Mr. Kimmel,
I agree that if you or I were the seller the refund might have already been made but Mr. Ross was not in the dark as to where the refund would be coming from as stated in post #1;
The problem is we have no idea who DHL will be sending the money to.
If DHL has scheduled the refund to go directly to Mr. Ross, as it seems to indicate in the above quote, then it would be foolish for Mr. Stefani to send him an additional $175. Mr. Stefani would be out $175 for nothing and Mr. Ross would receive $350, $175 from DHL & $175 from Mr. Stefani.
This being the case I too would take a wait and see approach. If the money came to me I would get it to Mr. Ross and if it went to him I would hope DHL would allow me access to that information.
I feel we are still seeing impatience here which has been the pattern of this thread from the start.
Johnny, do me a favor and skip the Mr. Kimmel crap, OK?
Mike stated a while back that "he was sending" Dale his refund and that he would have to sign for it when it arrived. He did not say that he was waiting for DHL to approve the claim and that's the way Dale would have his refund.
The bottom line is is that this has become a crap deal for Dale and Mike is looking like the real cheap spiteful asshole in this botched mess.
There is a HUGE difference between being wrong and doing wrong. I'm saddened that I'd even have to point this out to you because you seem rather smart.
Its OK to be wrong..as is in Dales case here for the way that he has handled things.
Its not OK to do wrong... as seems it is the case with what Mike is now doing to Dale.
Being wrong and doing wrong......HUGE difference.
Mike is not a poor communicator. If it was Mikes intention to allow DHL to handle the refund then he should have told Dale this from the start. But again, Mike said HE (INDICATING DIRECTLY) would be SENDING DALE A REFUND THAT WOULD NEED TO BE SIGNED FOR.
Also, I do not believe that DHL would send a refund check directly to Dale that he would have to sign for. This is Mikes account with DHL and I firmly believe that any refund issued would go to Mike and he would be responsible to reimburse his own customer.
I have heard some wonderful things of Mike Stefani. I'm just not seeing wonderful things from Mike Stefani right now.
