Now I know that the user name reptilianfreak, real last name is NUNEZ.

Buddy's is Munoz. They do a lot of business with each other, and I believe Nunez lives somewhere near Buffalo.

I'll have to check more into this.
 
Cloveflowers ads have now disappeared. Thankfully. There is no way i would ever buy anything off of Reptibid. They need to make it so that you can not have more than 1 user name.
 
Although there are a lot of scammers on Reptibid, there are also a lot of good people too.

I have had 26 flawless transactions on there, both as a Buyer and as a Seller. Only one "deal gone bad", and that was due to a raving nutcase that was later banned from Reptibid, several months ago.

You just have to watch out for, and try to expose, the scammers. There are always going to be "wanna be reptile dealers" who misrepresent thier reptiles and try to make a hefty profit off of a lie...those people are everywhere.

The two rules I always keep in kind when I buy something off of Reptibid:

"If something sounds too good to be true, it probably is."

and

"Go with your gut instinct."

I have wanted to bid on certain reptiles on there sooo badly, but have had a bad feeling about the Seller. In at least 2 instances where the Seller proved to be a fraud (and once was in this case, the Lynn Wood matter). I do not usually buy from someone who zero feedback. If they have feedback then I usually read it carefully and sometimes even check with the person who left the feedback. LOL, in one instance, the person who replied to me about the seller being "wonderful" had the SAME e-mail address of the Seller. Hmmm...after a little more digging, I reported my findings to Reptibid and the person was banned.

If I find something I really want and the Seller has no feedback I will usualy contat them and ask for thier full name, address and phone number. Then I call them and discuss the reptile in question. Sometimes I even go as far as doing a "reverse search" on something like www.switchboard.com or www.anywho.com to see if the phone number matches up with the address the person gave me. In one situation I fell it saved me from being ripped off. The guy I called couldn't explain why the phone number he gave me was listed to another name in another state, 600 miles from him.

So, yeah, buying off of Reptibid requires a little work. Sometimes more than it's worth. BUT, the number of great deals I've gotten and the wonderful people I have met from Reptibid are all worth it to me, but that's just my opinion.

FYI, I have also "banned" from bidding on any of my auctions a HUGE list of names of "bad" bidders and people who I just don't trust, that sometimes helps too.

And yes I was defensive in the beginning but that was because I believed buddy, my fault and trust me I have learned that the hard way. Now I know that you have went way out of your way to make me look like a scam and that doesn't even madder any more. But just so you will know heres the truth. Regardless of her "ignorance" of the Ball Pythons and the "het" thing and someone else lying to her...she STILL had her family and herself leave good feedback and "win" auctions from her to leave the feedback. To me, and obviously to Reptibid, that is construed not as "ignorance" but as FRAUD.

Even if Lynn didn't understand about genetics, it doesn't change the fact that she defrauded possible buyers by having fake feedback to make people trust her.

If she just got into the business maybe she should have done at least a small amount of research first regarding things like "het" and so forth.

I could have forgiven a new reptile person being confused, ignorant, or whatever, but not when they also lie, defraud and when they get their family involved in threatening others.

If Lynn would have told everyone from the beginning the truth about where these snakes came from, things may have been very different for her.

Because some dealer at a show had "hets on his table" that makes these snakes "het" for something? I didn't know that het for albino was CONTAGIOUS! Hell, I'm taking all my Ball Pythons to my friend Kim's house and seeing if they can be contaminated by her Albino Ball Python and come down with a case of the "hets".

Sorry, I had to say it. But that statement made by Buddy struck me as...well...I can't even think of the right word for it, except that when I read it for the 3rd time I slapped myself on the head and said "DUH!"
 
The Funny part is that supposed conversation was posted earlier today on Reptibid by the user Discountrepitile. Discountrepitile was one that was defending her in that Q&A. I have a feeling that Discountrepitile is one of her aliases as well. If it was not her then how would he have the private IM's. Still too coincidental to me. And I agree she still did deceive the public and if she was just a newbie she should have listened to more experienced people regarding the genetics issue.
 
I think that the only thing this loser lynn is a newbie at is being BUSTED in her scams.

She has no remorse for trying to rip people off and constantly tries to make it about her being put on by everyone else. All the I'm sorries she's said have always been to garner sympathy, not show that she knew she was wrong and wanted to make it better.

This girl is a FIRST CLASS LIAR. She's trying to start and keep a pity party going for her to take the heat off of her own self-made problems. She has most likely run other scams and not been caught before. And here I am supposing but, who needs that many aliases on one site and leaves so many feedbacks for herself and still has any honesty.

I for one will not attend this pitiful little pity party she keeps trying to start. Pathetic doesn't quit seem sufficient to describe her.

*snrk* Yep. I guess I will now be advertising my copperheads as het for legs. After all they've been around people long enough. My big adult breeders are absolute sweethearts and they get a lot of (safe) handling during routine cage maintenance. So I guess now their offspring will be het for legs. Cool. I can sell them for $45K.

I had a Jameson's mamba that ate finches - I guess I could have sold him as het for wings. LOL
 
There is now another Auction supposedly from Miami that sounds oh so familiar with Lynn's auction. Now I am not saying it is her but it is very similar to her story. Below are the Q/A from that auction. I have deleted the other person's e-mail from the post but that is all that I changed. It just does not sound legitimate as the other auction did not.

They are eating fuzzies. No gurantee on Albino Babys. Thoguh they will produce them as I am most deffinetly shure. I do not gurantee all the babys to be Albino. There is a Live arival, sex, and health gurantee. These guys are very strong and extremily healthy.....thanks

I am confused. You say your breeder did not think he would need them *papers* when he started the breeding generation. Did you produce these 2 animals or did he? If you produced them why can you not guarantee their genetics? What animals were bred to produce them?

I also have other information that is going to prove what I am saying. This all got turned into a big mess and everyone talked but no one listened to me. I wasn't trying to scam anyone. That is pitiful. They are still allowing her to post items for sale even after she was proven as a con and rip off. I am half tempted to post on her questions and let all bidders know that most if not all of her positive feedback came from fake users and or her supposed father.
