    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I would also like to know how stuff like this that I am recieving is not considered bullying. Too scared to text me from a real phone or say who it is, so they use a texting app with a fake number to text me. When tracking down the number with the help of some people, it was sent from Miami, FL. That narrowed it down a little, but not enough,.unfortunately. and for you to say that I am the one being immature is sickening. I have not plastered anything about any of you, nor have I contacted you in such a way to harrass you and bully you. Really shows your true colors.

What's going to happen, i'll get my account removed? If so, I'm cool with that. I have been told by man people that this BOI is more of a joke than Facebook itself. Go ahead, terminate my account.
 
There may be people who think fauna is a joke, but there's a lot who trust in the BOI when looking for feedback on sellers.

The way you're acting just makes you look immature, and you would think that maybe you would grow up a bit and address the issues like an adult. But no, you're acting like everyone else does when they've been caught in numerous lies.

And I have to say, when I purchased numerous snakes from Paul Prunier, I never looked up a BOI. I did real business with him and he was a great dude. All snakes were sold to me for great prices ($100 for a female lemon blast is one) and were and still are healthy. But when you search him in the BOIs on here and FB, they are nothing but blasting.

Mindy, this is what is upsetting people. You are still shipping animals when you have had die offs and have not determined what caused them.

I've read this whole thread in the past few hours and honestly I'm frightened as someone who lives in Massachusetts and does most of their buying of reptiles through Expos and Shows. I use the BOI as a tool when buying from vendors that I have personally never worked with before. I worry about those who do not know this tool exists so that they can protect their collection from such a devastating disease

The IBD test is $200 alone. But they will find out about a package test if you have any other concerns.

This really scares me because you need to get it tested. Most of us who are in this hobby would do anything for our animals and if you're just as passionate about your creatures as you say...you need to get it done. So stop whining, get the test done, and maybe some of this drama will stop when you man up

You never answered my question about what snake you're going to have tested. Every snake that was in your collection at the same time as that BP needs to be tested, period. You've been talking circles trying to pass blame and avoid your screw ups for the last 20 or so pages.

BTW, you've also used the two laziest and most overused arguments in the history of the BOI. "I'm gonna sue you because you were mean to me!" and "The BOI is just a joke because all the other people who have shown their backsides on there say so!"

Wow. Mindy, stop trying to wiggle out of this whole thing. I remember being 18 not too long ago in a situation trying to justify myself even though I was just prolonging being responsible.

Posting you have a Boa to sell, before getting results, should make your mother ashamed. she is trying to raise a responsable adult and yet what do you think she thinks when she sees that?

This will be my only post probably this entire year. If $200 is too much to spend on a rest assured collection , you shouldn't keep animals at all.

In 2007, I bought a gravid ball python unknowingly. Did all the eggs hatch? Yes. Did I know everything? No. I was 16.
In 2011, I bought a gravid boa unknowingly. Did all the neos survive? Yes. Did I know everything? No. I was a few months shy of 20.
No one even knew who I was until the end of 2012/beginning of 2013.
Flash forward to today. I'm 23 years old. I have 18 ball python clutches and 5 boa litters. Do I know everything? Absolutely not. Have I been wrongly arrogant at times? Certainly. Have I made enemies? Without a doubt. But you know what I finally learned? Shut up, and listen. That's it. That's the best advice anyone can give you. I've had to swallow my pride and admit I'm wrong many times. We're all human. But you are going down a path that not many people could turn around from. Your age doesn't automatically make you ignorant. Your refusal to back down and heed advice from the seasoned keepers does, though.

I think it is beginning to dawn on Mindy that these posts of hers are permanent, and I think she probably is realizing that it might be a good thing if her account and posts went away.
Mindy, you will not get banned unless you run afoul of some site rule. And even if you do so and get banned, your posts here will not be removed.
Your future employers will read this thread,your future kids. The vet schools you may apply to in the future likely will do a search, and they will see this thread as well.
And of course as has been said before, the reptile world is a small world, people will refer others to this thread.
And all will see how you respond to health issues, and how you interact with others.

If you could afford all those animals in the first place, why is $200 for a test such a big deal?
Wouldn't you like to know the state of your collection and to make sure everything is alright?

Herps require regular veterinary care like any other animal and as someone who wants to be a vet tech...I sure hope you know this.
