Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

This may be a bit off topic for the thread, but, because both are mentioned here I will post my experiences.

As for reputations....Brian has been rude to me before as for Brendan.

I asked Brendan in the past for pictures of an animal he was selling and I told he didn't have time to take pictures and if I was not ok with that, somebody else would buy them. Who sells animals and tells a potential buyer they don't have time to satisfy them???

As for Brian, he came at me sideways because I asked if he was able to come down on the price of a Pastel Het Clown. He asked where I thought I was going to get one for cheaper and told me good luck bud! Mind you, I did find one for $300 cheaper who produced 3 pastel clowns for me this year. Not to mention he posted sold on somebodys ad a day or two ago and I asked who was selling the animal, he said he bought her. I suggested he should really keep the "sold" replies to the seller, he responded with SOLD!!!

What am I getting at here? I personally would expect nothing more from these two from the accounts I have had with them. Whoever made the reply about Biggie and Tupac....These guys buy, sell and breed snakes, they are far from established musicians or schollars. Let not make anybodies heads bigger than they should be or already are. BTW, I looked for the PMs from these guys and they have been deleted or bumped because they were too old. If you want to knock my rep down for stating something without proof go ahead.

here we go another sour post.first off i was i told to POST SOLD on the the mojave ad because for the simple fact that the person i got it from was driving home from a long trip.as for the pastel het clown,i dont recall.simple fact i have never been rude to anyone inquiring on an animal i had or aleast not meaning to.so you did find a male..good for you(moving on).

These two statements fit well with each other. How is your "good for you(moving on) not a rude comment? A person who was not trying to be rude would have said "I'm sorry if I sounded rude, I was not trying to be". Also, if you were told to post "SOLD" by the seller, why did not just say that the other day instead of reposting your "SOLD!!!" comment? Pure arrogance. You just confirmed what I said about you.

I had a hilarious trade offer from Brian one time a couple years ago, or less.. And what I mean to say is... an offer of two Possible Het males for a breeder morph female Ball, or something to that tune. I was sick with laughter for a minute, or 3, then I wondered... Who the :censored: does something like that?

It was hilarious enough that I never forgot the taste it left in my mouth.

He earned a top ranking in/on my DNFBOSTL that day. It's getting huge these days, I guess I should make mention!

I've known Brian for a long time and have had many many transactions with him and never once have ever experienced a problem. Brian is a great guy and has always followed through with me. I truly feel this falls under the category of Crap Happens or Murphy's Law....Unfortunately it seems to happen to all of us from time to time
 
Ok after reading 5 pages of this crap I'm severely over it already. The BOI has turned in to a page of high school gossiping and full of cry babies. I understand inquiries, positive and negative BOI threads but if you have some stuff going on with a seller/buyer be adults and try to settle it first before blowing up someone. I've been backed out on numerous times and not once have I posted like this. I've also had my PayPal flagged before for what they thought was suspicious activity due to the amount of money I've spent in a short period of time. I've been offered dogs, cats, subwoofers, cars ect...for my snakes and guess what????? I politely say no. Quit the crying, gossiping, stop the B.S. work it out!
 
I've heard nothing but good about both guys. Frustrating to be a seller hoping you made a sell and a buyer wanting to make the sell happen. Paypal can def be a pain! Hope you two can work it out.

If you have been breeding snakes for more than a few months, you know that NOTHING is sold until money is in your hands. If you do not know that, I am telling you, now. If you thought you had a snake sold, and took it off the market, that is your fault, plain and simple. Yeah, it sucks that Brian did not follow through, but it happens daily in this industry/hobby.

Ball selling 101:

Put up your ad with clear pictures. List it for a reasonable price. If someone contacts you and wants the snake, tell the person it takes a deposit to hold the snake. If they are not willing to put down a deposit, they are not serious about the snake. If you receive a deposit, mark the snake PENDING. Once you receive full payment, then, and only then is the snake sold. If you mark a snake SOLD prior to a deposit, and just on someone's word, you are going to be very dissapointed half the time. Sucks to say, but true.

Another fine example of the abuse of what the BOI was intended for.
