an entirely new CNC program just for this (which she did not have to pay for). The straight ends are not as clean looking as the bent ends because you see the inside of the PVC FoamBoard. So we will NEVER do them again. Basically we sold Kathy a 48x24x14 custom cage with dividers and extra heat for $215 each. As for the 2-3 days that is pure BS, I explained to Kathy that we only do white on Fridays when we are not behind because we have to spend 5 hrs cleaning all the black off of everything before doing the white or you get melted black in the white.

I paid $150 to VITRAN to get her cages there (never used them before and never will again). Kathy now wants the cages delivered to her house (which VITRAN does NOT do in her area) so yesterday I called my broker who said the boxes are still at VITRAN (she put a hold on them) so if I want to drive 30 minutes to VITRAN pick them up and drive another 30 minutes to Southern-eastern Freight to drop them off and then pay $200 to SE Freight (losing the $150 already paid) then they can deliver to her house. So guess what, this afternoon after we finish the cutting of other orders I am going to do this because we try to keep the customers happy.

In this case with Kathy any other builder that heard she had been trying to order these cages from 2 other builders that delayed her 6 weeks and now here I am bending over backwards, losing all our profit in these to make someone happy that will never be happy. We had to get creative in how we got paid (I will not go into details here) where other customers we never have to do that, we had to change the cages several times based on requests and now changing the carrier and paying even more to get the cages to her, and I am a bad guy!

I know some of the other builders out there and after this post would refund the money, leaving your snakes in tubs and make you order from somewhere else. Then turn around and sell these cages for $250 each and make a lot more money. I am not like that and I actually care about you because of some of the personal things you shared with me on the phone. But it is silly that you email me saying not to call you because I will make you feel better on the phone, and then you run to a forum.

But I guess this is modern day business in the internet age. Someone is not 100% happy for whatever reason you can bash the person and company. Someone like Bill that has NEVER done any business with us except being a fan on our facebook page can chime in for no reason.

I guess that is why they now take forums and boards in court as written word so someone saying things about a company with no prior business compensation that is not 100% first hand documented evidence is considered "Liable of Defamation of Character".

I have stated the facts and have been very professional in my communication. I am losing money on this whole transaction but will still be the bigger person and go get the racks to SE Freight and pay even more money just so I can know that I did 110% to try to make someone happy and it just does not matter.
 
Oh this just in, because the boxes were on a truck already and they had to unload part of the truck I just got charged another $100, so Kathy paid $150 shipping and I am paying $450 in shipping.

That is one of the most idiotic statements made on the BOI in a while.


I took photos, you can't see them. I shipped the cages but have no confirmation.


I have a real sore spot when it comes to cage makers that screw over customers and your posts sound just like a typical cage builder (aka theif) who takes money and either delivers crap or nothing at all.

If we post the pictures people want them. So instead of getting what we sell they will want us to make these again which we will not do.

And there is a confirmation of shipping, and now there is another for the new shipping.

Actually I am sorry for the last comment. Being called a thief when we are trying to do everything to make this customer happy including now losing money on the whole order hurts.

We started this company because we have the machines and we wanted people to be able to get a quality product without the high price. We also wanted people to be able to order custom products. To that end saying we will never build something a certain way is not saying we are here for your custom needs. In the future we just need to charge more for the custom work like this.

I ordered a lot of cages and racks in my time and I too have a bad taste in my mouth for a lot of what is out there. I don't want to be in that category and that is why this is so frustrating.

Tell me about it. It seems most of the scammers are cage builders (Alan Hall, Josh Sharp, the neodesha, etc.)

I can understand not wanting to make custom cages but at least send the photos to the buyer with confirmation of shipping. That should end this.
 
Here I can do one better.

Like I said we reordered the shipping for the carrier that will bring the cages right to her door. Here is the confirmation from our broker, so everyone on the board can track her packages if you would like!

Like I said before, I don't care about these cages, I am not real keen on these snakes, and I could care less if you ever build another cage but to tell a potential customer several times that you are going to post pics of something that she maybe purchasing from you and have her sitting up waiting and then you never do it. Thats not right. Why not tell the customer in the first place that you are not posting any pics. This is my gripe, I have nothing to do about what has happened between you and Kathy, she is another customer and "YOU" can deal with her. i just know she has been venting to my wife because you had promised her the pics too. Its like you said, I have never bought anything from you, and I never will. Aren't you lucky, cause then you would have to deal with my wife.
 
Ran in to print out an order and saw this. All I will say is Bill you better get keen on them because with snakes it is addictive. Before you know it there will be 100's in your house!
