    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Perhaps I was a bit quick and jumped the gun here.

It is true...the last time I dealt with Mike Stefani was several years ago.
And things can change over time.
I stand corrected. And I apologize.
I should not have commented on your deal with Mike...But only my own dealing.

If you were promised a refund...then you deserve it. Bottom line.
If Mike did not feel you deserved a refund...he should not have offered it.
A man's word (or his wife's word) should be worth more than $175.00

I would suggest you and Mike talk directly and see what can be worked out.
Perhaps you and he would be able to come back and post about an amicable solution worked out between two men. (...And perhaps you might also get your $$$ back)

From the thread...I understand that Mike was in the hospital with a knee operation.
I'm not sure of the time line here. (still have some reading to do, obviously)
If he is still in the hospital....or freshly out... and still in recovery...perhaps he has not had the ability to take care of business.
On the other hand.... if it has been a while....more than one month since the operation...Mike should have attended to business by now.
How long, since Mike has been recovering, have you been waiting for this "promised" refund?

Sometimes, in the heat of things, it is easier to call one-another names and post negative things...easier than it might be to earnestly work with each other on a solution.
Although easier...I'm not sure it is more productive.

(And I am not pointing the finger at either party with that last statement.)

I seem to have missed a bit.
It sounds as though it would be wise for Mike to take some responsibility in clearing this issue up.
Perhaps he ought to call you and see if there is a way to make amends.

Again, Dale I apologize for my 3 posts....my fingers moved across the keys before reading the entire thread. I will go back and do some more reading.
Hope you are able to work things out with Mike and get your refund.
Meanwhile, I will eat my crow.... and perhaps hobble those typing fingers.

Dale - is it possible that you stole the package and this is causing FedEx/Mike to delay retribution because they're convinced you're taking advantage of their policies?

Further proposed scenarios are irrelevant after Mike made a promise of a refund. A promise is a promise and it was not made conditional on anything else whatsoever. One can spin out further accusations of Dale into eternity and none of it will change Mike's obligation once made.
While there is nothing remiss in continuing to investigate what may have happened if you have a mind to do that, the fact is that the promise of a refund was made and it should be timely honored.
 
Yeah--what a bummer! Mike had a slam dunk good gesture--but he seems to have blown it.

And now we can't make fun of Dale any more.

I too wallow in those comments with my foot in my mouth. After sticking up for mike in the beginning due to Dale's reaction to comments made to and about him. At this time and several posts back I do (and did then) agree with Dale. He has waited more than long enough for the refund he is do. And as I said in that post it has been a big slap in the face on Mike and his wife's part to those that did come here and tell Dale he was wrong (in fewer word's than where first used). I agree with the few that commented in the fact I can't believe a business person would let this continue on like this. As a potential customer (and as I stated previously I don't need or want roaches) I would seriously think twice and look else where before purchasing from him. I think any potential customer would have to wonder "What if this happens to me too?". I know ever one is going to have hiccups at some point thus why I said think twice and look else where for comparable prices and cleaner service record.

DHL has finally today credited our account for the "stolen box". I have next day mailed to Dale Ross his $175.00 in the form of a money order.
You can all keep an eye on it the tracking number is EH 176161266 US.
In over 10 years of doing this you are the 1st unsatisfied customer we have had.
Thank you to all of the 20 plus people who may have read this and still ordered from us. Yes Dale even after your post we have shipped out 20 more orders.

I am glad to hear you are taking care of this customer. You could have avoided this whole mess, if you would have refunded his money sooner. So if they claim did not go through would Dale not have gotten his money?

It looks to be a tracking # for USPS mail. I'm not familiar with the "EH" in front of the numbers though, but normally the "US" ends in a USPS shipment. I entered the tracking # on USPS.COM and it shows invalid. Most likely because it was just sent that the info isn't yet available in the system. It can take a while. But I wouldn't put anything past these two scumbags lying again and saying they sent it went it hasn't been sent.

P.S. Thanks for the welcome back! I get sent away every once in a while when I bend the rules and get on Webslave's nerves. He sends me away on mini three day summer camps. Its fun.
