Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Movement of thread concerning Dan Quinn- Manhattan Herps

Well, in preparation to file suite against Dan this Friday I have now noticed that all of his email addresses are bouncing:

[email protected] used on his new web site (http://www.geocities.com/tokaydude/ManhattanHerps.html) and Herp Portal
[email protected] used on his old web site and all correspondence with me.

and his phone 212-569-9593 has been "temporarely disconnected"

If he still lives at the same address I'm sure the Sheriff will find him for the summons. Anybody have any other contact information I might have missed?

I'd like to say Thank you to all who helped me with contact information fro Dan after every email address and phone number he has out there has been either shut down or disconnected.

I am glad to say that after a long struggle I have been repaid the money I sent him for a gecko on December 15, 2005. No kudos to Dan though. It took contacting his mother to finally make it right. She was very helpful and cooperative and also apologised for the long delay on Dan's part. I'm not going to hold my breath for any apologies from Dan himself. Especially since it took mom to clean up his mess.

Ryan, all I can say is I hope one day he will come around and make things right with you, you deserve it!

I'm glad you got your money back, Bob. As for the money he owes Ryan..I'm not holding my breath.
 
maybe his mother will realize what a turd her son is and make this right as well....and of course, pigs may fly one day.

Looks like something to be used on top of his Christmas Tree, the symbol is there but it is not the real McCoy.
 
Oh, it's the real thing I think. It still links to Fauna! LOL I guess he doesn't mind others seeing how many people think he's bad.
 
I don't even understand why he has that site up at all. Does he really think, after ripping off so many people and acting like an immature punk a$$, that anyone would buy from him?

LOL!!! I went to Dan's 'website' and clicked on the green Fauna Good Guy Certificate, and it linked directly with the GGC clearly showing the number of 'bad guy' votes and the fact that his Good Guy rating has been revoked!

The day I get a call from Ryan saying that he has even a dollar from Dan, is the day I better run to the store and get a really heavy winter coat..because surely hell will have frozen over. :hehe: Besides that obligation, I think everyone else is taken care of. I believe the only reason he paid up on at least one of those deals is because of the threat of a lawsuit, otherwise I don't think Bob would have seen his money for quite some time (if at all).

In the end, I'm glad that Dan was exposed this way instead of ripping his customers off and physically taking their money instead of not paying up on something he agreed to. At least we learned a lesson from it...albeit an expensive one, but a lesson none the less.
 
Maybe Dan should get together with Chris from TSE and form the "Supergroup" (if you will) of shady Reptile Breeding Businesses. They could play a benefit concert to raise money to defend themselves against civil suits that would be file against them. :toiletcla

Ihave a second side business of selling romance novels on Ebay. I happened to come across the funniest book- mentioning Ryan Roth. Yes it is the infamous "Lord of Temptation" by Dan's mom, Paula Quinn. In the beginning it thanks Ryan for her web site. It actually is a good romance novel, so what I would like to do is sell it to the highest bidder and give the proceeds to Ryan.
Course it is also dedicated to Dan, her teenage knight in shining armor. That is kinda well, funny...Not sure if I should go ahead and post it on Ebay and direct people there, on my web site, or here. Not sure what the TOS would say, but I have the book!

Dan, you're pretty good at covering things up(He knows what I'm talking about).. Not to pick at old wounds and bring this BS up, but this is just an ultimate low, heh. I couldn't believe all 56 pages of what I read.

Ryan, I felt guilty just reading your end of the story-- however, you kept such a professional outlook on the situation and that on it's own was impressive. I hope someday I have the pleasure of buying from you. Good luck in your web design business and leopard gecko hobby.
