    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Michael knows of this thread and it is possible for him to view these threads without logging in. Having said that, your deal with him, David, if it goes well, is useless as a gauge for his customer service. You can't tell me he's not checking to see exactly what you're saying about him as this deal progresses. Even if he's the worst scammer to ever grace the herp community, he'll make sure this one deal goes well because he's under a microscope. If he doesn't, he's not very bright.

Well at this point it does not matter if he saw the thread or not. No snakes, No Fed-ex tracking number. Did not return any calls nor has he answer any E-mails beyond the one telling me he recieved my payment and will send the Fed-ex tracking number as soon as he has it. We will see if he responds to the Dispute in PayPal.

Not a happy camper right now. So yea you can all tell me I told you he wasn't a good person to deal with and I should have started the backing out earlier, like right after I found this post. :eek:

Yesterday!

I have an E-mail stating the Fed-ex overnight and another saying he will get us the tracking number as soon as he has it.

Fed-ex shows up at our house pretty much right at 10:00 AM when they are delivering anything. Bonus for being only a mile or two from the local hub.

Remember the above is all based on my computer being on Eastern time. Also please remember I am currently working in a central time zone which is the same as where he is located. But that means when I talk time I am an hour behind my computer.

My wife and I did not recieve any other E-mails from him beyond the one when he confirmed the payment recieved. Maybe he typed the E-mail address wrong, but I would think it would be easier to hit the reply button. Additionally my cotten picking companies e-mail does not allow any correspondence to be deleted. It all gets compressed and saved for several years before anything gets deleted. Also I have to question his logic as while day time high temps did reach 95 degrees you are not supposed to drop a live reptile off until the late afternoon. Temps are going down. They are shipped inside trucks. Night time temps are dropping down into the low 70's and they are supposed to arrive by 10:00 AM the next morning. Where he is shipping to the night temps are dropping down to mid 60's. To me it does not look like a lot of fore thought went into thinking that statement out.

I do not know what else I have to say at this point to get my money back. At this point I believe my wife and I have made it clear that if he ships the snakes no one will be there to recieve them. Also I don't see how he could claim I cost him anything at this point!
 
Still waiting on the "pending" refund. No word from the seller.... I have about lost hope of getting my money back. What can I say.

Anyone can make a simple mistake, or have a problem with the shipping company. If the seller is a true "good guy", they will do all that they can to make a bad deal right - THAT is what really stands out to me.

That said, I do wish you the best of luck in getting this sorted out. Keep us posted on how things turn out.

I will have to agree with you on that. Some times buyers can have unreasonable demands though also. Then I have to say though also if her demands were unreasonable I would think since he has seen this thread he would at least post something in his defense if someone was making unreasonable demands.

I will also continue to post all communications here so everyone can see the outcome. Considering he has not shipped yet I don't think a refund is an unreasonable demand at this point. It hasn't cost him anything yet! He just seems to be a little slow on responding. I have also decided not to respond in my E-mail anymore and let all communications go through PayPal. If he E-mails me again directly I may respond with just that statement and that would be that. I figure that is the safest way to go!

i have sent emails to both parties but i see that they have not posted the emals for the things i mentioned
so once again i guy does the right thing and the boi is used to thrash another breeder because people just have no patiance

Well the guy that bought the BPs has stated several times he cant be home to receive them... So why would you wait to ship something someone cant receive in person? Kinda odd id say...

When you say you are waiting for cooler weather do you mean September or October?
Have you considered cold packs and Ms. James requested for her shipment?


I understand that you are new to all this but you really should be trying to make good on mistakes now as well as asking questions and reading on the Business & Shipping Forums so you learn how to do it right.
And if you are going to withhold shipping waiting for the weather you might consider waiting to sell until then as well.
