• Responding to email notices you receive.
    **************************************************
In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy MEL KRUGER - CROOK

Perhaps some T-shirts should be made up and worn during the shows he attends stating the fact that Kruger is a thief and info could be attained on this site.

Or ask the people running the showner of it would be ok to post a few flyers warning people about kruger with a link to this post on it.

Did anyone go to the show?

I wonder how it went, especially after the calls the promoter received from me and others. Apparently Mel has screwed others over...even some who were vending at the show.

The same guy ran me around and backed out on me three times he's a scammer and should be treated as such.

Did he just back out of a sale or trade, or did he actually get you to send stuff that he didn't pay for? I'm wondering if this is common for him.

Backed out multiple times after deals were made I was going to Drive to Arizona to meet him and made arrangements and he backed out he supposedly drove out here and backed out as I was preparing to leave to meet him. He is not a person who keeps his word by any means I've been around the industry for over 20 years and guys like this not anyone I would do business with shady at best

The promoter was torn. He said that he had already left to go to the show and did not want to risk him ruining the show or bad mouthing him.

During our second conversation, he mentioned that he received another complaint, this time from a vendor.

Haven't so poke with him since. Although he did say he would not invite him again.

He finally picked up his phone and pretended to be someone else "you have the wrong number"

When I called him out on it he became irate saying "you got scammed buddy, deal with it"

Mel understand this will never go away.

You should have recorded the phone call.

As long as you tell them you are recording the conversation it's legal.
Like Mel Kruger would consent to the OP recording their phone call, yeah.

I won't waste time researching AZ phone recording laws, but even if NY is a "one party" state, AZ may not be. Not good advice to record unless one actually knows the state laws.

AZ has no jurisdiction if the call was recorded in NY.

Seriously, who the heck has a tape recorder available to record what was likely a 15 second call?
There are free smart phone apps that you can set up to record every call. If you don't need the recording you delete that file.

There are land line digital recorders that also can be set to record all calls automatically simply by plugging the recorder into an unused phone jack. I have one on my business line since I'm not always in a position to take notes when a call comes in.
