    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

The only time Dale's grammar and spelling had any relevance in this thread was early on when it was very difficult to understand exactly what had occurred (do to a poorly worded explanation and poor communication). Now that everything has been cleared up and a refund has been promised, it doesn't amount to a hill o' beans at this point.

It wasn't Dale's punctuation, spelling, or grammar that prompted my reply; it was the general content and tone. Maybe he and "Milly" both need to review the throwing-stones-from-your-glass-house thing, but I stand by my advice to Dale. I guess he has every right to defend himself, but I think he would serve himself better by refraining from assessing others' apparent intelligence by the contents of their posts. Know what I mean? If he'd left out the part I bolded below, I wouldn't have bothered with a reply.

still haven't got a refund its been 4 to 5 weeks now .................stay clear mike Stafani's or mikes monotors word is no good a ripoff :angry:

And what if DHL doesn't credit your account? Is Dale then screwed? Are you seriously suggesting that you guys don't have $175.00 in your bank account to process this refund immediately?

You and you're husband are both spiteful lying sacks of crap. You committed to sending Dale a refund weeks ago and it was not contingent on DHL crediting your account.

Recant my ass. Dale was right from the start. I would link this post to every inquiry ever made about you guys on the BOI even if I did get my refund. If Dale is smart that's exactly what he'll do.

and still no refund....lets go to mikes statement and post .it was.... now that the long weekend is over you ll be getting refunded your money..why the delay???????????dhl doesnt have my money .you and mike do :angry:
 
It's been said many times before that it's not how many good deals you have, but how you deal with one that goes badly (I think that's Cat's favorite saying...she may have even said it here already). Even if Dale was a difficult customer, Mike and Antoinette screwed up here!!!
 
The facts ...

Fact: Dale can't type or spell worth a damn. I think even he gets it.
Fact: Dale has something of hot head and a loose tongue and should probably think before he speaks (types) sometimes. I think even he gets it. Remember that, Dale!
Fact: Dale was given an invalid DHL tracking number. When Antoinette sent the correct number (in response to Dale's email of Friday the 9th to advise THEM of the invalid tracking number), she told him the roaches would be delivered by 5PM Saturday, May 10th.
Fact: DHL shows delivery to "residence door" on Friday, May 9th at 3:14 PM. Obviously Dale was not expecting it, based on the info he'd been provided.
Fact: A refund to Dale has been referenced time and time again. First by Antoinette, then by Mike ... now DHL is supposedly handling it?

This whole debacle may not be the Stefani's fault, but it certainly isn't Dale's fault either. The 72 hours for an "investigation" is long passed. The above quotes and statements look like nothing more than excuse-making, back-peddling, refusing to refund Dale yourselves because he did not request it in a more timely manner and now passing the buck to DHL. What a bunch of crap!
I can pay somebody in 5 minutes whether I write a check or use PayPal ... there is no excuse for him to have waited this long. And yeah, it looks a lot like poor customer service. As for placing an order (just to spite Dale) as I saw others post they were going to do ... nah.

You are doing a good job, Dale. If you go to google and type in Mikes Monitors, this thread is the first thing that pops up.

Deal with Mike Stefani in confidence. You will be treated right.

Many years ago, I bought a BOAT LOAD of lobster roaches from Mike ...he was wonderful to deal with.

Just my 2 cents on this topic.
 
Hey Harlin, might want to read the whole thread . Mike is coming off looking like a total buttwheat.. If anything Mike is lucky that Dale came off that way, if he had waited till now to post this thread people here would be looking for Mike, with a barrel of warm tar and a bag of feathers.. Mikes customer service in this has at the very least Sucked.. Randy
 
Additionally, I think the key words of your post, Harlin, were "Many years ago ..".

Look at the vendors who, just a couple years ago, were given high marks and good guy posts here, but who later proved themselves to be unworthy of that praise and trust. It happens. Mike may well be "wonderful to deal with", however in this particular case, he is lacking in the "wonderful" department.
