    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Even if i did send you my reference list what kind of crap would you make up with it.  Do what you have too.  Things are going just fine here and just added three more people to the list last week and have two more trades going this week.  Sorry for not meeting your approval GOD (jason), if there was any problems going on don't you think you would here about them on here, so hmmmmm let me think for you since you seem not to be able to, things must be going fine and making everyone happy.  Sorry to disappoint you cause i know you are looking for anything and everything that you can possibly get on me.

Guess what Jason I can almost guarantee that some people on my reference list you have done business with before and I am sure would continue to do so also.  I can sleep very well cause things are going just fine.  I didn't threaten anyone on the phone, we probably did have some words though.  I am not going to waste my time threatening anyone.  You are probably right at one point we have had words.  Big deal I have words with people before, I don't shy behind things I speak my mind which that is a problem for alot of people and alot of people get offended by it.  That is my problem if I offend people with how i talk but that is also me.

I've been keeping up with this threat for a while now, and to honest there aren't any specific instances of wrong doing that I can discern. I’ve read lots of frustration, accusations, and maybe some misrepresentations/miscommunications, but no one saying anything specific that Matt has done (Lately).

That said...
I subscribe whole-heatedly to the idea that you MUST be honest with people, if not you WILL be found out. People who try to hide things mistakenly believe that they are smarter than the people they are lying to, usually not the case. I'm also a "no excuses" "no sillya**ness" guy, so when things don't go well, you'll hear about it, when they do go well, everyone will hear that too and just as loud.

I've only recently known Matt, but he got a good slate with me to start off with, and seems to be on top of thing. Although I know some people that have done business with him in the past have been unhappy, it always gotten resolved to the best of my knowledge.  Additionally he has gotten praise lately from several people, so I letting the past be that past may be the best thing here. It makes seeing things clearly much easier, good and/or bad.

But...
I'll let everyone know how it goes this week with our trades; though I have no doubts I'll be happy as a clam....

One more thing: No one leaves the herp business...it like the mafia. Once you’re in, you can't get out, no matter how hard you try  <img src="http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'>

Classic Dum's...Sorry I don't know your real name...I understand you have some animosity towards Matthew.  I'm not trying to tell you he's a good guy or a bad guy.  What happened between the two of you is between the two of you but I'm a bit discouraged by your previous post.  I'm not saying Matt is a great guy.  I'm not saying Matt is a bad guy.  I'm merely saying that my experience with him was positive and I got what I paid for in above satisfactory condition.  Anyone who asked me about my deal with him would get that answer from me.  To be quite honest, I was stressed out by reading all the stories about him on this board, be they legit or not, I don't know.  At any rate, all I've done is say that I had a deal with him.  It went through and I'm satisfied.  I'd say that makes me a reference by definition unless I were to say "No Matt I won't tell anyone our deal went well and as planned" would be foolish and rather pointless.  
    As someone new to keeping herps and somewhat an innocent bystander in this whole circus, I don't really understand why you would say I won't deal with someone on his reference list.  Maybe I'm reading your post wrong but it sounds like to me you are saying "I won't deal with you because you had a deal with Matt Martin and it worked out great."  
    I don't really think that that is your attitude and I do understand your feelings of animosity if your accounts are true.  Again I don't know, that's between you and Matt but please try to keep an open mind about the rest of us and don't alienate someone just because they bought something from matt and it worked out ok.
    I can't say that I've seen a site of yours that I remember but I've seen your name while looking around on the net and I think It would be unfortunate if I saw something you had that I wanted and you "wouldn't deal" with me because I said Matt was honest with me.
    I bought a snake from someone (Matt Marin)I found on the internet before reading the horror stories about him on the BOI.  I must admit, if I had read this thread before paying I probably wouldn't have gone through with the deal but I found it after the fact.  Hindsight is 20/20 but I'm glad I didn't find this board because I wouldn't have the beautiful animal that I have for the great price I got it at.  If that makes you hate me and not want to deal with me at all then I begin to question your logic a bit bud.  I'm not singing songs of praise to matt or anything, I'm not his attorney defending him, I'm just a dude who got a snake from him.  Don't hate the rest of us because we didn't get screwed by someone who you are at odds with.

I just wanted to leave a short note and let everyone know that I have completed my trade (3 snakes) with Matt. Everything went off just like clock work and they arrived today!

The snakes were as he stated and appear to be in robust health; in fact I just fed the 2 anacondas a few minutes ago, no problems eating one the day they arrived! (Normally I wouldn’t have fed so soon, but I had some mice that needed eating today).

Matt is a unique guy that I believe intends well by his customers; I hope this is the first of many good reports to come on experiences with Matt, that’s all up him.

I assure you I myself been taken before, so I don’t take doing business lightly. But this went as well as you could hope for, so that’s that.

Why don't you read me where it says I am getting out of it?
It says cleaning house and getting rid of some oddball stuff but that would mean you would have to understand what you are reading.
I have been doing quite well with no complaints, don't you think the normal watch dogs would have figured alot of things out if things were going differently.
Make sure you get your info correct and like before can supply plenty of happy people that have gotten animals from me here recently.

Go back and re read and tell me where it says I am getting out of it?

I must admit to watching Matthew VERY closely for a while. Now I no longer need to. He has done a 180, NOT a 360 but a 180. In fact I had enough confidence in him to try and buy one of his animals at one point in time. I just did not have the money. Well the animal is long gone. So next time I guess
 
I have done some business with Matthew a couple different times and I just have to stick up for him in saying that he has been nothing but an honest and good guy to me.
 
Also I know that Barry and Matt are 2 different people b/c I have talked to both of them. Barry is actually the one that introduced me to Matt about 9 mos ago. If you have any ? you can call me. 979-822-6940 Travis
