    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

i read the frog links . and have to say i have always and still do try to give a chance to make good. i am very disappionted after seeing the pictures of chris .and i try not to let pictures make up my mind .i have seen the lowest of people that are realy good of heart .but when i see a coke pinkie.they have demons that no one comes above.
 
A while ago there was a guy on TTTF who seemed to be very much like Chris. Involved in every thread, posted a lot of pictures, seemed to be very willing to help with anything. All in all he seemed to be a good guy and everybody trusted him (sound familiar) all of a sudden he was into people for thousands of dollars and had a myriad of excuses as to why he couldn't pay or he just disappeared. He was a kid and his parents eventually stepped in and made things right, at least that's how I remember things working out. Well, it seems that some people are slow to learn. They are treating Chris the exact same way they were treating that guy. Oh well, at least when Chris gets into someone for a ton of money at least they can't say they didn't see it coming
 
Well...

First off, that is So not what i pictured Chris to look like.. I thought he was a kid about 19 years old.. Not sure why I thought this..behavior maybe?

Secondly, my frogs arrived today. He said I would be getting lots a "free" stuff.. maybe he meant the Styrofoam packing or perhaps the wad of moss in the cup, but nothing else.. Oh well, not concerned with that.. They did arrive by Overnight air UPS. They are small (dime sized) and very cute. Active and look great. Havent fed them yet and waiting on Chris to let me know what he fed and how often. So, so far so good. I will wait a day or 2 to make sure they thrive. They are quarantined right now and will remain that way until they grow enough to be put in with my adult.

that sounds great . wellllll at least the part that you got the frogs . i pictured chris as a lot younger also . a man his age should be more responsible. .but also like i said i saw the coke pinkie .

his name was Tim Osborne. He tried selling frogs on there, he seemed very intelligent and was a respected member of the board, then he started offering frogs that were harder to find, accepting money and never sending the animals... people started getting worried when he dropped off the board..

some of his family made posts on there saying that he was in a financial bind/some sort of mess and although he intended on paying people back their hundreds/thousands of dollars, he didnt have the money right then. he made good on his word with a few people who spend a few dollars, but not with the one's that were out hundreds...

I'll take the comparison at its face value, but for it's worth, Tim Osborne actually knew quite a bit about animals. I don't condone his lasting actions or the debts/collecting on animals he didn't have, but I personally looked up to him for knowledge for a while - something I can say for very few people on the board. And he actually bred a few of the animals he dealt. These are things I cannot even begin to associate with Chris.

Frank- I guess I should have made it a little clearer. I am not comparing Chris and Tim. I am just comparing the similarities of the situations. People spending a lot of time building up a positive image and getting to be pretty well respected and then for some reason it all goes south. I know there are some who think Tim planned it all along. I don't think he did. I think he just got in over his head. His problem was that he did it with the people on the frog forum. It ruined it for him there. Chris' transgressions happened off the site and as a result a lot of the people there still look up to him. I don't want to put words into your mouth but if you are saying what I think you are saying then yes, I put much more stock in the things that Tim said over there than anything Chris ever did.
 
chris sorry you feel that way . i just call it as i see it and from reading the posts others asked you about the coke pinkie also . if i had my tits hanging to my knees you would say dangly tited crone . i would tell you they are my knee cleaners . fact is they are dangly old tits and yours is a coke nail.not a guitar pinkie.

Chris is rude ignorant and vulgar , i have read some of the emails he sent to others . they are crude. i can't say the things he has called some of his customers but they are very bad , he acts like a child if things don't go how he wants them then he gets very vulgar, i don't know how he ever got that he can payback money he stole when he wants ,ship when he wants and what he wants ,and call some of his customers what he doe's . these are paying people they don't have to give him their hard earned money .if ever he would think of building up a business he has to respect his customers . this he doe's not do . this kind of behavior is going to haunt him forever. doe's he think for one minute calling someone a pig or bi*ch is going to look good for him ?I should be happy this isn't half bad as some of the things i read .doe's he realy think that what he calls his customers and his bad dealings aren't going to come to light.i do beleave most are good but yes i have to admit it he is bad news,and i will tell anyone i come into contact with ,about my experience . you know some of what i have read is very degrading but realy how low can he go is only a reflection upon himself.

I agree. He got paid $200. I doubt he refunded $200 since the guy got 6 living tokays.. Whatever was left SHOULD have gone to Scott. I gotta get paypal to Scott too as soon as I remember my password. :eek: Havent forgotten about ya bud.
