    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Great news Mindy! Just remember all the stressed caused because of an amateur misdiagnosis. Always just go to the vet immediately, peace of mind is always worth it. If you're a keeper it's always good to have a few hundred extra dollars around in case of emergencies, it's something we learn along the way at some point. Good luck! :)
 
While I'm always glad to hear of negative test results, I'm sad it took over 100 pages on the BOI.

May this be a powerful lesson learned, for those involved and future readers.

Back on topic - I'm glad you got the testing done; even if you don't get it, yet. (I haven't been following the thread, but that's the impression I got....if you do understand why it was important, even better!)

On tapatalk it shows less pages than the actual site. Could that be what he's using? I use tapatalk and when I go on the actual site on my laptop it's much longer than what tapatalk shows. It shows more posts per page than the site does. But I am glad to see a negative result.

I knew I shouldn't have made that comment; but at least I added content that was relative to this BOI thread...and responded to her question privately. The subject of posts per page really doesn't belong here. Feel free to raise that subject in Fauna Feedback Forum - let's not further distract from the topic of this thread.
 
Posting again because they got lost a couple pages back on the comments. I don't know why people, here and on Facebook, keep running back to other things to keep this going. I already apologized for it taking so long, I am very defensive and hard headed and didn't want to "let you win." Yes, I understand what doing this really has done, its just my teenager attitude that I need to overcome. I did not appreciate the measures being taken and I took it as being attacked. There were better ways to get to this conclusion, but what's done is done. And here are the results, again. The more this thread keeps going the more I have to keep this where people can see it.

I've got a question about the lab reports, and you may not know the answer (your vet could tell you) - is the statement about specimen handling just a disclaimer that is always there, or were the samples fixed in formalin (which can lead to false negatives). I'm not trying to discredit the results, just asking the obvious question based on something you've posted twice.
