    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Matt Martin-Monster Cages sold fake genetics, and now won't answer for it.

in theory, lucille, it sounds all well and good, but it wont happen. some people are pre-disposed to flying off the handle at the drop of a hat.

that being said, i actually can see both sides. Is matt a little premature for coming right out and presumably selling these snakes as definite dh blizzards, when a blizzard hasnt been made yet? i can see that.
is angel/jesus premature in starting this thread as a bad guy right off the bat rather than even maybe an inquiry or info thread ?? i see that as well.

id like to see a shot of the true paperwork that matt sent with the snakes. and what he labeled them as.

Once again, its clear you haven't read anything..... as all of those questions were already answered. No paperwork came with the snakes from Matt. The snakes were shipped from Matt to my brother as my brother traded Matt 3 grand worth of retics for them. My brother still has them in his collection. Those snakes were sold as het blizzards, which was proven by a screenshot of one of Matt's very own ads. There is absolutely no mention of them being possible hets or the genetics aren't proven. Did I jump the gun by posting this....NO...as that was also proven by a screenshot of Matt saying that its a new morph on his FB group page, yet he came here and lied and said he didn't and it wasn't when its shown that he did
 
I told you reticguy that I would use Matt's own words to show he's a liar.....and I did just that
 
I'm also willing to bet anything that if he could sell those snakes as het blizzard, he will sell those babies as "Abyss"

Seriously though, I've been stalking this thread and more and more it just seems like someone is upset that they took a risk and it didn't pan out and now really really just want their money back. I don't think that's how it works in a gamble. (If it does, man have I been doing it wrong at the casino)

Angel, once again, let me make my point that if you insult your readership you will go nowhere.
This is a big issue for you, because if you continue talking to people this way, you won't get anywhere in life.

I suggest you write any responses to this thread on a piece of paper, and look at the response an hour or two later. Is it courteous? Does it apply to the situation? There is nothing wrong with posting your opinion, that is what this forum is for. But you need to do it in a way that will make your words count, and make those words work for you, not against you.
 
I've tried that....and it doesn't work. The vast majority of post here aren't even relevant, as the proof as written by MATT himself has been posted to show him as a liar. People keep talking this "possible" genetic crap... I proves matt a liar by posting his OWN for sale ad that clearly shows no mention of the genetics not being proven, or being "possible" hets. Everyone of the lies he has posted in this thread has been proven with screenshots of his OWN words.......So why do people feel the need to post idiotic posts about things that have been PROVEN a lie
 
will anybody else (except for angel/jesus), please quote the exact line where it says matt is lying ?? i am on my phone, maybe i just cant read all of it or something. i see where he is calling this new looking animal "abyss" again which is just a name he gave to a cool/different looking animal. i dont see anywhere where he calls the abyss genetic. also, he calls it a new morph, but it doesnt mean its genetic untill he proves the abyss, and im not seeing where he calls it genetic. all im sayin, if i inquired (which i was thinking about getting in on this "blizzard" thing awhile ago, no matter how he advertised it for, a blizzard has not been produced, so i would over used common sense and went into it knowing, untill they prove out a blizzard or until the genetics of the ones i got produce a blizzard, its all just a possibility

I don't either. I see where he is/ was selling het blizzards, but how does it prove he is lying? Further down in same screenshot if I remember correctly, goes on to say that it hasn't proved out yet. Plus, your screenshots look like they are pieced together.
Use a computer instead of your phone to take the screenshots.... that way we can see the whole thing, not what you choose to show us.

Better yet, provide a link to this "proof".
 
Ya I'm with yall... Looked at the "posts in question". In the first screenshot you posted there is no mention of dh blizzards - is that your "lie"? Matt says you tried to sell them but in the brief messages you posted there isn't specific mention of this? Weak...

Second one you copied and pasted random comments to a different picture, still obviously no lie. Unless you mean when he said DH blizzard. In a picture comment, not an ad. Sorry, guess he should have said "POSSIBLE" DH blizzard, when talking to his friends on facebook.... Still not a lie.

This is exactly what I was talking about in my last post.....smh....to call anything a "morph" is to imply that it is genetic, not some nice looking normal snake. A tiger is a MORPH...

No, I disagree completely. Most morphs are genetic, but some are line-bred. Ex. Miami cornsnakes, Okeetee corns, SHTCT leopard geckos, etc.

These are NOT "genetic" per se, as your definition implies (you mean Mendelian inheritance btw).

Morph is a term coined by herp people to describe a specific "morphology", or "appearance" of a group or set of animals. While most follow Mendelian inheritance patterns, they are not necessarily strictly genetic.
 
i never take a "new named morph" as that it is automatically genetic. now, maybe thats just me. most everything was called the morph it is/was before it was proven genetic. same with the sunfire/suntiger het amels (i havent kept on this), but i believe they were called something (rather than sunfire or suntiger het amels).
i do research, if the genes/morphs in question have not proven out (which the blizzard has not been made yet, therefore its unproven, but doesnt mean that the genes to make the possible blizzard arent proven, they just havent proven out compatible to make the blizzard yet), then i go into the animals as a possible hets (or poss dh in this case) no matter what i am told or have read. i have never seen where matt said he has produced a blizzard, therefore, common sense resorts that they are at best, poss dh hets, whether thats how he phrases or veralizes it or not, its what i know
