    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Well, it is official. I just got screwed out of $2000 from a guy in Toledo, Ohio named Mike Massey. I paid for a 1.1 adult breeding size SK line pair of 100% het axanthics 3 months ago and after a million excuses he decided to not resond to my emails anymore and turned his phone off.
What really sucks is that I paid through paypal and they said they might not be able to get my money back because it has been 3 months. They only cover it for 30 days.
Anyways, I figured I would spread the word that he is a scam and to not buy from him and possibly his supposed partner Steve Burke from NY. I am not positive about Steve. Mike told me awhile ago that Steve had half of the money and when I tried to contact Steve there was also no response so I think it is safe to say that they are both scam artists.

hold on there this is steve i am in now way with mike i am pissed he said that i am waiting to get my snakes that i also payed 2000 for he sold me 1.1 het albinos back in jan and they have not showed i am so pissed right now to see that my name is even used with this guy. i would like eveyone to know what i am in noway delaing or selling for this guy

Not to add "insult to injury" but how old were the hetero for albinos? Because even the "well known" breeders are selling pairs of babies for $1,000 shipped retail.

Ok, I just made a big mistake about Steve Burke. He was the wrong Steve. The Steve I emailed was from dragon herps or something like that in NY. I just tried to find his email again through King Mike, Mike Massey's website and wouldn't you know it his site is taken down. I know this makes me look like an idiot saying the wrong name, but that is why I am correcting myself and appologizing to Steve Burke. Sorry Steve. If I find the other Steve I will write it on this post. Steve from Dragon Herps or whatever it is called still might not be involved and I hope he contacts me to clear things up, but Mike Massey is a terrible person to deal with and there is no mistake there.

i also thought that mike and steve were partners but i have been talking to stever for some time now and he has nothing to do with a partnership with mike.. its some other kid out of NY his sn is baseball something.. anyways just wanted to clear things up for steve. as i know he is waiting on an albino boa from mike :)

so far steve has been a pretty good guy in my book.. :)

When I sent the money I didn't even hear of BOI and a few weeks after I sent it I heard about this site and read what was on him and there wasn't really anything on Mike. There was one guy saying that he didn't get the correct snake and I asked Mike about that and he just said it was some young kid lying and he was going to make it right anyways so he didn't ruin his reputation. Of course that same kid still hasn't gotten anything back like the rest of us. Mike is a pretty good talker. When you hang up the phone with him he makes himself and his business seem legit. I guess that is why several people have still bought from Mike Massey. Now that everyone has realized they got screwed and are putting stuff about Mike on here, Mike has disappeared. His phone is turned off and his website is down and he doesn't respond to any of his three emails that I have.
 
Wouldn't you know it. Since I posted a complaint on payal and on BOI and everywhere else, miraculously Amy Lundy, Mike Massey's fiance contacted me to ask me my address again for the 500th time so I can be sent the het pair. This is the same game that has happened for weeks/months now. I give all my info and then I don't hear anything again for a while and then a lot of emails and phone calls happen from me to them with no response and then the same thing starts again with the same questions on my address, etc... This time I said the deal is over and to send me back my money and I won't play this game anymore. She hasn't responded since I sent out that email. There is a real shocker. I am guessing that she got an email from paypal and now she is trying to cover their tracks. As for the thing with Steve, that was another lie from Mike so he didn't have to pay me. Steve wound up being a 16 year old kid that also got screwed from Mike. Unless there is another Steve in NY, which I don't think there is, then that is just another lie to add on the pile.
What really sucks is that if paypal forces this deal to happen instead of me getting my money back is that he could just send me two normal ball pythons and make up some info about them being hets.
Mike or Amy if you are reading this make this right and send me back my $2000 through paypal to [email protected].
 
Did you use your credit card to pay with Paypal? If so, you might have better luck dealing directly with your credit card company.

I certainly wouldn't accept hets from someone you don't trust.
If someone stole $2,000 from me I'd be pricing airline tickets right now.
 
Look, it's real simple; if you are going to spend 2000$ plus on anything period ,unless the seller has an air tight reputation ,you should do a person to person transaction and inspect your potential property first hand. The simple fact that a person sounds 'good' on the phone is meaningless. James Tyler
 
I think I figured that out now about paying without receiving. I did not pay with a credit card through paypal, that is another mistake I will never do again. I paid through paypal becuase I was driving out to Ohio for another reason and I didn't want to carry that much cash, I know that sounds dumb, so I paid him a few days before I was out there and I was going to meet with Mike to pick them up. Oh course once I was out there he wasn't around, but at the time I wasn't really all that worried because he said he was just going to ship them when ever the weather was safe to ship and it snowed just about every day for the next few weeks. After that one excuse after another started until where we are now. I have contacted paypal and filed a complaint so they are hopefully trying to get back my money and I contacted my bank since it came right out of my checking account and they are also trying to get back my money directly through his bank. If that doesn't work I have a few federal websites that I can go and file fraud reports on him and I have his address so I can contact his local police as well as mine. Hopefully one of these will get my cash back. If I don't get it back it will at least ruin his reputaion and his credit. I am really hoping he will do the right thing and send me back my money, but if he doesn't I am willing to go to whatever level to get it.
 
