But, let me tell you my funny Vet situation....

My Vet follows me around, anywhere I go he is right there... I meet him in California in 1993 and he moved to Arizona a few weeks after I did in 1996. He even goes herping with me to Mexico and Central America. LOL

You almost got me! For a second I thought "Wow this guy must have a lot of common sence to really think I have only deal with one Vet." I almost thought you were serious.

I have a policy to refrain from posting private messages that are sent to me. I also will not standby while someone posts falsehoods unchallenged. I will say that Luis has already confirmed my post. He has also confirmed most of what he posted was not the truth yesterday. Luis lacks the ability to afford the necropsy or shipping at this time. I can understand his problems but they are not Matt’s problems. My suggestion Luis, would be to hand the BP’s over
to Rick ASAP. Don’t blame me for catching your untruths. Again, I can sympathize but no one here put you in your predicament. Be honest and correct this.
 
Denis Hultman is GOD..............man u deserve an A+ in my books.........iam just wondering how he posted all the receipts for necropsy and everything.

So the truth finally comes out!?!?!? Luis do really have a job now? I am not trying to pry into your private life as it really doesn't pertain to this thread but it does say something about your honesty. I truly don't understand why you ever entered in this transaction with Matt if you KNEW you would not have the money to keep your end of the deal. It is nothing to be ashamed of to hit bad times but you don't go making deals with people you know you can't go through with. We have all been there at one point of another in our lives. Do the right thing and hand over the balls and let this end now before you it goes any further. I hope you listen to reason my friend.

OK useless I've read this wrong (its possible) But you go herping with your Vet ???? Then if this is so that would make him some what of a friend right ??? Why didn't you give the boa to him ???? and have him do the testing ???? And please don't say because of the cost.....It cost a Vet alot less to do the testing, then it does the general public (everything has its mark up) and also why doesn't he look at your animals on a regular bases ??? Mine does and she lives on the otherside of town and even comes to my house when I call................ Rick I am truly sorry if the post above hit a nerve. That was not my intention. It just Pisses me off that people put money over the health of their animals. As you have seen in many post people send out their animal (which lived a healthy life) then after the animal does the breeding, It mysteriously dies. then its a giant war trying to get to the bottom of all of it....Also I in no way think Matt's boa had any health problems while in his care. I think that this all happened in Luis's (IE) got RI the heat was raised and was given a shot or 2 of antibiotics and when that didn't work up went the heat and the dosage all the while no humidity and the boas dies of heatstroke. If this was me and not Matt I would ask for the cash value of the snake and if Luis didn’t have the cash……SELL SOMETHING (Not A snake) and get it

Here is something else I don’t understand and it may be different in other parts of the country when my wife took my dog to the vet her name appeared on the receipt ….Now if Luis’s sister took it to the vet why is his name there.. I maybe wrong but this whole thing sounds to off the wall…. Luis step up and do the right thing and stop with the LIEING you have been busted …Now pay for your crime.All above is JMHO

No worries. The nerve was already struck, and not by You. I was more agreeing with You. I do not understand how anyone can place a dollar amount above the health of any animal. Just as some people do not understand My attachment to a snake, or My actions when finding a neglected animal. (And I do act on it often in this area of the US, being involved with the local rescue.) Perhaps these same experiences has lended a hand to My reactions in this case. I do not know. I just know I feel the need at this point to ACT.

I think Luis was being sarcastic to point out that he has not had the same vet that keeps killing his animals because someone pointed out that they would not keep taking animals to the same vet if that vet was killing them or letting them die. Luis was trying to point out that he has moved many times and has not used the same vet.

One would have to assume you have taken animals to your "friend" the vet. If everyone of them has died, I would focus more on the friendship. If it's true he goes herping with you all across Mexico and Central America one would assume he knows quite a bit about reptiles. But........... according to your post, he obviously lacks basic knowledge of reptiles if he can't even keep them alive.

But wait, you don't use him as vet do you. It was other vets that couldn't save your animals, huh? You keep on trying to sell those lies. I've been down the path of lying myself. Quit now, and save at least a little bit of face.

The Necropsy was paid For. There is no other way to get Receipts or ultimately Results.

Rick has posted that he would not mind helping out... If Matt agree for the Balls to go to Rick. The Balls will go to Rick, along with a shipping box, etc.

I was not at Work yesterday. Dennis knows why. Oh well. Luis.

Yes I was Being Sarcastic about the one Vet Thing. You were joking about using one Vet So I was joking about a "funny Vet story". I have deal with many Vets, some are better than others. There are a few good ones in Phoenix. The best one is in Tucson. Luis
 
Well, maybe we are starting to come to some sort of a resolution to this deal. Yes, I will help out. BUT.........and here comes the good part.........If I am to play the mediator role, it will be played by MY rules.

1. If I am to take possession of the ball pythons in question, all corespondance involving the ball pythons will take place here at fauna, in the eyes of the public. No exceptions.

2. Me acquiring these ball pythons does not warrant an immediate shipment of said animals to Matt. I will wait for the necropsy report just as I stated. This also is non negotiable.

3. If the necropsy results do not prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the snake had some long term ailment that may have caused it's premature death, than I ship them to Matt. I mean by long term ailment, some disease laying dormant, some possible abnormalities in the snakes internal workings from birth. (We all know this has been known to happen with albinos.) You get the picture.

4. If the necropsy does prove beyond a doubt that the snake had some other underlying long term problem, like mentioned above, I will ship back to Luis.

5. If the results cannot pinpoint the exact cause of death, than this is concidered a reasonable doubt, and Matt will receive his reptiles ASAP.


Now, both of you need to publicly agree to this, and by so doing, it is in My hands, and I do not want to hear from either of you how I done you wrong because the outcome did not go YOUR way.

I would also suggest that both Matt and Luis send you, Rick, $50 EACH for shipping the balls one direction or the other, and whoever loses.... gives up his $50 to you, Rick, as a Mediator fee....

Well, maybe if I did this stuff for a living, I could justify doing a mediator fee. But I don't do this often, (I'm just not that nice of a guy. :D) so I will leave that up to them.

For now, I am off to My vet for some further questioning, and to see if He would not mind looking at the necropsy report when it is placed here, so that we all might have an unbiased translation if it is needed.
