3 or 4 weeks ago I herniated a disc in my lower back, which resulted in my sciatic nerve getting pinched as well. Been dealing with this off and on for over 20 years. Let me tell you, it SUCKS!! If you have never dealt with sciatica then you cant even imagine the intense constant pain and the almost complete immobility. Seriously, you dont want none.
Anyway, over the last couple of days the pressure on the nerve has slackened and I am finally getting a little relief from the intense pain, as well as getting some mobility back. I still aint out of the woods, but hopefully things keep progressing. At least now the pain is manageable and I can move around a little bit. Not to mention being able to sleep more than an hour or two at a time. So hopefully I am back amongst the living for a while and dont have any set backs.
