Female Ball Pythons

This hopefully this will have no bearing on this thread. I traded Mike some adult female import ball pythons I had purchased to clean up and sell. I sold them to him as imports het for normal. We talked a good bit and he told me about the animals he had but he never mentioned anything about him having ball python hets. Since I had ball pythons I would have thought he might have mentioned it. I do still have all the contact info for him if it hasn't changed since 8/12/04.

Other than that home address (which I am sure was good about a year ago), I just have an old phone number...but I might be able to pull up his mom's paypal email address. The other address may be his or her mother's.
 
My name is Chris Clark. Last year I bought a female het for albino ball python from mike. He sent it as planned, so I thought this guy doesn't seem to bad. As we started to talk and get to know each other, we became friends. Well long story short we became partners. Well after I had bought an adult pair of het pieds from him as well as 4 adult female balls as well as going into a snow project with him (2000) dollars, I thought I coulod trust him. He even built me a website. He said he would breed them for me and then ship them when they were ready. Keep in mind we were talking almost every night for almost a year. So after about 2 months it was time to ge the animals shipped. SO when I brought it up all I got was excuse after excuse. I bleieved him because we were suppose to be friends and partners. But then he started getting emails abotu the other peoples animals and there problems. He said he would fix everything so I left it up to him. Low and behold nobody got their animals. Not me not anybody. Now I am a 17 year old kid who was trying to get into the business. Now basically he ripped off a kid and countlees numbers of other people. All togther my damage was about 5500 dollars not including the people I have to pay back for animals I sold that were Mikes. I am just bedallzed and extremely angry. Hi Chris, good to see you posting here. I had mentioned your name in my earlier post but didn't give your details as I believe you're not his accomplice and had been scammed as well.

Anyway, your name didn't come up with the other guys so I didn't want to give the wrong impression that you were responsible for his other doings.

Wht don't everyone else who has any other info (phone numbers, email, phsical addresses etc) on him post them here so that others might find this thread if they tried to search using those info, we might be able to help more people who might or had been scammed.

Oh my word, what a disaster this seems to be. Okay my name is Violette Garcia I have been purchasing snakes from Mike Massey since Jan of this year. I have verified all hets that he has sold me with there original breeder. Aside from having to wait for the warm spring months on about 8 snakes everything has gone relatively smooth. I am still in a deal with him currently over another bunch of hets.

Keep in mind I do not personally have any negative things to say about any business deals with Mr. Massey. I'm sorry to hear of anyone else's misfortune and am providing to the best of my knowledge all the information I can to help anyone fix there situations. Mike Massey was recently in severe car crash which had him hospitalized for weeks. He has undergone surgury for half of his lung colapseing. I believe due to the financial circumstances over there he was selling most of his collection to pay for the hospital bills. I have not even seen him get online in a week because of the financial hardship they are experiencing. Certainly he is not yet aware of this thread or he I'm sure would say something for his side of the story. Amy Lundy is his fiancee, and while not as knowledgeable to snakes as her counterpart she is doing the best she can to ship out snakes, and make sure they are the correct snakes. The cell phone they use was broken and they were getting a new one as soon as finances were permitting.

I know this sounds bad, but after you have been promised that things are going to show up on a certain day and they don't for months you just get pissed especially if they have a few thousand dollars of yours. If you are saying that they don't have the money anymore, than that is not my problem. He shouldn't spend the money before the deal is finalized by shipping the animals and making sure that whoever bought them are happy with the deal and they are eating or whatever else his guarantee says. I wouldn't even want the hets that I paid for at this point because this deal has been one lie after another and I wouldn't be supprised if this hets were nothing more than regular ball pythons. It also looks terrible on his part if you ask for your money back and his cell phone and website are taken down within a day or so of asking for it. I am not out to screw Mike for an unjust reason. The deal went bad and he should make this deal right by sending back my money and whoever else is wants it back if they didn't receive anything.

Mike isnt in the hospital

i talked to mike the same day of his little crash and he told me it was nothing more than a fenderbender etc.. and i talked to him for a few days after that on a day by day basis.. when i told him i wanted my ring back and my snakes.. oh big suprise.. mike is no where to be found.. i called one of mikes numbers and it was off i called his 2nd line and no answer after 5 rings went to voice mail i left him 3 voice mails and i call back at night and oh what a suprise instead of ringing it went to voicemail and i know he had to have gotten my very pissed off messages and just turned his phone off..

HEY MIKE!! i want my ring and my snakes and all my original trade stuff back and ill send you your hets back! that i have received.. if you want ill even meet you at your house.. and if we dont get answers here the police will be involved.. i have already called your local police and made them aware of the situation and all the people your screwing over.. and im sure you can understand why.. so pretty much you need to contact everyone on this board your screwing over and get this solved.. Or im guessing everyone is going to call the police or pay you a visit.. if one of the 900000000 adresses you have is actually real.

Mike Massey is nothing more then a con artist.
I have already filed complaints with the Toledo Police Department, they were less then helpful. But I can let anybody interested to know, the name of the detective that actually claims he talked to Mike massey for me in November of last year.
Mike doesn't answer his phone, emails, written letters, or legal documents.
I will never believe anytihng good anybody says about this guy. He has screwed a lot of people out of money, including myself. And it will be catching up with him real soon.

Mike we know your in the hospital, your just full of SH$$.
I'm still waiting on the money you claimed to be sending me back in November of last year...

I'll be more then glad to share any info on this guy...

has anyone else met mike face to face like i have? just curious and does anyone else live as close to him as i do.. i live only 3 1/2 to 4 hours from him.. met him face to face.. wouldnt think he would screw me over since i live so close.. driving up to toledo is not that big of a drive for me to make.. its getting to the point where i do think we should all take a drive :)
 
I live in NJ about 8 hours drive to toledo. What was the detectives name? I doesn't hurt to talk to someone that might remember your case.

Just some ideas ..I'm a throw out at you guys to help ya out..

I dunno if face to face meeting with this guy would work or not... when ya just get there ya just can't threaten the guy persoanlly with physical harm, ya can psychologically by threatening to sue him.. call him every name in the book..

check the reptile shows.. ask for a list of vendors , see if he is gonna have a table at any of the shows.. then go there or notify the show person of this person shady sales tactics..

maybe a class action suit against him might do..

try contacting the better business bureau in ohio
or the attorney general in ohio..
there should be those places in toledo... somewhere
even if they don't do alot, it spreads the word..everyone should file a report individually..

rent billboard space in toledo as close to the person's home as possible.., put up a sign thats lists his name and have it say "we want our money back"

has anyone gotten screwed that paid with a with U.S. Postal Money Orders..... thats federal fraud there..

another option to, i dunno if this would work.....and i know we all hate them..lol

Hire a collection agency..

with all the moneys lost .. sounds like your claims add up to at least 7,000. that should be enough to peak someone's interest..

is there any way to place a lien agianst him or his property if he has any?

Anyone do a background check on him...for a few bucks you can find out all ya want about him..

even though i have nothing to do with this.. i think its great to see everyone working together to bring the guy down and thats the purpose of this board.. i am merely offering advice and hope my ideas can help you out..
