Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Im so tired of hearing the words "im to busy" in the reptile world.
Man, if someone is going to send you thousands of dollars for a snake you call them back if things are going slow. You dont ignore them and never return calls. Unfortuantly, half the stories I hear nowadays are like that. There is only a few people out there you can trust. It is just crazy the amount of excuses that always come up now.

You are right. There are people in this business that I have spent tens of thousands and even much more than that with and they can't be bothered to return a phone call. It is total bulls#$%!

I only have one phone line and I use the computer modem on it as well. So instead of calling I may email somebody back if I am online when they email me but I try to get back to everybody. If it takes a day or two that happens, but not an extended period of time. Evan Stahl
 
PS Ken editing the tittle is not violating anyones first ammendment rights.

One the tittle was against TOS.

Two it is Ken's job to fix such things.
If he did not do it...I would have.

I reread the rules for posting. Best I can tell, Paul's use of the word "rape" in the title did not fall under the "acceptable titles" for a post. Yet now (10:45 p.m. 5/30/03), sitting here on just the first page of the BOI are 7 other postings that do not fit those rules either and they are not being edited.

PS Ken editing the tittle is not violating anyones first ammendment rights.

Maybe not, but it was not level handed either. The word "rape" offended some people and because of that it got "edited." Like I said, I just find it funny for someone who is so outspoken about the right to bear arms, as to make his opinion heard on every single post he makes, to be offended enough by a four letter word to begin "editing" (a nice way of saying censoring) posts. Perhaps he should seek employment w/ Walmart they sell guns, but edit music, videos and non refuse to sell certain magazines. As well as tell thier customers what drugs are ok to buy.

Rules must apply to all, lest we find ourselves living in a monarchy.
 
Brian, if I had seen the thread before Ken, I probably would have deleted it entirely. But I have, and will again, edited topic lines that I felt were not appropriate. Sorry if you don't like the way it is here, but that IS the way it is.

If you want to become involved in a discussion about how myself or the moderators run this place, there are forums where you are welcome to do that. But this thread is NOT one of them.

Fo reveryone arguing the editing of the title, what does it really matter? The only difference between the first title and the new title is that Rich is a nice enough guy to let everybody use this site free of charge and stupid posts open him up to possible liabilities that he does not deserve. All the title change did was lessen the risk of him being a party involved in a legal issue by proxy. As far as harping on gun rights/freedom of speech, they are not an issue here. Again, it is not your site or Ken's. What is in Rich's best interest and the best interest of the existence of this site are the priorities. Drop the arguments irrelevant to the topic. Doesn't "M Whitefeather, Bad guy" pretty much make the point?

Rape is down right libelous. You are accusing someone of a criminal offense punishable by Jail time.

What other words do you see? the BOI has not been moving much lately. So I checked out the first two pages.
Inquiry , bad guy, possible dishonest seller, good guy, great guy, beware, good service, I'm not happy, fishy.
looking = inquiring = inquiry
question=inquiring=inquiry
buyer beware = bad guy
fishy= poss bad guy
i'm not happy = deal went bad (bad guy)
anyone have a problem with him? = inquiry
anyone know = inquiry

The rules are being bent and we know it. We understand. We are reasonable. But there comes a point when enough is enough. There comes a point when someone will cross a line in the sand. If you feel your rights are violated.......go to a site that will delete anything remotely negative.


We do not need someone posting on here about someone else getting raped and opening up possible libel. How would you like it if someone posted on a tittle that you RAPED them.

My point. Ken is doing his job. We do not single out anyone. If we did we would be put back in our place immediately.
Second point. Rules can be bent a little. But there is a "snapping" point where the rules can no longer bend and crosses over into breaking land.

And if you feel your rights were violated. Take it over to web wars and forum foibles.


Now back to Micheal Featherweight. He keeps complaining on bobclark forums that he can't sign on. Tell the guy to click on the link in his e-mail. Tell him it might help him to read a little.
 
Never said he couldn't/shouldn't/wouldn't do it. Just said I found it funny.

Rape is a word with several meanings. One of those meanings is abusive or improper treatment. I think taking someones money and then not giving them thier snakes qualifies as "improper." I can accept the fact that some people keep an SKS with two 30 round clips taped back-to-back underneath thier bed just incase a rabid deer knocks down thier front door. But yall should accept that Paul's use of the word rape doesn't have anything to do with Mr. Whitefeather's penis.

That fits a lot of posts on the BOI.

To get back to the topic at hand.
I see from the other site that Mr. Whitefeather has said that he sent Todd's money back to him, yet again. Let us know please, if and when you receive it.
I also see that Mr. Whitefeather has enough time to post on forums, thus in my mind, has time to take care of his business as well.
Mr. Whitefeather said he will deal with Paul here on the BOI. I for one am looking forward to him coming on here and clearing things up, that is if he can find his way to registering on this forum.
