Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them.     Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Mike Massey - The Worst Guy Ever

If he is so bad how come he is allowed to be selling pythons in the classified area of Fauna?

While I wlil admit I am newer in the herp community. Anyone can get scammed. I was adding my feedback and personal experiences to this thread. I have no problem with Mike Massey and have purchased all my hets from him after verifying them with thier original breeders. Apparently the validity of thier genetics is now at question? I suppose we will see this winter. I will gladly post after eggs hatch.

So far as spending thousands of dollars and not recieving snakes after months and months. I already went through that process, due to the cold winter. However I did receive my snakes in good health.

I'm an Ohio resident, and would be willing to do anything I can to help anyone directly involved since I'm within driving range of Toledo, and may know some people in the hobby that might have some more info on him. I'm fairly close to a group from BGSU (Bowling Green State University) that are very active in the herp community and may know of him as well, or maybe his whereabouts. The Columbus Expo is this coming weekend, and I'll do some homework there as well. I'll keep everyone posted. I apologize, but I didn't really have the time to read through this thread in detail - but it sure looks like somebody is doing some serious #%@* in my backyard, and if I can help bring this guy in, I will gladly make it a priority.
 
Amy Lundy is his fiancee, and while not as knowledgeable to snakes as her counterpart she is doing the best she can to ship out snakes, and make sure they are the correct snakes.

No offense Shakahn's Grove - but that doesn't sound to comforting, especially when hets are involved. I know you're sympathetic to all of those involved and trying to give some of us another perspective on what may me happening at the moment, as well as your personal experiences with Mike, so I want to asure you again I'm not trying to offend/attack you, but I do find it hard to believe this guy is on the up & up.

the more I think about this thread the name Mike Massey "sounds" familiar. Now I'm not 100% sure on this but if I remember correctly, this guy tried to do some business with a friend of mine MattG on some het pieds - anyone recall this

Look at the date on the ad. It was posted back in September. It just got bumped because two people replied to it. It is not a new ad.
 
My point is that no matter how old the ad is, all someone who does not know this person is going to see is that he has 5 positive comments. Either the people who have been complaining might want to leave him appropriate feedback, or the guy should be shut out so that his apparent (from his feedback) glowing reputation does not lure someone new into buying from him.
 
I just left negative feedback in his comments section. I think everyone else that got screwed should do the same.

i would like to let you i talked to those people and he sent them corn snakes any body who is anyone can get corn snakes when it comes to hets you better have the real deal or you are messing with the wrong people i know right now that mike messay will never sell another snake and those of you that keep defending keep up the good work because it dont seem to be doing a lot of good and how are we to know that you are not his friends and those hets that you got and checked with the breeders i would like to know who are the breeders maybe that will help.

Since Mike has chosen to not reply to any of my emails I have gone to the next level because Mike has no interest in making this deal right and giving back my $2000 I have filled a fraud claim on www.ic3.gov which is in connection to the fbi. I am also planning on filing on www.fraudbureau.com and antifraud.com as well as contacting both of our local police. By the way Chis his supposed partener, which he is not, informed me that he talked to Mike Massey last week and he said he was just in a fender bender and he was fine. So there is the newest lie that came from him that he was in a bad car accident. That is the worst karma that you could ever have. Unbelievable.

Well I see that I'm not the only person this jerk has screwed. I sent him $1400 for 2.2 het albino babies late last year to have shipped this spring. And guess what.....no snakes. I'm tried to contact him 100's of times. Then I did get a email from Chris, his former partner and he is giving me info on what to do. I read in a few posts that he gave out 2 addresses. The one I have is on Underwood ave. Toledo, OH. Anyone want to make a trip there let me know I'll pay for it......lol.
 
If we all file complaints to the same websites, police dept, ect.. then something will happen. On kingsnake they have some suggestions on what to do. Here is the link: http://market.kingsnake.com/complaint.php
I have filed complaints with my bank, paypal and www.ic3.gov which is the same as the first link on the kingsnake link. I think we should all file with the toledo police dept. as well www.toledopolice.com

If you don't know this Mike Massey VERY well, you might not want to stick your neck too far out for him. The evidence seems to keep piling up that something very bad is going on here. Unless you actually SAW him in the hospital, I'm not certain I would vouch for that being the case.

Just a word to the wise. Con artists are, by their very nature, quite convincing.
 
Not intending to stick my neck out for anyone I do not personally know. I do understand that (thanks =)). I was meerly adding information to the pot. Although apparently it did this particular situation no good. I wish everyone the best in recieving what is is rightfully theres.
 
well druss if you read the whole post i never went there and me being 16 he would have to come get me well he never came he also wrote that post and i let him so he wouls shut up and maybe juts maybe i would get my snakes so befor you start getting all pissy at some one ask first
