    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Mark Jukes, Reptile realm

"eloquence" REALLY? You're the one who has nothing better to do on a Friday night, first one of the New Year but go at a family man who, while home with his family, defends from a total stranger, somehow who somehow got his thong bunched-up over ME owing another stranger, ...wait for it...ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS. Yeah, I'm so eloquent . No just bored. And you're barely getting my full attention. Did you read what I just said about being a drop-out?

No one here is mistaken. Your long winded rants speak for themselves. The worst part of all this nonsense is that all you needed to do was pay the seller and all would be forgotten but instead you came on here and opened your mouth. Now your name will forever be associated with this mess. There is no editing and it will not just go away.

Unfortunately I cannot tell you anymore of what I really think because infractions annoy the hell out of me but I hope you do open that imaginary business so that the world can put you in your place.

I'm in no way a moderator on this site(though I wish I was), but can we please stop the name calling from all parties and try to keep this on track about the debt owed.

I do sincerely wish you luck in your future endeavor. I do hope you conduct yourself in a professional and HONEST manner so that you will be successful and your children will learn that integrity, honesty and hard work do pay off. I commend your honesty in admitting you owe Josh the hundo.

We all (well, most of us) have kids, we all have bills, we all have hardships and obstacles to overcome every single solitary day. Most of us have had harships and obstacles in our pasts as well. Some of us (definately not me though, lol) have hundreds of friends on Facebook.

We just don't yammer on & on about it or use those "cards" to gain favor or try to defend questionable decisions/actions ... in fact, a little humility is a good thing to teach your kids as you teach them tenacity and determination and honesty. Brevity is a good thing also - I've been told that many, many times :)

That said, you claim the monitor died as a result of a FedEx shipping delay. Did you let Josh know that there was a problem in shipping? Neither you or Josh happened to mention a problem in shipping from the beginning.

Did Josh give you a tracking number when she shipped? Has either of you contacted FedEx about the delay? Why wasn't that brought up at the beginning of this thread?

Just take care of this $100 debt ASAP and move on ..
 
make a phone call to buzz &bee in erie pa ask them how much money this guy owes them.

We have personally had dealings with Mark in the past and just speaking on our own experience had deduced that Mark can and has been extremely unprofessional in many aspects. We have had people who are familiar with Discovery Reptiles email us stating that there are things being posted on the Reptile Realm Facebook page that appears to be directed towards Discovery Reptiles. We communicate with Louie Psihoyos who is the executive director for the Oceanic Preservation Society, at the end of the multiple award winning movie The Cove it states to text DOLPHIN to 44144 to help save Dolphins in Taiji, Japan. Reptile Realm sought to attack the fact that we were posting that on our facebook page and this was brought to our attention by one of the members we have on our mailing list.

Mark Jukes has acted extremely unprofessional towards me and towards other animal keepers that we're affiliated with. Discovery Reptiles supported Mark Jukes and Reptile Realm in the early stages but due to Marks personal attitude and unprofessionalism Discovery Reptiles backed out of supporting Reptile Realm.

Sadly, Mark stated early on that he had the desire to breed and sell Reticulated Pythons, Burmese Pythons and other exotic reptiles which appeared to be a way to make money instead of focusing on educating the public which is something else that Discovery Reptiles didn't support. From our own observation and interactions with Reptile Realm it is almost as if Mark has used RR to boost his own popularity instead of focusing on the educational aspect of running a facility. Part of what gives us the opinion of Mark using RR to boost popularity was when fans of Discovery Reptiles emailed us stating Mark was posting women in provocative positions on RR's facebook page, the reason they were emailing us is because they wanted to know if Discovery had any affiliation with RR since Discovery is a family orientated business.

As we've stated just by our own interactions and what we've heard from Reptile Realm and Mark Jukes its not surprising that this situation happened nor do we recommend anyone to donate any animals to Reptile Realm or Mark Jukes personally. We do not feel just from communicating with Mark Jukes in the past that he has adequate experience or knowledge handling and caring for highly exotic species.

Again, Discovery Reptiles and it's staff did support Mark Jukes and Reptile Realm in its early stages but with further communication, interaction and seeing the level of unprofessionalism Discovery Reptiles no longer supports RR or Mark Jukes in any capacity. We are saddened that this has happened though and hope all is rectified as soon as possible. Thank you.

He's changed the grand opening date of the "reptile realm" every time it was close to the grand opening, then giving a different excuse to why. I think he's just scamming honest people into giving giving him animals he couldn't afford to buy. :shrug01:
