    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I learned a hard lesson here. I made the mistake of sending him a money order from my local Safeway grocery store. I wish I'd sent a postal money order as I would have filed mail fraud charges against him!

At that time in 2000 I was just getting into the hobby so I wasn't that knowledgeable about what a spider should go for. Obviously it wasn't it was just a scam in my book. Unfortunately Herpauction no longer exists to back up my claim. So I guess its my word against his. But I've got the money order stub and he has yet to respond. How about showing a tracking number if he shipped something to me!

I am not hiding I was at work viewing from a cell phone. I do not know were to start? I would like to say hi to Mr. Lamb the last time I spoke to you was with the Emmaus Pa police detectives. You seemed to foget this in previous posts. My wife and I remember all to well how the day before our wedding you tried to have me arrested for internet fraud. Do you not remember the conference call with me and you at the police station. I suppose you do not remember admitting to the cop how you avoided me so you wife would not find out you where buying more snakes. Do you not remember that this took place on April 21,2000. I was not the one avoiding. I had the same phone and e-mail for three years after this sale. I suppose you also do not want to remember the offer to ship that animal or give a partial refund considering you addmitted to avoiding. I had the animal for 5 months without contact. Someone had to feed water and house. I showed the cop the animal so he new I still had it months later. I showed him for the call. I didn't avoid in fact you can ask anyone who deals with me I will contact them several times a week unless otherwise noted to ship as quick as poss. I am very clear on the weather to protect the animals but it has to be major for me not to. I will ship all 4 seasons. Your excuses were either you were not goingg to be home and your front porch faced the sun or you never called back and the final contact was that I was not going to keep tracking you if you wanted your animal you new were to find me. It is funny how people have memory lapses. You said about finding a PI but why when you had my address to ship the money order. I also have to agree with the ealier post about spiders and their value at that time. Do you really think I would sell a 10,000.00 animal for 175.00. I saw the reciept and I am confused because even the cop had the posting from the reptile auction saying high gold adult an he got this from Ric and the auction site. Spider ball? You were also told by the cop to file charges in the district maistrate if we could not resolve this. In the same call with the cop you were told to contact me on a day to ship and or e-mail me. Look I am not repling to argue. I wanted this resolved then. I wish I would have save the e-mails and phone bills showing how long long along and often I tryed to contact you!!!!!!!!!!!! I guess I could try to contact that police dept for a copy of the complaint. But why when you did not follow through. You slandered me and I hope every one realizes this. I really think this should have been held differently. I work with every one!!! Why would you be different?
 
Yes I did have the police show up at your door and the officier told me you were out of work at the time and still had the snake. He also told me that he told you that he advised you to work this out to avoid further conflict. As far as a conference call that never happened. I just spoke to the officier and told him how you changed your phone number and stopped calling me. So at that the ball was in court to contact me to work this out since I didn't go to the trouble of changing my phone number. To date you've NEVER offered me any kind of refund whatsoever! In regards to my wife she was aware that I had purchased the ball python from you. She even spoke to you on one occasion about it when you were giving one of your multiple excuses as to why you weren't shipping. So why did you go to the trouble of changing your phone number?
 
Sorry I forgot to post my name Mike Masters in the last post. I for got to comment on you last post you made there is no tracking info due to the snake never being shipped. You have been watching the whole time. Kinda strange you have not commented considering you wanted to bash me all day when I was not around to comment. Mike Masters.
 
I never spoke to your wife. I never changed numbers untill 3 years later. You are obviously very wrong. There is no pleasing you. The police would have pursued me if you were correct and I was wrong. If you were able to give my contatct info to the police, why did you wait 10 years to contact me again? How did you send me payment if you couldn't find me? Why didn't you mention that the cops were involved and chose my side? You current attack is considered defemation of character and it needs to stop. You are violating my rights by lying in a public forum for whatever crazed reasons you have dug up. Yes, you bought a snake, yes you never contacted me to ship, and yes you were given options by the police and still you never followed up. Why would I hold your animal from you? What purpose would it serve in an industry where we all deal with the same folks. Why was I not arrested or summoned to court? I stand by my record and I'll swear to it.

Well bottom line I shouldn't have had to hunt him down to work this out. My phone number hasn't changed in 15 years so the door was always open for him to contact me and get this resolved.

You failed to respond to my full post. Why did you have my contact info to send money, then to give to the police, but not to contact further? The police obviously contacted me via the same number you had. You still didn't explain why it took so long, it's not like I've been hiding. I've been posting on various reptile sites for many years. My user name is always the same. You motives are clearly not good here. My intentions are always good. In a money matter, what would I charge to hold your animal for a year to house, and feed, and warm, while you lie to your wife about what you bought. What did you hope to accomplish through your actions on fauna classifieds?

Ummmm its not his job to contact you to ship.... as the seller you should be contacting him with a proposed shipping date. He paid you the money and its YOUR job to do a little work.

Period... end of story.

Your holding the animal because YOU didn't contact him about when you wanted to ship the snake. When my customers buy an animal from me they get an email with a proposed shipping date that they must agree too before I ship. If that date will not work for them then we work out a date that will.
 
Charles, why didn't you just send Michael a pm and handle this privately?
Apparently there are two sides of a story and this didn't constitute a "Bad Guy" thread being posted. If I were Michael I would be quite pissed in the way you went about trying to resolve something from 10 years ago.
 
The phone number you gave me was no longer working. As far as contacting the police I didn't think it was worth my time to drive to PA and file charges against you and then have to go to court. I told the officier I was no longer able to reach you at that number and did give them the address that I sent payment to. While it's been ten years, you not refuting the purchase. So why don't you offer me something ow and put this to rest?
 
Steve: I had no way of knowing for sure if it was the same Mike Masters until he confirmed it here. As one of the earlier posts stated it's not my job to hunt him down and work out an arranged shipping date for the animal! Mike it's called CUSTOMER SERVICE! And I'm perfectly willing to put this to rest if he offers me a refund!

We did have several dates but they were cancelled by Charles Lamb not me. I can't ship and animal when nobody is going to recieve it that is cruelty. I chased him down, he refused to allow it to be shipped. I held the animal for a year! I won't leave animal out to bake on somebody's porch. It's his responsiblity to give the ship date and hold to it, as he is the one he needs to be there. I can't tell somebody when to stay home from work and accept an animal, he needs to tell me when he can accept the animal safely.

Charles and Michael this is for the both of you.

The statue of limitations have passed on this and why don't the 2 of you take care of this and come to an agreement. Take care of it email, PM, or come to an agreement here on this thread. I don't believe that this warranted a bad guy thread after 10 years because this could have been posted in the BOI a long time ago. This was started because you were positive that the person posting the racks was the same person and as it turned out you were 100% correct. With that being said, what if this was not the same person and now he had a Bad Guy post about him on the BOI? You could of emailed Michael to find out first and possibly of worked out a solution without this post.
Is it possible since the police were involved either one of you have a copy of the police reports or were none filed?