I paid Chris Clark for a het albino female which turned out to be a male when I had it probed 4/15/04. He had gotten it from Mike who I had emailed to verify the sex and genetics of the snake.

Emailed Chris Clark and Michael Massey immediately and Mike replied 4/16/04 that he would fix it and to send pic and weight (which I did the same day) and that he would call me 4/19/04. Chris replied 4/19/04 and said he would speak to Mike about it.

Nothing heard from until I emailed again 4/22/04 and he replied 4/24/04, again saying it would be replaced and how I want to go about doing it and his contact number (419-870-9233 ). Called 4/25/04 and left a message and emailed 4/26/04 asking for a date so we ship on the same day and again on 5/4/04 with a date 5/12/04 after getting no replies. Mike replied 5/5/04 saying that 5/12/04 is good for him.

I emailed with shipping details and weather info 5/5/04, 5/6/04 and 5/11/04 and requesting for his info but never got a reply. Finally 5/12/04 I emailed about getting a full refund, again no reply to date. Called again and his number has been temporarily disconnected. Called Chris and told him I'd sent an email about getting a refund to them.

Called Chris 5/13/04 to confirm he's gotten the email and found out that he and Mike were business partners on my deal and Mike had scammed him as well, leaving him to deal with everything. Chris said he would give me a full refund but he needs a little time to come up with the money so I gave him till 5/22/04.

At this point, Mike is definitely a bad guy and running a scam, I'm willing to give Chris the benefit of the doubt as he has answered my call both times I called and talked to me while Mike would reply that he would take care of it and disappear for a week before repeating it again and has now disconnected his phone.

We'll see if Chris comes up with the refund and I'll pose an update.

Stay away from Michael/Mike Massey!

I know how you feel

I too got screwed by Mike Massey, I paid him $580 in September last year for a female 100% het albino ball python. He sent me a male. When i tried to tell him of the mistake, he went off on me telling me that he doesn't make mistakes.
I sent the snake back to him in October, and I'm still waiting for him to "live up to his word" and give me my refund.

I'm taking his stupid butt to court to get my money back.
Paypal won't refund money that coveres animals.

Email me with any info you might want. I'd be more then happy to help put this guy away for his stunts.

He is nothing more then a cheap con artist.

hey everyone my name is mike not to be confused with mike massey.. i have also made a deal with mike massey.. i traded him sterio equipment car tvs cameras you name it.. well it took me around 2 months to get my snakes from him and which i had to meet him half way about a 2 hour drive or so.. anyways he was 3 hours late.. and brought me my snakes.. so im thinking ok pretty good guy.. talked to him on the phone like every day or online.. he answered all my questions etc.. well then i sent him a ring worth around 4000 bucks he said he got it apraised ands its only worth 1500 or 2000.. i said bull <font color=red>[**censored**]</font> i want my ring back.. after a week of him not sending it and avoiding me he tried to make deals with me on more hets.. ok i dont want any more ball pythons.. i just wanted my ring back it has now been close to a month and still no ring and now i cant get ahold of him either.. i wasnt going to post on here because i didnt want to ruin his reputation if he turned out to be a good guy.. but now im screwed just like everyone else (mind you i just found out about this site after i sent him the stuff) oh ya and he has 3 of my snakes too.. im so pissed off.. i have his adress and if i dont get a reply from mike by tonight that my ring is being sent out.. i will drive to his house.. and i will be calling the toledo police. i think we all need to stick together and do something about this. if we work together we can get something accomplished. im so pissed right now.. as im sure the rest of you are also
but i will not let this guy do this.. especially with him living so close to me. MIKE if you read this which i know you will.. I WANT MY RING BACK and my snakes!!! or else you will see me and my dad and some police officers on your door step really soon!!!!!

hey everyone just thought you would want to know i called toledo police i have to fill out a report etc. i have the number and would be more than happy to give it to anyone whos in need of it. it would be great if anyone and everyone could call and fill one out on him asap. the more of us who call the better of a response we will get from this. its time we put a stop to this. we need to come together and not let anyone else get screwed by him. or we can form a angry mob.. lol we can all meet up at my house im only an hour from the airport.. lol and thats an hour closer to his house .. lol joking.. but anyways please let me know what you think we should all do here
