    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I ordered 2 Rancos w/8 slot power strips from MG in October and paid for them at that time.He said the 8 receptacle strips would have to be ordered.I checked a month later and he said they hadn't come in,and offered some 6 slot strips instead.I needed the 8's and I agreed to wait as long as the 8's were indeed "in the system and not forgotten"A month later,I checked again and was toldthe manufactuer said three more weeks.It seemed odd as the 8's are on the shelf at the Home stores,but I figured he has to get them from his source to make his margin.3weeks later,NOTHING.At this point I am not upset YET,and agreed to accept 2 6 slots on each themostat instead of 1 8 slot,and was giving a definate ship date.Several days went by with no package and I contacted MG with a request for the merchandise or money back and he said no refunds,I already shipped.I asked for a tracking # and was given a generic PO message that said MG had notified the PO to "expect a shipment"????? I asked him why he lied about my shipment and he replied"I didn't lie,I simply failed to ship on the date I said I would"I then replied If I don'y receive my order,I will report to KS,Fauna etc .MG replied that if I say one word about this,he will sue me as his Father in law is an attorney.I asked him how can he sue someone if they are telling the truth?
I finally received my order and now the best part.One ranco had 2 of the same strips and the other one had 2 differsnt strips.Upon plugging them in,onlly the odd strip worked.I contacted MG and he said everything is tested and if I wanted to send them back,he would"take a look at them" After all the above,I went to the home center and purchased 2 8 slot strips,hooked them up and learned my lesson.I have all the e-mails if someone wants to post them,but it seems like a moot point after all the other posts .Perhaps it is good his father in law is a lawyer,he may have to support matt when he has no income.

Jessica I am sorry you wre unsatisified with our service. We stayed in communiaction with you the entire time. Also, just to be clear you have to pay for something before you receive it. You ordered connection sets which is exactly what you received.If you wanted them connected you would have ordered plug and play connection. If there is anything I can do for you let me know.

Perhaps Jessica requested the hookups in an email or in the Notes/Other section that's sometimes present in the PayPal form (not shown in the screenshot). Jessica, did you do so?

If so, it was Matt's responsibility to either correct the error in item ordering ... ie "Sorry but if you want me to connect them, you will need to order item X instead of item Y", or explain before shipping that it wouldn't be connected.

Just seems weird because Jessica says she requested that they be hooked up.

Seems to be a reaccuring theme. Pretty sure there is quite a few posts about orders being dicked up and / or slow to ship.

For some reason this seems to get said alot in some form or another yet there are quite a few posts to say different.


I'm still not buying the whole " experiment " thing. Matt has had a tendency to blow up , apologize , blow up bigger , apologize etc etc . Seems everytime there is an experiment , said experiment gets more out of control each time.

As for the religion thing , I'm not a big believer in organized religion but even still one should practice that which one preaches. To come on here and down someone then pop off with " GOD bless " spits in the face of those who truly believe. The apologies and asking for forgiveness , ohhhh boy. Thats a whole can worms in of itself. Sorry bud but not buying that either . You can't come on here claiming someone did something to you without proof , make accusations toward them and pop off with " I'm sorry " mixed with asinine reasoning of why they are your enemy . True forgiveness needs no explanation. You either truly forgive someone or you don't . No middle ground there . Walk what you preach and stop playing kiddy games. Ain't in 3rd grade no more .

If you don't have the thick skin or intestinal fortitude to play the game then get out and be done with it. This has been going on for how long? You're claiming 250k in business last year and you can't find some way to use part of that to implement a better plan than this? If this is the best ya got , give up now unless your just in it for our entertainment value. There are others in the same biz that are just as busy if not busier with full time jobs , their collections AND taking care of their customers plus other day to day things that are getting it done without the pathetic excuses we seem to see here quite a bit. Too much is offered for small businesses for you or anyone else to flop around and screw it up this badly while claiming your trying . Trying never took the prom queen home.

Thank you all for the karma points. I just couldn't believe how low a person would go to avoid saying they were wrong. I just don't understand why. It's so much harder to keep a lie going then to just be honest and stick to the truth. Some people :shrug01:
 
Jessica I was not wrong.. You have to order and pay for an item before you receive it. I filled your order exactly the way you ordered it. Example:

You go to the store to buy an apple
Pay for the apple
Get home and then get mad because they sold you an apple

Makes no sense, just seems like you all are grasping at straws here.. If you wanted them connected then you pay for the connections.. I sent you EXACTLY what you ordered..
 
So Matt, when Jessica sent you this on Feb 8th, why didn't you let her know it was extra and invoice her? Seems pretty clear to me what she was asking you, I'd think a professional such as yourself would know exactly what she asked for and made sure the order was to her satisfaction before filling the order.
