    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hi hi, are you open to selling just the female or only as a pair? And if so, how much would the female alone cost?
You do realize that LTC (= 'wild collected, captive for some time period that someone thinks is "long") graminea are smuggled, right? No wild specimens of this species have legally entered the US (at least in the last nine years since they were CITES listed, anyway). Also, the most recent previous ad from this seller was demonstrated with evidence that the animals in that ad were smuggled.

LOL I respect trying to educate the public, but I'm going to go ahead and guess that most people looking into buying Abronias on MM or FC are likely to know common reptile hobby nomenclature, or at least have the sense to Google an unknown acronym before making a purchase.

I skimmed the post about the Terrapene nelsoni, presuming that is what you are referencing, but there wasn't really definitive evidence of illegal activity. Even if we say that the species hasn't been imported since 2009, they can live quite a bit upwards of 25 years (which is irrelevant if you accept the claim that they were CB). So whether the aforementioned evidence is conclusive seems to be a subjective matter.
Going back to the species I am inquiring about though, when it comes to Abronia graminea, 41 of them were last exported to the US in 2024.

Educating the public and favoring conservationism are great goals, but throwing around inconclusive evidence doesn't strike me as being the best approach to tackling what you presume to be suspected poaching.

The ad is for WC animals.

The CITES listings you posted are for CB animals (that's the source code 'C' in the far right column).

That's why I explained what 'LTC' means, but I guess I didn't do a very good job of it. I'll try to be more clear in the future.
