I had a quick look before work this morning and it was pretty disgusting the way they talked about a child.

I don't know if the version you saw is the same as the one I was sent, but in the one I viewed, he said he was pissed off at her, and later in the video makes a point of saying he is six and a half feet tall. That's more than disgusting, I could certainly see the inclusion of a statement like that as threatening.

What's even more disgusting is he is a father. I wonder if he would like it if someone posted a video like that about his daughter. I truly feel sorry for his daughter, he's one of the worst role models I've seen in a long time.

Yeah, I agree, kids can be annoying and I really don't have the most patience for their questions and sometimes know-it-all attitudes. However, to brazenly bash and humiliate a child is beyond the pale. The number of adults joining in, both in encouragement and adding their own nasty comments, was shocking.

It takes a mighty big man to declare war on a 16 year old child (though one commenter opposing him said she was closer to 14). His sycophantic worshippers following suit makes them no less despicable. I wonder how many of them he's purchased by giving them free animals?

Were one of my role models in my own hobby to do this, they would lose every shred of respect I had for them. I am also fairly confident they would face far more opposition than support.

I'm sure we'll all hear about how he doesn't care what we think and how this board is filled with losers. You'd think if he hated us so much, he'd stop crawling back here to see what we have to say.

I understand and agree that not everyone has the patience to answer or comment back to every crazy know it all teenager, but as an adult I am positive that you can use your reasoning skills to say "well you are entitled to your opinion but it is wrong" and walk away. That's what separates adults from children.

It takes humility to remain at the top, not arrogance and cockiness.

To be fair he said how tall he was, how big his hands were, in comparison to the true size of the frogs. Let's not get it twisted now. Yea he's a despicable person but let's not twist what was really said.

Oh, I know. I have four years of pet retail experience. I've gotten some of the most ridiculous questions (and not just from kids), but I did my best to be patient with them, explain and educate. Especially when it came to reptiles, since they are so misunderstood.

Somehow, despite me being pretty gruff, I still had customers who counted me among their favorite employee to chat with or purchase from.

I just find it hard to believe that anyone would think something like this was okay. Ranting and raving in private, no big deal. Everyone needs to let off steam now and then. It's going out to publicly humiliate someone is where it crosses the line.

Not only that, but he actually tagged the poor girl, so she got to see all that that was said about her.

It doesn't matter how much someone pisses you off, this kind of bullying behavior is never okay.

Zero excuse for the behavior, the tagging of Cher , the implication by name of her in the video. And the comments and rabid cyber bullying by people!!! Is disgusting. And I have screen shots of comments that were deleted. Anyone I see that commented encouraging this attack or supporting it is forever erased from my list of who to sell to or who to buy from.

I think the bashing kids aspect is covered, I saw something else.

I watched the video and one thing that jumped out at me, was that he covered the rest of his test card with his thumb. Now, I'm on my phone and the pictures are not clear but color doesn't lie. I don't keep Pacman frogs, I do however raise toads and koi by the 1000's. Or maybe it's just my eyes, you decide.

I completely agree. I took screen shots as well and will never associate with with any of the people that encouraged or participated in attacking cher. If he got so pissed off over a child making comments on Facebook he didn't like imagine how he reacts when his daughter does something that annoys him. That video is just proof that he has a bad temper and an extremely immature sense of what is right and wrong. I cab only imagine that any customer that disagrees with him or something goes wrong will be met with the same type of behavior.

That's a great catch, I didn't even notice that but your absolutely right, the color is much darker than the one he's holding it next to. The lies just keep piling up!

What stuck out for me, in the testing, is that he did not follow correct directions for the liquid test. Don't know if that means much but I did note it.

It was the lying that I was pointing out. A person's actions in one area of life, typically holds true across the board. I don't have a clue about Pacman frogs, I can tell the truth from a lie.

And for the record i breed aquatic amphibians for a living so I actually know quite a bit about water quality and testing. And focusing on the water test is not really a make or break bad guy violation. It just shows ignorance

Yes but a purposeful attempt to skew results, by not following correct directions, can = deception as well.
Not saying, 100%, that what he did was a purposeful attempt to skew results but, if he wanted to prove something, he should have followed those directions to the "T".
'Course, regardless, I do not approve of at least one of his motives for that video.

Speaking of lying, he and his mindless mob tried to backpedal a bit on the age thing. When some people had an issue with him going after a minor, he said that no one knew how old she was until after the video. That's kinda funny, since around the 0:28 mark of the video he references her being 16. He also clearly acknowledged knowing she was a minor in the screenshots he posted of their correspondence that led up to him making the video.

He is lying about other things, I can easily see how he could comment on his size as a frog comparison but mean it otherwise. I'd like to hear how the teen felt about the video.
