Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

And I apologize for the double post but...

I just have to ask - you say you told the ex why you are selling the snake, but didn't say that he was okay with it. Is he?

Bad break up or not I'd be rather upset if my ex sold my ball park 1,000 dollar snake on me.

Who in there right mind wud leave such an expensive snake behind? I know I would have said what needed to be said and made DAMN sure I grabbed the snake

I just hate that he had to do it to me for everyone to find out.

I can believe that.

I messaged you a scan of the invoice on facebook. I don't want everyone having my personal business on here. You can let them know that you recieved it.

If you don't show proof here, don't expect anyone to believe you. And if you decline to show something as simple as a vet bill, why would anyone believe anything you said?

Bad break up or not

I have doubts that there was a bf at all. As you pointed out,

Who in there right mind wud leave such an expensive snake behind? I know I would have said what needed to be said and made **** sure I grabbed the snake

The whole problem was that i refunded his money without letting him know before hand. How this has to do with ex I have no idea but there are 2 reasons why I'm selling his snake. One being that he purposly left it at my house. She was bought with money that i gave him! he told me he was going to pay me back in 2 weeks and i never got the money. So when he started that whole "fine take all your stuff back" thing he left her and a water monitor. Only because I bought him the monitor for his birthday and I guess he realized that the snake was mine because I pretty much paid for it. I texted him to let him know that he needed to come get them because I didn't want them here but that i didn't want to be here when he came. He said no. Reason number 2! I left 3 bearded dragons at his house (silkback, blood, and leather). His sister texted me to let me know that he had taken them somewhere! He didn't take them back home so i assume he sold them on craigslist or something. I texted him myself to find out where they were and he said "you wanna leave me fine. they left me too". He also has my xbox! which he won't give back to me. i don't want to see him anymore so I don't want to deal with him. You can't sue for personal property here in Texas without proof of purchase. I one the other hand have proof of purchase for the xbox, and 2 of the dragons. Plus it wasn't his money that bought the snake. Im not selling her on fauna anymore. The posting has been taken off.

A long paragraph. Zero proof. And you ignored the vet invoice request, which you say you have.

So far, it's still looking like tuna to me.

here is the invoice. May be hard to read but you can easily see the date visit was 7/2/2011 and paid on 7/2/2011.

it says office visit, fecal examination/flotation, iverhart max purple, antib. Baytril enrofloxacin, multi discount (because i took 3 pets to vet). my total was $199.00

I don't see how this will fix anything but okay.

It does not show the patient or the diagnosis, that should be there on the invoice as well.

So let me get this straight. You give the bf a thousand bucks which is what the board is saying this critter is worth. He buys it. Y'all break up and you claim he will not retrieve the snake. So you decide to sell it on fb for not $1,000, but for $100, when you claim it is your money that bought the snake?

Really? You expect us to believe you KNEW the value because you gave the funds for it's original purchase, and yet you were going to sell for a hundred?

Tuna.

Please explain the bold. He bought the snake with the money you gave him? Yet you have no clue whatsoever how much this snake is actually worth? One would think that a snake of that caliber would have had some recognition. Unless money grows on tree's where you come from. And of course if thats the case why not sell the animal for the original price? If not to the OP to another responsible buyer.

That is of course when its over its "RI"

Working from my phone, so I didn't want to go through the trouble of copy and pasting a single statement from your post. You said your ex bought the snake with money you gave him, yet you have no idea how much the snake is worth? Did he not tell you how much he spent on it, or by some dumb luck chance did he happen to acquire that snake at a super low price from someone else who had no idea how much it was worth? That if anything so far in this thread seems a bit off to me.

why does it need to? I've never gotten a vet bill with a diagnosis on it. The invoice is for what you were charged for the vet visit. The vet writes the diagnosis in HIS notes and tells the customer the diagnosis. I have about 5 other invoices from this vet and none have a diagnosis on it. And no! my ex didn't pay a lot for the snake. I gave him $250. I just don't want her here anymore. I don't deal with snakes. I have a cornsnake and ball python only because they are known to be the most docile. I had her on fauna for $170 shipped please tell me how thats more than what he paid? He had the money for 2 days before he spent it. And I know that he spent some for gas and food. So im assuming what he had left was around $180-$200. Yes it was my money that he bought her with. I don't think the guy who sold it to him knew what kind of blood she was. I believe he had 3 for sale and my ex picked which one he wanted. I had no idea what she was either until everyone said something. But thats no reason to sit here and accuse me of "not listing it for a high enough price". I looked up blood pythons on here and online and I saw that they only go for around $100-$150 at her age. I never said he paid $1000 for a snake!! i would never give a guy $1000!

I'm pretty sure we all believe that you didn't shell out the grand for the snake. What we are saying is this snake is worth around a 1000$ from what other people have said, yet your boyfriend aquired it off the 250$ you gave him? That means .....

-The seller who sold the snake to your boyfriend, didn't know what it is

-Your boyfriend didn't know what he bought (because I sure as hell wouldn't leave a 1000$ snake with my ex GF, I wouldn't leave a 10$ corn with any of them ;))

-And YOU yourself didn't know what you had.

Thats three people who had no idea they had a very expensive blood.

as Lucille would say, Tuna

lol

lol It's OK to give a guy two fifty but not a grand.

I think you are lying. Your credibility is zero.

your credibility doesn't really matter to me. You've been on my case since the beginning of this for no apparent reason. You keep trying to find things to argue about lol. Im finding it quite amusing actually because someone messaged me warning me about people like you who have nothing better to do then to make people feel like crap and try to ruin their name on fauna.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! what kind of person just gives someone $1000!! $250 is not unreasonable! i loved him but $1000 is going overboard! the most i've ever let him borrow was $300 and that was for a traffic ticket. if your going to find something to argue about at least make it worth it instead of wasting my time please and thank you!

So when you did your research on bloods, did it not occur to you that what you have on your hands is not just an average snake? Did you bother to research blood morphs? Plenty of people will get angry if they see a snake being sold at what they believe to be too low of a price. It's a lot of hours put into caring and breeding animals for certain genetic traits. For every $1,000 snake being sold at $200, there will be 50+ people who will no longer buy that snake at $1,000, causing a ripple effect bringing down the price altogether. I would say the people putting in the effort to breed these animals have a right to be angry to see their work being sold off at a fraction of the price.

I just told you that the guy who sold it to him obviously didn't know what he had. my ex told me that he picked the prettiest one out of the 3. He has tons of snakes and he does it mostly because he thinks their pretty. Hes not the type to buy top dollar snakes like some people. I most definitly didn't know what she was. I just thought she was a normal blood python. Thats what i was told. If it were to have been a beardie I could tell you how much its worth without a problem. Im not a snake person. Haven't you ever gone somewhere like an antique shop or flea market and you find something pretty at a cheap price and come to find out its worth money!? Thats how this played out. I don't know how yall are smelling tuna but maybe you should do something about it because that stuff smells =)

If they get mad because the price isn't high enough then thats on them. I know how much i gave my ex which was nowhere near $1000. No I didn't look up blood python morphs because I didn't know she was one. I figured if she was sold around $150-$200 then she must be a normal. Sorry I didn't know she was worth more. I don't know about some people but when i see a good deal on something i buy it. I don't see why this is a problem. The guy bought it for $170 (i had no complaints about that). But now everyone wants to complain because it was too cheap!!?? come on now!
