I see a lot of ppl are saying to just dispute it or i am asking for trouble and that may be but like i said before i cant just end it that way...it is just not who i am. if i am in a disagreement with another person weather it be any of you, my wife or a stranger on the street, i will try everything to work it out regardless of how deserving they are.
after the last email i got from Matt trying to tell me to close it and i saying i wouldn’t i got this email from him.
in between this i did escalate it with paypal like i said i did a few posts above and they closed the dispute saying they cant do anything about it...
here is his response to me after i told him i would not close it...

Since you cannot seems to abide by the terms you agreed to when you ordered I will be closing the dispute and let paypal handle the problem. It will take about 60 days(they say 30 but dont beleive it) Then after that we can work out the details.. Sorry you couldent be more human!
after this email i got an email from payapl telling me they cant help so i called my cc comp they said i should send the emails in and i would get my money back.
in this email i gave him another chance to resolve it, at this point he must have also got an email from paypal saying the dispute was closed, but that doesnt get him out of being in dispute with my cc comp if I chose to dispute it.
so i send him this email...

I am not sure how Paypal works, they are telling me to use my credit card company.
if you dont want to resolve this by sending me the right unit i will go ahead and give my cc comp all of your emails and they will deal with the issue. i have no prob with that but i would still very much like you to resolve this the right way. if i dont hear back from you by tonight i will send everything out tomm.

The thing is you want it you way and thats it.. I am not in this business for you I am in it for me.. Now that being said I have to do right by you to continue in this business for any length of time. I havent been doing this goin on 5 years screwing people over. I havent picked up your box yet but should have it in my hands tomorrow of the next day. As soon as I have it I will put a wired unit in the same box and ship it.. This is all pending on the paypal complaint. If you want to use your credit card company that is fine I honestly dont care. If you want your thermostat end the complaint, if you want a long drawn out process then we can continue!

the claim is over with paypal and like you said I don't want a long drawn out anything with my company.
like I said when this whole ordeal started I have ordered from you before and have been happy, you responded to my emails and i got what i paid for.
the post office said that if you dont go and accept it it they will send it back to me automatically, so please go and get it asap.
mind you i dont think you will be able to use the same box to fit in a 6 outlet strip in there with the power supply as well.
i will send nothing to my CC comp for now and i just ask that you email me when you get it and when you ship the new unit out.
lets just get this behind us
i expect a tracking # before this week is over for my new unit, do you think that is fair and possible?

so it sounds like he is coming around now and i hope that everything is going to work out.
i will definitely check the unit and inspect it when i get it but i don’t think he will try anything like that...
it is so unfortunate that he has acted this way and i hope after all this that he either closes his business that he does not care about to save other ppl (not likely...) or that he changes his ways and steps it up to the next level, although it will not be easy to get himself out of the hole he dug....
